The present invention relates generally to networking and more specifically to a 5 method for providing a collaborative online platform to connect users interested in sports and corresponding system thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The history of sports is filled with the names of legends that have proved their 10 knack at various international stages. They have not only performed well in the recognized sports but also brought their traditional sports into limelight that are now considered as significant sports at international competitions such as Olympics and World Championships. In spite of all this, sportspersons are somewhere lagging due to some facts summarized below: 15
1. In many places, sports are not considered as the main career stream.
2. People do not have proper knowledge about various sports played all around the world and hence play or participate in only handful of sports that they know.
3. People do not get much opportunity to advance in their sports of concern 20 due to the absence of proper guidance and services that need to be provided.
4. Only a few get the opportunity to train in sports and handful of them grab the attention as many of them didn’t get the chance to perform at recognised sports stages or they have to quit their passion in lack of proper guidance and financial crisis. 25
5. There are other people and associations as well, that are affiliated with sports such as coaches, physiotherapists, athlete managers, clubs, academies, and other entities that also effort for sports but don’t get their deserving hype.
6. There is somewhere lack of interconnectivity amongst these sportspersons and entities due to which they all suffer in their field such as, athletes don’t get 30 proper guidance from professional coaches, don’t get proper treatment from efficient physiotherapists, and don’t get proper chance to highlight their potentials
3
in lack of good sports entities that may promote them in better way. Coaches are not getting proper opportunities and jobs to train athletes and to work for fine sports associations with whom they can excel the field of sports. Sports associations are not getting skilled coaches and talented players, and hence fail to perform well at recognised sports competitions. 5
7. They all need to work together as a unit to overcome their deficiencies and to encourage sports in the nation that can be possible only by providing them a common platform where they all can connect with one another.
8. Together they can overcome all the obstructions that inhibit the nation to perform well at international sports stages. 10
9. Our invention provides all the sportspersons and associations a common technological platform to come together as a unit to aid one another for mutual development as well as development of sports.
