5 DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
[002] Conventionally, the stamp of a watch-prepared pig is stamped with two crank
presses, one stamping die is set and stamping is performed, and the other is set with
a NO ring and a NO code is set. I was embossing. [Problem to be Solved by the
Invention Objective] ln the conventional case, two workers spend a lot of man-
10 hours to operate each press and work, and a considerable amount of man-hour is
required for the setup work before starting the work. Needed. Further, in the case
of a mechanical press, since the bottom dead center is determined, the bottom dead
center of the press must be adjusted each time the thickness of the back pig is varied
in the back pig raw m~terial or polishing work before stamping. However, there is
15 a disadvantage that workability is poor.
[003] Reference may be made to the following:
[004] Pub! ication No. JPS621 01487 relates to a stamping die and a work guide plate
and positioning and fixing thereof in a rotating direction to be performed in a single
stroke and alleviate a preparing operation for setting the die, by a method wherein
20 when a back case is indexed directly below a cylinder through rotation of a rotary
table, a stamping die and a NO ring are lowered by a cylinder pressure to
simultaneously die-stamp a model mark and a NO code. Constitution: On an index
rotary table 11 capable of indexing at trisected positions, three work guide plate
fixing rings 9 are screwed to the table at positions angularly spaced by 120 deg.
25 each, and a work guide plate 10 is thrown into a central part of each of the rings 9
on the basis of the inside diameter of the ring. A back base is set on each of the
work guide plates .

5 [024] In order to overcome above listed prior art, the present invention aims to
provide to a system and method for index manufacturing using stamping and
milling.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[025] The principal object of the present invention is to provide to a system and
10 method for index manufacturing using stamping and milling.
[026) Another object of the present invention is to provide easy and cost effective
method of index manufacturing.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[027] The present invention relates to a system and method for index manufacturing
15 using stamping and milling. A stamping tool for index creation particularly for
embossing comprises groove/ gap and press it down so indexes comes out. The tool
made is of steel which is used to create the reverse copy of the steel on the brass
disc. This tool is mounted of 60 tonnes press for generating the required power to
get the impression of the tool onto the brass. As a resultant the brass disc is the used
20 for next process of fi !ling the plastic material and generating the feet by milling.
Then plastic material is filled on the stamped discs so that index may not drown
with coolant. The diamond tool is such that it gets the desired output after milling
is a cylindrical material left out from the machined part known as feet of the
index/component, for achieving that geometry of the diamond tool is made that the
25 cutting diamond is offset from the axis of the rotation ofthe tool, where the distance
of the offset is exactly half of the diameter of the feet required in the drawing to
create the feet by rotating the tool.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
[0351 The present invention provides a system and method for index manufacturing
15 using stamping and milling. Figure 1 shows a stamping tool for index creation
particularly for embossing comprises groove/ gap and presses it down so indexes
comes out. The tool made is of steel which is used to create the reverse copy of the
steel on the brass disc (fig 2). This tool is mounted of60 tonnes press for generating
the required power to get the impression of the tool onto the brass. As a resultant
20 the brass disc is the used for next process of filling the plastic material and
generating the feet by milling. Then plastic material is filled on the stamped discs
so that index may not drown with coolant (fig 3). The diamond tool is such that it
gets the desired output after milling is a cylindrical material left out from the
machined part known as feet of the index/component, for achieving that geometry
25 of the diamond tool is made that the cutting diamond is offset from the axis of the
rotation of the tool, where the distance of the offset is exactly half of the diameter
of the feet required in the drawing to create the feet by rotating the tool (fig 4, 5 and
6).
[036] In the present invention provides better process to make drafted images as
lesser milling involved to manufacture indexes as compared to conventional milling
5 method. Thus machining time is saved by 40%.
