Abstract: ABSTRACT Present disclosure discloses a system (200) for determining at least one medical parameter of a subject. The system (200) includes a base (1) and a robot (100) fixed to the base (1). The robot (100) includes at least one robotic arm (2) extending from the base (1) and adapted to displace relative to the base (1). Further, at least one end effector (4) is connected to the at least one robotic arm (2) and a plurality of modules are coupled to the at least one end effector (4). Each of the plurality of modules are adapted to accommodate at least one device. The at least one device is displaced by one of the at least one end effector (4) and the at least one robotic arm (2), relative to the subject for determining the at least one medical parameter of the subject without being in close proximity to the subject.
We Claim:
1. A system (200) for determining at least one medical parameter of a subject, the system
(200) comprising:
a base (1);
a robot (100) fixed to the base (1), the robot (100) comprising:
at least one robotic arm (2) extending from the base (1) and adapted to
displace relative to the base (1);
at least one end effector (4) connected to the at least one robotic arm (2);
and
a plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) coupled to the at least one end effector (4), each of the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) are adapted to accommodate at
least one device, the at least one device is displaced by one of the at least one end effector
(4) and the at least one robotic arm (2), relative to the subject for determining the at least
one medical parameter of the subject.
2. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one robotic arm (2) includes
a plurality of arms (3a, 3b, 3c) coupled to each other through joints having five degrees of
freedom.
3. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one end effector (4) comprises:
a bracket (5) movably connected to the at least one robotic arm (2) and defined with
a plurality of provisions (11); and
at least one connecting member (6) coupled to each of the plurality of provisions
(11) at one end and configured to couple with the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02)
at another end, opposite to one end.
4. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, comprises a housing (10) positioned on the base
(1) and adjacent to the robot (100), the housing (10) is adapted to accommodate the at least
one device.
5. The system (200) as claimed in claims 1 and 4, wherein the at least one device is an image
capturing unit, a thermometer (B06), a stethoscope (C03), an oximeter and a
sphygmomanometer.
6. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one module of the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) includes a frame (D02) adapted to accommodate the image
capturing unit and an attachment member (D01) adapted to connect to the at least one
connecting member (6).
7. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one module of the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) includes a frame (B01) adapted to accommodate the
thermometer (B06) and a cam mechanism (B02) configured to operate the thermometer
(B06).
8. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one module of the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) includes a holder (C04) adapted to accommodate the
stethoscope (C03)and an attachment member (C01) adapted to connect to the at least one
connecting member (6).
9. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1 and 5, wherein at least one module of the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) includes a frame (G01) adapted to support the oximeter and
a cam mechanism (G02) configured to operate the oximeter between an open condition and
a closed condition.
10. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one module of the plurality of modules (7, 8, 9, E01, E02) includes a sphygmomanometer provisioned with a cuff (F07)
and a third actuator (F01) coupled to and configured to actuate the cuff (F07).
11. The system (200) as claimed in claim 1, comprises a control unit (CU) communicatively
coupled and configured to control the at least one end effector (4), the at least one robotic arm (2) and the at least one device.
12. The system (200) as claimed in claim 11 comprises an analyzing unit (AU)
communicatively coupled to the control unit (CU) and configured to at least map
surroundings and determining dimensions, distance and location.
13. The system (200) as claimed in claim 11 comprises a controller (CO) communicatively coupled to the control unit (CU) and configured to control the system (200).
