A System And Method For Disaster Map Generation
Abstract: A system and method for disaster map generation to facilitate evacuation from a building is disclosed. The system (100) includes a set of heat sensors (105) and a set of location reference sensors (110) disposed at different locations in the building. The set of location reference sensors (110) transmits signals to the set of heat sensors (105) that sense heat. A processor (115) is connected to both sets of sensors (105, 110) to receive generated by the sensors (105, 110) and generate a disaster map which is sent to an output unit (120). The generated disaster map is accurate as realistic fire values are obtaining by localizing set of heat sensors (105) and interpolating data available from the set of heat sensors (105). Further, the disaster map is dynamically updated to reflect the current state of building to facilitate the rescue personnel during the evacuation of a building FIG. 1
