The present disclosure relates to the field of providing free of cost relevant content to users of Bluetooth enabled handheld devices.
DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED IN THE SPECIFICATION
The expression ‘handheld device’ used hereinafter in this specification refers to but is not limited to mobile phones, laptops, tablets, desktops, iPads, PDAs, notebooks, net books and the like.
This definition is in addition to those expressed in the art.

BACKGROUND
Nowadays Internet access over WiFi hotspots or by service providers is widespread. But, there are limited places that allow access to free-of-cost Internet or open WiFi’s. Additionally, the speed with which the data is transferred over the Internet may not be sufficient for some applications. This may prove to be annoying to the users as free-of-cost access to information on the move is limited. Further, when a user tries to access on his handheld device particular information pertaining to specific location of user’s interest (for example, show timing in a movie hall or stores/products available in a mall), the user is required to download and install applications specific to their areas of interest. This forces the user to install multiple applications on his handheld device which may be difficult to maintain.
Therefore, there is felt a need for a system that is capable of providing free-of-cost access to varied information without the need of installing multiple applications.

OBJECTS
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a system that is capable of providing free-of-cost access to varied information.
Another object of the present disclosure is to provide free-of-cost varied information related to specific locations on a user’s handheld device without downloading multiple applications.
Yet, another object of the present disclosure is to provide a user specific customization of specific location information based on user’s previous preferences.
Still, another object of the present disclosure is to provide real-time location information related to places of user’s interest.
Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a nearly accurate metrics on the brands, customer preferences for analytical purposes.
Other objects and advantages of the present disclosure will be more apparent from the following description when read in conjunction with the accompanying figures, which are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.

Referring to the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 illustrates the schematic of a system 100 for providing information on Bluetooth enabled handheld devices. The system 100 includes a plurality of Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 that have memory storage and are capable of receiving applications. These Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 also have displays in order to display information. The system 100 further includes a plurality of nodes 104 adapted to communicate with the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. These nodes 104 can be deployed in public places like Shopping complex, airports, railway stations in order to deliver the information requested by the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 right on their displays without any monetary charges. This eliminates cost of data transfer over 3G or other cost based data networks to push applications and location information to the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. The nodes 104 can also receive requests and user information from these Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. The system also includes a server 106 that communicates with the nodes 104 to receive user information and requests for location information and transmit applications and application updates, user authentication confirmation and the location information. The server 106 further includes a first repository 108 for storing user information received from the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 via the nodes 104. A second repository 110 is also present that stores specific location information, which might be useful to the users of the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. This specific location data that is stored in the second repository 110 includes data about various locations like airports, shopping complexes, food malls, restaurants etc. where the stored data can include real-time surveillance data, images, maps, available products, menus, pricing guides, shopping deals, reviews, schedules of movies, flights, railways etc., availability of items and the like. The server 106 also includes a receiver 112 which receives from the node the user information, a comparator 114 that compares this received user information with the user information stored in the first repository 108. During comparison if the user information is not present in the first repository or the user is using the system for the first time, a first editor 116 edits the first repository 108 to include the new user information. The first editor 116 can also delete and/or update the user information. The real-time information about specific locations is stored in a second editor 110 present in the server 106, this location information can be edited with a second editor 118 based on the real-time location information. A reader 120 present in the server 106 reads the requests received from the users of Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 via nodes 104. A first processor 122 processes these requests read by the reader 120 and compiles the requested location information from the second repository 110 and sends it to a transmitter 124. The transmitter 124 then transmits the requested location information to the nodes 104 to push the location information on the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. The system can also be configured to push advertisements onto the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. The server consists of a third repository 126 for the same. The third repository 126 pushes advertisements via nodes 104 onto the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 based on the locations of the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102. The server also includes a second processor 128 that can analyze a particular user for authentication with the help of user information from the first repository 108 and receive the corresponding location information from the second repository 110 to selectively provide the location information to the first processor 122 for transmitting to the Bluetooth enabled handheld device 102 of the authenticated user. The server 106 further includes a location selector 130 that receives from the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 via the nodes 104, requests for location information related to specific locations and compile the requested location information from the second repository 110 to transmit through the transmitter 124, the requested location information to the Bluetooth enabled handheld devices 102 via the nodes 104. The first repository 108 additionally stores historical data of previous requests made by the user and attach the stored historical data to the corresponding user in order to provide a customized experience to the user.
