Abstract: A system and method for expediting the accomplishments of sustainable development goals [0036] The present invention relates to a system (100) and method (200) for expediting the accomplishments of sustainable development goals pertaining to different domains. The system (100) comprises a user-interface device (101) to provide a platform for an entity to participate and proactively achieve sustainable development goals. Further, the system (100) comprises a contextual module (104) for enabling the entity to establish sustainable development goal targets pertinent to one or more domains, thereby propagating the sustainable development goal targets to peer entities. The sustainable development goal targets of the entity are validated in the validating module (106). Furthermore, an impact assessment module (107) computes sustainable development goal targets for each corresponding domain discretely, thereby generating comprehensive goal points for sustainable development goals accomplished by the entity, that are transformed into rewards for the entity to avail. 1. A system (100) for expediting the accomplishments of sustainable development goals pertaining to different domains, the system (100) comprising:
a. a user-interface device (101) to provide a platform for an entity to proactively achieve sustainable development goal targets;
b. a database (102) to store information pertaining to the progression in accomplishing the sustainable development goal targets, wherein the database (102) stores information relating to the status quo of sustainable development goal targets associated with one or more domains;
c. a processing unit (103) to process and execute a set of pre-defined tasks provided in:
i. a contextual module (104) for enabling the entity to establish sustainable development goal targets pertinent to one or more domains;
ii. a propagation module (105) for propagating sustainable development goal targets associated with one or more domains to one or more interested entities;
iii. a validating module (106) for evaluating a pre-defined set of data provided by the entity in connection with the sustainable development goals, wherein the validating module (106) matches the pre-defined set of data provided by the entity against the goal accomplishing criteria defined in the contextual module (104);
iv. an impact assessment module (107) for analyzing and estimating goal accomplishment criteria associated with a plurality of domains of one or more users, wherein the impact assessment module (107) computes sustainable development goal targets for each corresponding domain discretely;
v. a point proliferating module (108) for generating comprehensive points for sustainable development goals of the entity by compiling sustainable development goal points of the corresponding domain estimated by the impact assessment module (107);
d. a display unit (109) to display the notification corresponding to the accomplishment of sustainable development goal targets by the entity on a user-interface device (101), wherein the display unit (109) displays the points generated in the point proliferating module (108) for the corresponding sustainable development goal targets accomplished by the entity.
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the contextual module (104) receives information from a designated entity through a transceiver medium pertaining to the endeavors of the entity in accomplishing the sustainable development goal targets.
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the propagation module (105) enables an entity to recommend other entities to participate in the sustainable development goal targets.
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the impact assessment module (107) analyzes the endeavors of the entity in attaining goal targets in the corresponding domain.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the impact assessment module (107) assigns sustainable development goal points to the entity in case the recommended entity accepts the invitation propagated by the said entity.
6. A method (200) for expediting the accomplishments of sustainable development goals pertaining to different domains, the method (200) comprising the steps of:
a. developing sustainable development goal targets for a plurality of domains discretely by the contextual module (104), wherein the contextual module (104) allocates a target scale for each criteria in one or more domains;
b. propagating sustainable development goal targets by the propagation module (105) to the interested entities participating in sustainable development goals, wherein the propagation module (105) enables one or more entities to appropriate a goal by providing a pre-defined set of data for authentication of goal accomplishments by the entity;
c. evaluating a pre-defined set of data provided by the entity by mapping the pre-defined set of data with the goal accomplishing criteria;
d. assigning a score based pattern discretely in the validating module (106) for the goals accomplished by the entity in a plurality of domains;
e. analyzing and computing sustainable development goal scores of the entity for each corresponding domain discretely by the impact assessment module (107), wherein the impact assessment module (107) scrutinizes the resolution of the entity in accomplishing sustainable development goal targets and in propagating the sustainable development goal targets to other entities;
f. generating comprehensive points in the point proliferating module (108) for sustainable development goal targets accomplished in each domain by the entity by compiling an array of sustainable development goal points estimated by the impact assessment module (107), wherein;
i. the point proliferating module (108) transmits a fraction of sustainable development goal points acquired in discrete domains by the entity to the referral entity which recommended the contemporary entity to employ sustainable development goal targets;
ii. the point proliferating module (108) transforms the sustainable development goal points into rewards for the entity, wherein the system (100) enables the entity to avail rewards corresponding to the points earned by the entity;
g. notifying one or more entities concerning the sustainable development points earned subsequent to the successful accomplishment of the sustainable development goal targets.
h. transmitting data from the point proliferating module (108) to the contextual module (104) pertaining to the status of the points acquired for the sustainable development goals by the entity, wherein the point proliferating module (108) transmits key analytics with respect to the endeavors in attaining sustainable development goals.
7. A method (200) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the contextual module (104) enables a designated entity to delineate goal accomplishment criteria prior to the accomplishment of sustainable development goals by the entity.

More particularly, the present invention relates to a system to attract and motivate people to accelerate the progress in attaining sustainable development goals.
Background of the invention
[003] The basic fundamental needs of human beings which are imperative across the world are clean water, good health, social well-being, quality education, no poverty, economic growth, sustainable societies, clean environment and so on. It is estimated that nearly 10 percent of world’s population live below the poverty line laid down by the World Bank. In order to eradicate poverty, hunger, poor hygiene etc, the United Nations General Assembly formulated a task which is known as Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals constitute 17 interlinked global goals which include no poverty, quality education, zero hunger, gender equality, climate action etc, that are intended to be achieved by the year 2030. Over the years, there has been an insignificant progress in attaining Sustainable Development Goals across the globe and the aim of accomplishing goals within the given time frame appears inconceivable, since the contribution or involvement of people in Sustainable Development Goals is acutely minimal. Hence there is a need to appeal and encourage a predominant part of the population to participate in attaining Sustainable Development Goals.
[004] In recent years, the transformation in web-based portals and communicating applications may be attributed to a major advancement in the field of information technology which has prompted people to rely on web-based communication portals in every walk of life. Information technology provides a medium such as a social networking system for users across the globe to connect, communicate, share multi-media information and so on. In the recent years, there has been an intense surge in people using computer technologies and web based portals for communication and other purposes. A recent study by Hootsuite Digital revealed that around 1.3 million new users joined social media every day and each user spends around 3 hours a day on average.
[005] There is a need for a determined approach to expedite the accomplishments of Sustainable Development Goals by employing modern technology. Further, an inventive course of action is needed to attract a predominant part of the people and encourage them to continue pursuing Sustainable Development Goals. The progress in accomplishments of Sustainable Development Goals may be ameliorated by utilizing contemporary virtual platforms and web-based portals, where people are predominantly active. However, the existing technologies fail to provide such a system where a large portion of people are attracted to proactively participate in achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
[006] The US Patent Application No. US10096033B2 relates to a technique, method, apparatus, and a system to provide educational related, integrated social networking, real time geospatial mapping, geo-target location-based technologies which include GPS, GIS and multiple points of interest, receiving current location of user's electronic or mobile device and multiple points of interest. The system provides a cloud-type configuration for storing and handling user data across multiple enterprises, thereby generating user behavior data and ad links, promotions which may be social/geo/promo links on a website for educational related products, goods, and/or services, that includes educational related social, geo or promo data sets for user customized visual displays. Further Visual display provides 3D map presentations with correlated or related broad or alternative categories of social, geo or promo links to be displayed with web page content for view and interaction by an end user.
[007] The US Patent Application No. US10535022B1 discloses a sustainable business development management system and method. The system and method are provided for businesses enterprises to provide a comprehensive understanding of their sustainability goals, projects, and metrics including the environmental and societal impacts of their business with the ability to manage and report on these parameters in a way that makes sense for their business. The system is capable of communicating with a plurality of computing devices over a link about energy, water, and waste data of a business such as soft plastics, shipping material, recycling, compost and landfill data.
[008] However, most of the existing systems fail to render assistance to one or more individuals in attaining sustainable development goals within a specified timeframe. Hence, there is a need for a system to accelerate the process of attaining Sustainable Development Goals and intrigue more people towards accomplishing Sustainable Development Goals in optimal time.
Summary of the invention
[009] The present invention relates to a system and method for expediting the accomplishments of sustainable development goals pertaining to different domains such as attaining good health, quality education, economic and social wellbeing, eradication of poverty, clean water, sanitation and so on. The system comprises a user-interface device to provide a platform for an entity which may be an organization or an individual to achieve sustainable development goals associated with one or more domains in a pre-defined short time span. The system enables an entity to establish pre-defined set of sustainable development goal targets pertinent to one or more domains in a contextual module, thereby authorizing the accomplishment of sustainable development goal targets by one or more designated entities. Further, the sustainable development goal targets are propagated to one or more interested entities through a propagation module, thereby facilitating one or more entities to provide a pre-defined set of data pertaining to the features of goal accomplishments.

A comprehensive goal point is generated in the point proliferating module by compiling an array of sustainable development goal points estimated by the impact assessment module. Additionally, the sustainable development goal points are transformed into rewards in the point proliferating module for the goals accomplished by the entity, wherein the system enables the entity to avail rewards corresponding to the points earned by the entity.

Moreover, the present invention may be employed by an individual, a company, government schemes, educational institutions and so on, which enables one or more users to proactively participate and achieve pre-defined set of targets in optimal time with a hassle-free experience. The present invention is not limited to the above mentioned applications and may exhibit utility in a plurality of applications which entails task completion.

For example, the contextual module (104) receives feedback data persistently from the user and the designated entity, thereby upgrading the goal targets, optimizing the estimated value, effort and benefits from attaining goal targets.
