5 BACKGROUND
Permanent/temporary termination of an employee in an organization has turned
into the toughest challenge for our industrie’s face today. While the impact on
employees is obvious, the corporate world suffers from a negative brand image as
well. This is now becoming a common phenomenon for the reasons due to cost
10 cutting, reducing redundancies in as is condition or after a merger or acquisition,
and restructuring events due to changes in the industry, technologies (Up-skilling,
Re-skilling, Cross Skilling, emerging of New Generation Technologies), skill mismatch,
etc. However, on the other hand hiring the right talent and onboarding at the right
time at an optimized cost is another challenge in itself for the organization.
15 Therefore, need arises to provide a platform so that organizations can get the access
to the skilled resource pool for deployment as and when needed without affecting
the organization’s health and assets.

Figure 1 illustrates a system [100] in which the present invention is implemented.
The system [100] comprises a database [105] and a processor [110] communicatively
coupled with the database [105] and an Output Unit [130]. It should be understood
that the database [105] and the processor [110] may be physically separated from
25 each other or may be embedded together when in operation. The system [100] may
be in a network environment along with its all other components such as the
8
database [105], the processor [110], and the Output Unit [130]. On the other hand,
the components of the system [100] such as the database [105], the processor [110],
and the Output Unit [130] may be in communication with each of them via separate
network interface (not shown). The network interfaces may be network interface
5 cards, switches or routers, Fiber Channel transceivers, InfiniBand-enabled devices, or
other devices programmed to transmit and receive messages according to
standardized data network protocols. These protocols may include but are not
limited to Ethernet for a media access control (MAC) layer, Internet Protocol (IP) for
a network layer, and/or User Datagram Protocol (UDP) or Transmission Control
10 Protocol (TCP) for a transport layer and/or any technology and/or protocol(s) which
enables such a communication.
The database [105] may at least have information about an organization, a plurality
of individuals in relation with the organization and interaction of the plurality of
individuals with the organization. The information about the organization may be,
15 but not limited to, demographic details of the organization, historical information of
the organization, business/revenue information of the organization, number of
individuals associated with the organization, skill/performance of the associated
individuals etc. Further, the information about each of the plurality of individuals
may be, but not limited to, education, industry, nationality, gender, location, skill,
20 experience, technology area, income etc. The information of the interaction of the
individual with the organization may be, but not limited to, date and time of the
interaction, location of interaction, type of interaction etc.
In operation, aggregated data present in the database [105] is extracted and
analyzed by the processor [110] based on a set of communications between the
25 organization and the individuals associated with the enterprise and/or a corporate.
This aggregated data may include, but not limited to, time of availability of an
individual at a particular location, transmit time, demographic details and any other
9
relevant metadata. Further, the processor [110] is configured to divide the
aggregated data based on a set of pre-defined static attributes. These static
attributes are calculated based on how the respective individuals dealt with
allocated assignments during a particular time. Such static attributes may include,
5 but not limited to, scale of performance, approachability of the individual etc.
Accordingly, the processor [110] is configured to determine performance of the
individual. Further, a set of features pertaining to the skills of the individual of the
organization is recommended and this can help in preventing decline of performance
of the individual when associated with the organization. The output of said
10 recommendations are provided to the individual(s) via the Output Unit [130].
Figure 2 illustrates a method [200] carried out in the processor [110] i.e., extracting
and analyzing aggregated data of a set of communication between the organization
and a plurality of individuals associated with the enterprise and/or a corporate. The
method starts at step [210], based on an aggregation of information. The
15 information of the individual may include, but not limited to, time of availability of an
individual at a particular location, transmit time, demographic details and any other
relevant metadata. At step [220], the aggregated data is divided or categorized based
on a set of pre-defined static attributes. These static attributes are calculated based
on how the respective individuals dealt with allocated assignments during a
20 particular time. Such static attributes may include, but not limited to, scale of
performance, approachability of the individual etc.
At step [230], the performance of the individual is determined and this data can be
used over subsequent months to improve the accuracy and precision of the
predictions. At step [240], a set of features pertaining to the skills of the individual of
25 the organization is recommended and this can help in preventing decline of
performance of the individual when associated with the organization.
10
On the practical aspects of the present invention, there is a platform with data of
one or more master entities and details of the individuals working therein. The
platform is linked with at least one of the master entity and is also accessible by
authorized person(s) of the master entity. Using this platform, the authorized
5 person(s) of the respective organization can trace the individuals who are working
on non-revenue generated projects. Such projects are assigned to the individuals
based on their previous performance for a particular period set in the master entity.
Keeping in view about the potential of the individuals working on the non-revenue
generated projects, the platform offers recommendation to such individuals. The
10 recommendation may be, but not limited to transfer of the employment
engagement from the master entity to a slave entity. Upon acceptance on the
recommendation, the individual will be benefitted with Re-Skilling, Up-Skilling &
Cross Skilling (RUC) features. Accepting such recommendation changes the current
employment state of the individuals with the master entity as the employment
15 transfer to the slave entity is taking place. It is to be noted that the recommendation
provided to the individuals may only be viewed by the afore-mentioned authorized
person(s).
In accordance with the above, at step [250], the individual accepts the
recommendation offered and the individual is set to enhance skills pertaining to
20 relevant technical area.
In contrast to this, at step [260], the individual does not accept the recommendation
offered.
Figure 3 describes a hardware architecture [300] used to implement the present
invention. The hardware architecture [300] comprises a plurality of user devices
25 [305], a network interface 310, and a server [315]. The plurality of user devices [305]
is operated by a plurality of individuals associated with the organizations.
11
