Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for applying glue for sticking indices. A user friendly and customized tool has been developed which makes the process easy.
FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to the field of indices for watch dial. The present invention in particular relates to a system and method for applying glue for sticking indices
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
[002] The timepiece dial is provided with an index 2 made of metal or plastic on a flat dial 1. As a method of manufacturing this index, the following three methods are roughly classified. There is. 1) Electroforming method: A method of producing an index by electroforming using a plated metal on a metal plate, and then transferring and bonding the indicator to a dial. 2) Coining method: Using a press machine or the like, create a footing index with a foot that is made of a highly stretched metal such as pure copper or brass, and cut the upper surface or side surface with a diamond tool to make it shiny. A method of fitting the foot into a small hole provided in the dial and crimping it. 3) Cutting method: A method in which an index cut by an NC machine or the like is made from a plastic or metal material, and the index is fixed to a dial with an adhesive.
[003] Reference may be made to the following:
[004] Publication No. JP2005308707 relates to a timepiece index, as to a manufacturing method for an index such as a numeral, a mark and a sign provided in a dial used in a timepiece or the like. The timepiece index wherein the index for the timepiece is formed on a surface of a conductive base material by an electrocasting plating technique, wherein the index is separation-transferred to a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of a support material provided with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein a fixing adhesive layer is formed further in a reverse face side of the index, and wherein the index is bonded onto the dial for the timepiece via the fixing adhesive layer while separating the index from the support material is a manufacturing method for the timepiece index using the conductive base material with a metal sheet bonded on a resin base plate via a temporary adhesive layer.
[005] Publication No. JP20I 8109650 relates to a timepiece capable of realizing design with high quality even when using a dial ring of a plastic molded product, and even when restriction exists for an arrangement region of typesetting on a
dial. Solution: An electronic timepiece has a dial, a dial ring arranged on an outer periphery of the dial, and an index fixed to the dial ring. A protrusion part protruding inward in a radial direction of the dial ring is formed on the dial ring, and the index is attached to the protrusion part. A ring-shaped (ring-shaped) dial ring formed of a nonconductive material such as plastic is provided along the inner periphery of the bezel on the lower side (rear surface side) of the cover glass. The dial ring is provided with a projecting portion a which is formed to extend inward in the radial direction of the dial. An index as an index member formed of metal such as brass or stainless steel is fixed to the projection 83a. The dial ring and the index are separate.
[006] Publication No. US2009098362 relates to compositions suitable for the formation of an adhesive layer used for in-mold decoration. This invention also relates to in-mold decoration tape or strip, comprising: a carrier layer; a release layer; a durable layer; and an adhesive layer which comprises an adhesive binder, a polymeric particulate material and an inorganic particulate material.
[007] Publication Mo. JPH03186789 relates to the dial having such an appearance as plural shell substrates are combined by providing the shell substrate having partially a discolored part formed by bleaching or dyeing, and having a colored resin layer on the lower face. Constitution: The dial consists of a metallic substrate consisting of a metallic material such as brass, nickel silver, etc., and a shell substrate of a penetrating white butterfly shell or ear shell, and in the shell substrate, a discolored part is formed partially by bleaching or dyeing. Also, on the whole lower face of the shell substrate, a colored resin layer is formed, and fixed to the metallic substrate 1 by an adhesive layer. Moreover, on the upper face of the shell substrate, a printed matter such as a time character, a mark, an index, etc., is formed. In such a state, due to the discolored part formed on the shell substrate, one piece of shell substrate looks as if two pieces of shell substrates are combined.
[008] Publication No. EP3181651 relates to a set of two watch pieces assembled together by means of an adhesive when said adhesive is at a temperature TA and which can be repositioned relative to each other when said adhesive is heated to a temperature TC. Said adhesive comprises at least one formulation exhibiting: at
the temperature TC in the form of a mixture of polymer chains comprising at least pendant units X-dienes and coupling molecules comprising at least two terminal dienophilic groups Y, said units X and said Y groups being arranged to be able to react with each other and to bind by Diels-Alder reaction at a temperature T DA and to be able to regenerate by retro-Diels-Alder reaction at a temperature T RDA, at a temperature TA under the form of a three-dimensional network in which the polymer chains are interconnected by the Diels-Alder reaction coupling molecules, wherein TA
