[001] The present invention relates to the field of index of watch dial. The present invention in particular relates to a system and method for piercing and creating holes on watch dial
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
[002] The manufacture of dials with punched inlay indexes has been known for a long time. Most of the methods of manufacturing this type of dial have the drawback that the indexes are fixed onto the dial plate either before or after finishing and faceting, by means of small lugs and/or glue, which is a costly and delicate operation.
[003] Reference may be made to the following:
[004] Publication No US543628A relates to fastening of dials to watch-movements. Holes 61 are made through the centers of the bases of said recesses for the feet on the dial plate. Each recess 1) receives a spring-clip in the form of a circular strip e of resilient metal, which is sprung into the groove 0 and retained thereby. Said strip is formed with in turned ends f, which confront each other, with a narrow space between them. These in turned ends form spring-jaws extending over the hole (I, and the resiliency of the metal strip of which they are a part resists movement of said jaws away from each other.
[005] Publication No US2160676A relates to a punch which carries its own stripper plate or button so that in a group of punches for instance, instead of having an apertured plate common to the group and supported by the head of the-,press with which the punch set is associated, each punch carries its own stripper and thus the punches may be readily removed from the retainer without disturbing the remainder projecting the stripper carried by the punch and independently engageable with the face of the retainer in which the punch is held.
[006] Publication No CN105834308A relates to a punch combination device. Two clamping wings are arranged at the middle part of the punch combination device, are heavy, and can be more stable with a punching machine; clamping grooves are formed in the two clamping wings, and are fixedly clamped with the punching machine for more stable connection; upward barbs are arranged in the clamping grooves; the barbs are connected with hanging hooks in the punching machine to guarantee the punch combination device to reduce oscillation and to be better in punching effect; meanwhile, an information marking unit is arranged on a shell, and is provided with time and model numbers of the punch combination device for tracing the same batch of products; and i f the same batch of products generates problems, the quality tracing can be performed, and the quality of punched products is guaranteed.
[007] Publication No US10265756B2 relates to a punch assembly for a turret-type punch press includes an outer guide sleeve having an inner bore in which a punch shank fits for reciprocating but not rotating movement. The punch shank has a concentric, downward opening formed in a lower end in which is received a head portion of an insert that has a punch point formed on it. Built into the shank is a latching mechanism for releasable wedging and thereby securing the insert to the lower end of the shank.
[008| Publication No US2782855A relates to a vibratory or rattle type pneumatic hammer having a two-stage control or throttle, and an elongate J-shaped yoke attached thereto and adapted to receive a cooperating pair of male and female punching dies. The male die assembly has an elongate pilot pin which is inserted in a pre-formed pilot or bolt hole in the part and which insures that the punched holes will be located with respect to the bolt hole with positive dimensional accuracy.
[009] Publication No US2562267A relates to a compact punching tool that will do the same work of more complicated punches.
[010] Patent No. EP0768280B1 relates to a die for press-molding glass optical elements having high melting points or temperatures and various shapes repeatedly.
[Oil] Publication No. GB2040776 relates to the dial plate is placed on the matrix 5 of a stamp. A plate of a thickness greater than the thickness of the dial plate is placed on the dial plate. A section in the shape of an index is cut with a single stroke from the plate and the dial plate, with at least one punch of the stamp, in such a way that the section cut from the plate is punched into the dial plate so as to form a punched inlay index.
0 [012] Patent No. US364379 relates to a new and useful improvement in machines for punching holes in plates, angles, and other bars or shapes. The method usually employed for such work, templets are made giving the position of all the holes to be punched in each piece, and from these templets, when laid on the separate pieces, the centers of the holes are marked on the piece and the holes afterward
5 punched by machines punching a single hole at a time, the center mark for each hole being brought as near as may be under the center of the punch. Sometimes, but more rarely, the holes are punched by machines provided with automatic spacing devices which move the piece to be punched a certain distance, as required, by mechanical means. Both these methods are liable to inaccuracies
3 from various causes, such as inexact adjusting of the piece in the first method, or errors of operation by the workman in the second, and, as a consequence, when the several parts intended to be riveted together are assembled in position, it usually occurs that the holes in the various pieces do not perfectly match, thus causing expense in reaming and variations in the size of the reamed holes.
5 [013] Patent No. US3646653 relates to a depression in the die is filled with a liquid or pasty substance which supports the dial blank. A descending punch pushes the blank part way into the depression causing the substance of the cushion to force the blank into the punch hollows corresponding to the symbols to be
raised. The die depression is surrounded by an upstanding rim that penetrates part way into the blank when the latter is pressed by the punch.
[014J Patent No. US2390600 relates to punch press mechanisms and more particularly to a. dial feed for use in a punch press. The edge of the dial plate will hold the latch depressed until the next notch. Comes into alignment with the latch. Rotation will be imparted to the dial plate on the upstroke of the press head due to the fact that rotation will be imparted by the rod to the collar to cause it to rotate or oscillate counterclockwise back to its original position. When the collar is rotated counterclockwise, the roller bearing members and will be wedged between the surfaces of the recesses and the outer surface of the extension and, accordingly, the sleeve will be rotated counterclockwise.
[015] Patent No. US3451291 relates to a manual indexing mechanism for a dial feed mechanism which is operative to disconnect the dial feed from the press drive. The mechanism includes timing means which assure the proper timed relationship when the dial feed is re-connected to the press drive.
[016] Patent No. US 1418474 relates to improvements in punches, and the primary object in view is the provision of means for facilitating accurate placing of the punch in a predetermined location. With respect to the article to be perforated. The stop or flange which extends across the lower jaw is preferably tapered in width toward its free end to form a screw-driver adapted to engage in the kerfs of screws or in the kerf of the die of the punch. , It is thus seen that the gauge plate is adapted not only for quick adjustment to regulate the positioning of the work between the jaws of the punch, but is also peculiarly constructed to serve as a means for adjusting and regulating the various movable parts of the punch.
[017| Publication No. JPS5879181 relates to a highly accurate and efficient working by design molding an index material with an embossing after a polishing such as buffing or chemical polishing is conducted. Constitution: The top surface of material is buffed 6, rinsed with a rinsing machine and pressed intensely between a punch 8 and a die. Then, the outline thereof is trimmed with a pair of
tools of trimming dies and a finishing is performed by plating, coloring and the like.
[018| Publication No. CN102218677 relates to a punch, comprising a base, an upper die, a lower die, a driving mechanism, a braking system, a safety protection mechanism, an index dial, an induction index hand, an induction trigger and a controller, wherein the driving mechanism is mechanically connected with the upper die and used for driving the upper die to move relative to the lower die so as to realize blanking of a base material to be processed; the brake system is mechanically connected with the driving mechanism and used for enabling the driving mechanism to stop driving the upper die when triggered; the safety protection mechanism is used for triggering the brake system when an object is detected between the upper die and the lower die; the index dial is arranged on the base and is provided with a plurality of scales distributed in equal angle relative to the center of the index dial.
[019| Publication No. CN201989043 relates to a punch former, which comprises an eccentric shaft. The front end of the eccentric shaft is in a strip shape; two sides of the strip long side are conical surfaces; a cylindrical protrusion is also arranged at one strip end; the eccentric shaft sequentially penetrates into shaft holes of a facial disc, a dial, a rocker arm and a transverse moving controller; an index gear is arranged at the small end of the facial disc in the outer circumference direction; the facial disc, the index gear and the dial are fixedly connected together through bolts; bodies are arranged on the outer circumferences of the facial disc, the index gear and the dial; a rotating disc is arranged on the large end side of the facial disc; a straight groove is formed in the diameter direction of the center of the rotating disk; and a V-shaped block is fixed at the front end of the rotating disc through bolts.
[020] The article entitled "Indexing dial tables" talks about the dial indexers provide the simplest means of fixture transport between assembly and test stations. A machine built around a dial indexer can be synchronous or
asynchronous depending on process and throughput requirements. Other considerations include whether it is to operate as a semi-automatic or fully automatic machine drive selection. Dial fixture motion can be powered directly by a servo motor or a fixed speed motor through a speed reducer and cam controlled 5 indexer. For some applications, a servo motor can be used to provide specialized number of rotation increments or greater flexibility.
