Abstract: The system 100 is provided for the two-wheeler vehicle 124 of a fleet. The system 100 comprises, the first type of lock assembly 126, which comprises an electronic lock 104 having an actuator operated member 108. The member 108 held against a return spring 112. The actuator operable by a controller 122. The lock assembly 126 is characterized by a locking element 102, and a slot 106 to receive the locking element 102. The member 108 operatively moved to lock and release the locking element 102 from the slot 106. The system 100 also comprises a cloud server 132, which is used in conjunction with a communication device 128. The system 100 fulfills the need of securing the helmet 110 to the vehicle 124 so as to prevent the helmet 110 from being stolen during temporary absence of the user. Figure 1
1. A system (100) to lock a helmet (110) to a two-wheeler vehicle (124), said
system (100) comprises a lock assembly (126) comprising:
an electronic lock (104) having an actuator operated member (108), said member (108) held against a return spring (112), and said actuator operable by a controller (122), said lock assembly (126)
characterized by
a locking element (102), and
a slot (106) to receive said locking element (102), said member (108) operatively moved to lock and release said locking element (102) from said slot (106).
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said locking element (102) is fit to any one of said helmet (110) and said vehicle (124), and said electronic lock (104) is fit to other of said helmet (110) and said vehicle (124), said electronic lock (104) comprises said slot (106).
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said slot (106) is fit to any one of said helmet (110) and said vehicle (124), and said electronic lock (104) is fit to other of said helmet (110) and said vehicle (124), said electronic lock (104) comprises said locking element (102).
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprises a cloud server (132) in wireless communication with said controller (122), said cloud server (132) configured to
authenticate a user, and
transmit an unlock signal to said controller (122) to unlock said
helmet (110).
5. An electronic lock (104) to lock a helmet (110) on a two-wheeler vehicle
(124), said electronic lock (104) comprises:
an actuator operated member (108), said member (108) held against a return spring (112), and said actuator operable by a controller (122),
characterized by
any one of a slot (106) and a locking element (102), said member (108) operable in engagement with any one of said slot (106) and said locking element (102) to enable lock and release of said helmet (110).
6. The electronic lock (104) as claimed in claim 5, wherein said electronic lock (104) is fit to any one of said helmet (110) and said vehicle (124).
7. The electronic lock (104) as claimed in claim 5, wherein said controller (122) configured to operate said member (108) through said actuator upon receiving an authentication signal from a cloud server (132).
8. The electronic lock (104) as claimed in claim 5, wherein
when said slot (106) is provided in said electronic lock (104), said member (108) operated to move in and out of said slot (106) to lock and release said locking element (102), wherein said locking element (102) is external to said electronic lock (104); and
when said locking element (102) is provided in said electronic lock (104), said member (108) operated to move said locking element (102) in and out of said slot (106), wherein said slot (106) is external to said electronic lock (104).
9. A locking element (102) for an electronic lock (104) to lock a helmet (110)
to a two-wheeler vehicle (124), characterized by
said locking element (102) mountable to any one of said helmet (110) and said two-wheeler vehicle (124) to engage with a slot (106) provided in other of said helmet (110) and said two-wheeler vehicle
(124), said locking element (102) mountable through any one of a flexible cable (118), a bracket (204) and a pivot.
10. A method of releasing a helmet (110) on a two-wheeler vehicle (124), said method comprising the steps of:
receiving, by a cloud server (132), an unlock request from a
communication device (128) of a user;
authenticating said user by said cloud server (132), and
sending an unlock signal to a controller (122) of an electronic lock
(104), said controller (122) unlocks said helmet (110) upon receiving
said unlock signal.
