Mobile phone users are growing rapidly around the world. About 125 million users have adapted to use the mobile phone in the past 12 months. The rate of growth for the use of mobile phones is estimated to be 2.5% for the current year. The majority of the world's population has access to the internet and, according to the United Nations, approximately 85 percent have access to a mobile phone. This growth in mobile and access to the internet is opening up mobile application development based on various models that provide services.
It is observed that the average mobile phone user has 30 plus applications on their phone. Around 57% of internet data usage comes from mobile applications only. There has been revenue growth due to the use of mobile applications, this growth has led to an increase in content, products and services being created, and a number of service providers are also on the rise. In this circumstance, mobile applications are expected to generate $189 billion in revenue by 2020.
Also, COVID-19 created a situation where physical contact services were suspended for a considerable amount of time and users had to rely on the comments to deploy services on virtual platforms. Due to lockdown, individuals need the day-to-day service, and its importance was highlighted. It was felt that the professionals from various niches and people skilled in various hobbies missed out on opportunities due to a lack of one on one interaction.
The system and process help its users to connect and communicate with the people of preferred activities. This would encourage establishing a network of preferred activity users and provide users with authentic service provider information. Also, this invention will assist its users by finding the like-interested people by providing an interactive platform in various formats.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present system and process illustrate the invention wherein the user creates a profile which can be either made public, private and they are allowed to choose four interest areas which then are incorporated in their profiles. The invention focuses on building and mapping preferred activity users. It caters to the growing need of an individual to manage their day to day affair and pursue their interest as well. The process introduces a unique provision where the user can allow or ignore the requests from other users. On the bases of Instagram and Spotify, and other social media account dealing with utilities such as tattoo making, bartending, baking, Music, beverage making, relocation services et al. the users can find like-interested people and connect to map and analyses. Also, the user can find activities from the nearby tab as well. The process will use geolocation and age for the effective functioning of the process. Users can mark themselves as the public who holds expertise in any activity. The details with respect to the process are further disclosed in the below-mentioned one or more key elements. Additionally, users that mark themselves as the public will be listed in the NearBy User Tab. Accordingly, Figure 1 illustrates an operational flow of input of basic information required for login and registration of the user. At operation 100, a user may log into the application and register with the system, may be identified and authenticated using techniques like phone number input (101), Email address verification (102), followed by Integration of Instagram and Spotify accounts with the system (103 & 104) and may enable the location (GPS) automatically/ manually (105) and select activities (106). The operation 106 has been explained in detail in Figure 6. After uploading the picture (107) under two profile options (107A and 107 B), the user may request to join.
At operation 100, the user is given an option to login as a guest (110) or to the input phone number (101) for embedded OTP verification and then proceed to input and verify email address (102) to facilitate the data sync, which is followed by permission to integrate Spotify account (103) and Instagram account (104) with the system. The system uses geolocation (105) for its operations, explained in figures later.
At operation 106, the user is allowed to select four activities of his/ her interest. The user can deny then be directed to operation 106A, where the system shows activities based on his geolocation or show activities based on his/ her age (106B) or Show activities that are marked public (106C). If the user selects the interest activities, then operation 107 is triggered where the user can upload their picture either in private (107B) or public (107C) mode.
After operation 107, the user is directed to operation 108, which is a request to join. Operation 108 is explained in detail in figure 5.
Figure 2 illustrates an operational flow of input when the user Sign In without a password. At operation 109, a user can sign in and either enter the password (109 A) or select operation 109 B, which is signing in without a password that will trigger operation 109 C, where the user has to input the registered phone number. At operation 109 D, the functionally embedded OTP feature will be activated and will direct the user to operation 108 that has been explained in detail in Figure 5.
Figure 4 illustrates an operational flow of an implementation of the post-approval by the host. The user is termed as host/ initiator when the system switches to the post creation (108) or any such related activity. At operation 115, the user/host/initiator shares a post that triggers operation 116 that is to receive a request from other users /requestors to see the post. At operation 116, the host/initiator, after receiving the request (116), can see all the information of the requestor but not vice versa as per the algorithmic mapping of the system. The host/initiator is given an option to validate the (116A) request, which will trigger operation 117 or directs the user to operation 108. If the user validates, then operation 117 is triggered, which is explained above with reference to operation 115.
Figure 5 illustrates the algorithmic flow, which is followed by the post creation. Operation 108 finds mention in Figures 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, respectively. At operation 108, the user is directed towards post creation (118). At this operation, the user is given the option to show posts in three categories. The first category is where the post is visible to an individual only; the second is where the post is visible to many but limited by geolocation or age; and the third is when the post is visible to users whose data is not stored with the system. Users can either select operation 106, which is explained in figure 6 or can select operation 119, where they can create new posts and activities. Also, the user history is saved by the system when operation 118 is triggered.
At operation 120, the user can select from the sub-activities explained in detail under figure 6. After operation 120, operation 121 is triggered where the user is asked to input the date, time and link of the activity to be posted. The user can schedule the activity in the device calendar at operation 123. At operation 124, a notification is sent to the host and the requestor of the activity.
Figure 6 illustrates the preferred activity options given. The system generates the preferred activity options at operation 106. The users are directed to choose any four options.
