Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CABIN CONTROL PANEL TESTING OF DUAL DRIVE CONTROL VEHICLES (FRONT & REAR CABIN) The present invention relates to a system and method for cabin control panel testing of dual drive control vehicles (front & rear cabin). The system checks the dual drive control (front & rear cabin) vehicle cabin dash boards and reduces the inspection time/ checking of cabin dash boards as semi- skilled technicians can carry out the inspection. FIELD OF INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to the field of testing system for cabin control panel (dual drive) testing. The present invention in particular relates to a system and method for cabin control panel testing of dual drive control vehicles (front & rear cabin) used Special purpose or by military.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
[002] Special purpose or military vehicles requires operation of the vehicles from front and rear due to its application and configuration. In such vehicles the primary and secondary controls are provided in front and rear cabin panels to operate and control the vehicle. These vehicles are equipped with selector switch for selecting the drive mode i.e., front or rear. To avoid the redundancy in operating at dual places, the primary controls like steering, gear shifting, clutch, acceleration & brake controls has been enabled at front / rear based on the selector switch provided inside of the rear cabin. The inspection of the control panels during assembly on the vehicle is a very difficult process and also requires more skilled manpower. If any malfunction in the panel controls, switches and lamps then finding the root-cause becomes the tedious and time-consuming process. The rectification of the malfunction is still more difficult.

This control device tester includes alternating current -direct current switching power, analog circuit, LED pilot lamp, and it through the mode that founds control device working circuit, the simulation electrical equipment that control device controls, tests control device back panel wiring relation with the help of the LED lamp according to the wiring relation of control device with on -vehicle electrical equipment.

An upper surface of a pedestal of the control panel test bench is fixedly connected with a base plate; the upper surface of the base plate is respectively connected with four air cylinders, four limiting rods, a vertical displacement base and a sliding plate; a test plate is fixedly connected over the air cylinders, and the test plate is pushed to move up and down; and the vertical displacement base and the sliding plate are located at two sides of the air cylinders and are parallel to each other. Limiting rods are distributed in a linear array manner on one surface of the pedestal and are located under the test plate.

[007] Publication No. CN212180250 relates to a differential mechanism test bench for an armored vehicle, comprising a bearing machine body and a control panel, the control panel is embedded in the upper left corner of the front end of the bearing machine body, the control panel is electrically connected with a power supply, and a driving shaft fixing frame is bolted on the edge of the left side of the top end of the bearing machine body. A driving shaft penetrates through the inner side of the driving shaft fixing frame in the transverse direction, a driven wheel is connected to the left end of the driving shaft in a bolted mode, a shaft sleeve is welded to the right end of the driving shaft, and a left shaft seat is connected to the position, located at the top end of the bearing machine body, of the right side of the driving shaft fixing frame in a bolted mode.

The utility model provides a maintenance and detection device of an electric control box. The objective of the utility model is to solve the problem that amphibious armored vehicles have no related detection experiment means. Only manual repair, verification is carried out in a real vehicle; deficiency basis, easily occurring concurrent faults, other control components are burnt out. [013] Publication No. CN213750751 relates to the vehicle detection, in particular to a test instrument for detecting a vehicle control module, which comprises a detection panel, a power indicating lamp connected to the surface of the detection panel, an anti-slip pad connected to one side of the detection panel, a power start button mounted below a touch screen, and a power interface connected to the front surface of the detection panel.
[014] Publication No. CN208848086 relates to a test device of a vehicle control unit. The test device comprises: a test unit; the vehicle-mounted terminal comprises an input operation panel, an input display panel, a processor and a display screen, the input operation panel, the input display panel and the display screen are all electrically connected with the processor, and the input operation panel comprises a plurality of switching value outputs with configurable high and low levels and a plurality of variable resistance outputs for simulating vehicle signals.
[015] Presently, test rigs are used to check the control panel of vehicle with only front dash board. Manual inspection after assembly against each parameter is carried out by physical operation method. Hence there needed a safe testing tool for Dual control cabin dash board panel used for checking both the panels.
[016] In order to overcome above listed prior art, the present invention aims to provide a system and method for testing tool for Dual control cabin dash board panel used for checking both the panels simultaneously. The present invention deals with the vehicles operated with front and rear cabin. i.e., dual drive control and the vehicle operating parameters which are checked are different. It enables simultaneous inspection for front and rear and is safe as the inspection is carried out at test bed before assembly on vehicle.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[017] The principal object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for testing dual control cabin dash board panel used for checking both the panels of military vehicle.
[018] Another object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for testing dual control cabin dash board panel which enables simultaneous inspection for front and rear.
[019] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for testing dual control cabin dash board panel which is safe as the inspection is carried out at test bed before assembly.
[020] Still another object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for testing dual control cabin dash board panel which avoids complicated conventional inspection process during assembly and reduce the overall inspection time.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[021] The present invention relates to a system and method for cabin control panel testing of dual drive control vehicles (front & rear cabin). The system checks the dual drive control (front & rear cabin) vehicle cabin dash boards and reduces the inspection time / checking of cabin dash boards as semi- skilled technicians can carry out the inspection. It checks the continuity in the wire harness and ensures the switches / indication lamps proper functioning before assembly. It is easy and single stage quality inspection process which avoids fault finding in cabin dash board panels (Front & Rear) after fitment on the vehicle. It visualizes and witness the inspection process by glow of individual lamps enmarked for the respective parameters. Thus, the testing system avoid complicated conventional inspection process of cabin panel in dual drive control (Front & Rear) vehicles during assembly.
[022] To make the inspection process easy and physically visualize, the testing system has been provided. The primary and secondary controls of front and rear cabin control are listed and the individual lights are enmarked against each parameter of front and rear cabin control panels. The figure 1 shows the list of primary and secondary control parameters identified against front and rear control panels. The controls like steering, gear shifting, clutch, acceleration & brake controls shall be possible to inspect. The test tool is provided with power ON switch. The selector switch is provided to select the front / rear cabin controls which are going to be inspected. The simultaneous inspection of the parameters related to front and rear control panel can also be possible.
[023] The testing tool for dual control cabin dash board panel used for checking both the panels. It enables simultaneous inspection for front and rear. It is a safe testing method as the inspection is carried out at test bed before assembly and helps in drive selection (front or rear or both). It avoids complicated conventional inspection process during assembly and reduces the overall inspection time. Using the testing tool even semi- skilled technician can able to perform the inspection thus reduces the requirement manpower for inspection and rectification.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
[027] The present invention provides a system and method for cabin control panel testing of dual drive control vehicles (front & rear cabin). The system as shown in figure 1 comprises battery bank (power source) (1), battery cut off switch(2), front cabin ignition key switch (3), battery charge indication signal (4), alternator signal (5)), air pressure indication- 90% (6), pressure switch- 6.5bar (7), air pressure indication- 60% (8), pressure switch- 4.5bar (9), clutch pedal switch (10), clutch indication (11), fog lamp switch (12), fog lamp indication (13), head lamp switch (14), head lamp indication (15), hazard lamp switch (16), hazard lamp indication (17), directional lamp (18), directional lamp switch (19), work lamp switch (20), work lamp indication (21), fuel pump switch (22), fuel pump indication (23), brake pedal switch (24), stop lamp indication (25), PTO switch (26), PTO indication (27), PTO solenoid (28), IAD switch (29), IAD indication (30), IAD & AD buzzer (31), AD switch (32), AD indication (33), rabbit/tortoise switch (34), high/low switch (35).

[029] The test kit includes power switch (73), front & rear cabin selection switch (74), power ON indication (75), front cabin indication (76), rear cabin indication (77), high gear selection indication (35a), low gear selection indication (35b), and control signal indications of front cabin and of rear cabin.
[030] When the Test tool is connected through a battery source and cabin harness connected with to the test tool with front cabin harness & rear cabin harness connectors I & II respectively as shown in FIG 1. Power selection switch (73) can turn ON-OFF the power source to Kit, cabin selection switch (74) to select the signal & controls of cabin required to test, in line to that an indication lamp glow (76) & (77) indicate the cabin selection. According to the selection and lamp indication will shows for each operation. The test kit checks the dual control wire harness at the same time.
[031] The system checks the dual drive control (front & rear cabin) vehicle cabin dash boards and reduces the inspection time/ checking of cabin dash boards as semi- skilled technicians can carry out the inspection. It checks the continuity in the wire harness and ensures the switches/ indication lamps proper functioning before assembly. [035] Using the testing tool even semi- skilled technician can able to perform the inspection. It reduces the requirement manpower for inspection and rectification.

2. The system and method for cabin control panel testing of dual drive control vehicles, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the testing tool for dual control cabin dash board panel used for checking both the panels enabling simultaneous inspection for front and rear.

The method for cabin control panel testing of dual drive control vehicles, as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the cabin test tool is connected to vehicle dash board wire harness of either front cabin or rear cabin, connector harness of vehicle front cabin (I) & rear cabin (II) is connected to Test tool, the switch (73) is ON to check all the electrical functions related to dash board and eventually lamp will glow (75), the drive cabin is selected either front cabin drive or rear cabin drive which need to diagnosis through a switch (74) and eventually lamp will glow (76) or (77) respectively based on selection, one by one control functions available on dashboard are checked and the respective lamps glows on the tool kit which indicates the proper wiring of dash board harness and if any error found or detected in any circuit, respective lamp will not glow which required rectification of the circuit.
