However it is important to keep a check that the hands do not have any bend.
[003]Patent No US8978435 relates to straightening apparatuses for wire-processing machines. The wires, for example, insulation-stripped strands or complete conductors of copper or steel, which are processed on a wire-processing machine, are usually made ready in drums, on rolls, or as bundles, and, for this reason, after unrolling, are often to a greater or lesser extent curved and possessed of twist. The patent is related to the wire processing machines used for straightening coils or drums or bundles of wires. This doesn't use belt like conveyer to feed the material to remove the bend. The watch hands are passed through only one roller for bend removal, but in case or wire it passes through several set of rollers to remove the bend in both axis.
[004]Patent No US4464919 relates to particularly suited for straightening wire from a coil. The straightener includes a first bank of rollers for guiding the wire for longitudinal movement in a first plane. The first bank of rollers has at least three rollers each having a surface for contacting and bending the wire. The roller surfaces are spaced longitudinally from each other and are offset laterally within the first plane. The device also includes a second bank of rollers for guiding the wire for longitudinal movement in a second plane that is offset relative to the first plane, and, preferably, offset by an angle of about ninety degrees. The patent is related to the wire processing machines used for straightening coils or drums or

bundles of wires. This doesn't use belt like conveyer to feed the material to remove the bend. The watch hands are passed through only one roller for bend removal, but in case or wire it passes through several set of rollers to remove the bend in both axis.
[005]Publication No W09729871 relates to straightening elongate material, the apparatus comprising at least one rotary member, guide means mounted on the rotary member and operable to guide the wire through the rotary member, as the latter rotates, along a path the end regions of which are substantially coaxial with the axis of rotation of the rotary member, the guide means having deflection means which comprise an engagement member for engaging the wire to deflect it away from said axis of rotation as it travels along said path, wherein the engagement member is rotatable relative to the rotary member about the axis of rotation of the latter, or an axis substantially parallel to the portion of the path at the engagement member.
[006]Patent No US5676010 relates to wire straightening device having an inlet and an outlet for removing stresses in a wire and straightening the wire prior to feeding it into a machine for processing. The device includes a frame having a wire path along which the wire is fed from an inlet, through an outlet. A first set of spaced apart rollers are journaled for rotation on a first member and arranged on a first side of and adjacent to the wire path. A second set of spaced apart rollers are journaled for rotation on a second member and arranged on a second side of and adjacent to the wire path, the wire path being between the first and second sets of spaced rollers. The individual space between the rollers in the first set of rollers is relatively large near the inlet and relatively small near the outlet. The patent is related to the wire processing machines used for straightening coils or drums or bundles of wires. This doesn't use belt like conveyer to feed the material to

remove the bend. The watch hands are passed through only one roller for bend removal, but in case or wire it passes through several set of rollers to remove the bend in both axis.
[007]Patent No US5768930 relates to straightening device for wire, multiple-wire or tubular material with straightening rollers in two planes that are essentially parallel to the running direction of the material. The rollers are arranged vertical to the material and the rollers are parallel to, but offset from each other. These straightening rollers are adapted to be adjusted singly or severally together toward and away from the material. At least one of the rollers is a height-adjustable straightening roller.
[008]Patent No US8763436 relates to a wire straightener, comprising a wire feed path, a first set of rollers disposed in a first plane along the wire feed path, a second set of rollers disposed in a second plane along the wire feed path, the first and second planes being substantially perpendicular to one another, a first motor operable to adjust a position of at least one of the rollers of the first set of rollers when actuated, and a second motor operable to adjust a position of at least one of the rollers of the second set of rollers when actuated. This patent uses automatic servo movements to adjust the bend. It doesn't use belt like conveyer to feed the material to remove the bend. The bend removal is done in 2 axis.
[009]Patent No US7276073 relates to a straightening tool for straightening an elongate angled member of an angled tissue cutting instrument in which the elongate angled member has a proximal length portion and an initial bend connecting the proximal length portion to a distal length portion extending from the bend to a distal end. The straightening tool comprises a positioning block

i'

attached to a handle, an unbending channel in the positioning block and a guide template corresponding to the unbending channel. The unbending channel is configured to effect straightening of the elongate angled member. The guide template comprises a guide slot disposed along an external wall of the positioning block and having a longitudinal profile corresponding to the longitudinal profile of a forward aspect of the elongate angled member. This patent is used to bend the tip of a tissue cutting instrument to a certain angle and straighten it. It doesn't use belt like conveyer to feed the material to remove the bend. There is no rollers involved in above mentioned patent.
[010]Patent No US6634392 relates to a pin straightening tool which can be used to straighten bent connector pins and which can also be used to ensure that all the connector pins of an electronic module are straight and concentrically located in the connector receptacle before the plugs are placed therein. This patent doesn't use belt like conveyer to feed the material and remove the bend. There is no rollers involved in above mentioned patent.
[011]Hence in the conventional system, the bent in the hand was checked manually and was rejected even if there was a slight bent. Hence rejection was high. Therefore a system is required which can straighten the bent and reduce the rejection.
[012]To overcome the limitations of the above cited prior arts, present invention aims to provide a system and method for correction of any bend in the watch hands.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[017]It is to be noted, however, that the appended drawings illustrate only typical embodiments of this invention and are therefore not to be considered for limiting of its scope, for the invention may admit to other equally effective embodiments.
[018]Figure 1 shows the system according to the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTIONS
[019]Accordingly, the present invention relates to a system and method for correction of any bend in the watch hands.
[020]Referring to the figure 1, the system according to the present invention consists of horizontal plate X with a vertically erect plate Y on top, six rollers (A, B, C, D, E and F) attached to the vertical plate Y, a low rpm motor 1, a belt 2 running on the rollers characterized in that the rollers have ball bearings inside

them to control the rotational movement wherein the roller D, E, C in a straight line at the base, a motor 1 with a toggle switch is provided to start the roller, roller B is above (at 90degree) the roller C, and the roller A is above (at 90degree) the roller D, conveyor belt 2 is over the roller A, B, C, D, E which are driven by the motor 1 and the sixth roller F is provided above the belt which is controlled by the pressure applied by screw 3.
[021]There is a flat horizontal plate with a vertically erect plate on top. 6 rollers (A, B, C, D, E and F) are attached to the vertical plate. There is a belt running on the rollers. The rollers on the four corners are labeled A, B,C and D. The Rollers have ball bearings inside them to control the rotational movement. There are two rollers labeled E (bottom) and F (Top). The two rollers on the bottom corners are adjustable horizontally. The other four are adjustable vertically. When the belt is affixed on the machine, all rollers need to be adjusted.
[022]For correction of any bend in the watch hands, before starting the process, roller (E) (Bottom) is adjusted to adjust belt tension. Once the 5 rollers are adjusted, the process begins and they are usually not adjusted any more for the specific lot. Only the 6th roller (F) is adjusted to control the pressure on the hand (this varies depending on the bend to be removed.) Roller (F) is adjusted by a screw on top of the vertical plate. The roller assembly is spring loaded. The other rollers are simply adjusted with a screw on the otherside of the plate. No spring is needed in that case. The roller rotates due to a low RPM motor fixed on to roller (C). Motor comes with a toggle switch which once switched ON stays ON. The bent hands are placed manually on the belt, just above roller (A). The hands are placed with the bend protruding upwards. The hands should always be placed straight (parallel to the belt). Then the hand goes under the roller (F) and comes into contact with it and is pressed by it to remove any bend. The roller (F) is coated with anti scratch polish to avoid scratches. The hand then moves on to the roller (B), which is designed to drop the hand into a collection box fixed next to the roller (C). The pressure adjusted for roller (F) is based on the bend of the

hands. Some watch hand lots create a bend in all hands due to the delicate profile. So the entire lot needs to go through this process. The team is already aware of the degree of bend created for a lot and they adjust the roller (F) accordingly. Later the hands are inspected with a separate device.
[023]Numerous modifications and adaptations of the system of the present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art and thus it is intended by the appended claims to cover all such modifications and adaptations which fall within the true spirit and scope of this invention.
