TECHNICAL FIELD
[002] The present invention relates to integration of light and more particularly relates to integration of a ladder light and a cabin roof lamp of an Off-highway vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[003] The Off-Highway vehicles like dump trucks operate in the night and in mines. Mines do not have enough light and has dusty environment making it difficult task to work there. Generally, dumpers used in the field like mining and for Off-highway works (Dump Trucks) have a huge size and the cabin of the operator is situated at height that required a ladder to access the cabin. Absence of outer light may cause accident to the operator while trying to climb the ladder.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[004] The main objective of the invention is to integrate a ladder light and acabin roof lamp in the Off-Highway vehicles.
[005] Another object of the invention is to provide a roof lamp switching control through the ladder light switch.
SUMMARY
[006] Before the present system and method are described, it is to be understood that this application is not limited to the particular machine or an apparatus, and methodologies described, as there can be multiple possible embodiments that are not expressly illustrated in the present disclosures. It is also to be understood that the terminology used in the description is for the purpose of describing the particular versions or embodiments only and is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. This summary is provided to introduce aspects related to a dumper, and the aspects are further elaborated below in the detailed description. This summary is not intended to identify essential features of the proposed subject matter nor is it intended for use in determining or limiting the scope of the proposed subject matter.
[007] In one implementation, system for integration of ladder light and the cabin light on dumper is disclosed. The integration of the ladder light and the cabin light of the vehicle is achieved through the relay via the connection established to ladder lamp and the roof ramp.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[008] The foregoing summary, as well as the following detailed description of embodiments, is better understood when read in conjunction with the appended drawing. For the purpose of illustrating the disclosure, there is shown in the present document example constructions of the disclosure, however, the disclosure is not limited to the specific methods and apparatus disclosed in the document and the drawing:
[009] The detailed description is described with reference to the accompanying figure. In the figure, the left-most digit(s) of a reference number identifies the figure in which the reference number first appears. The same numbers are used throughout the drawing to refer like features and components.
[0010] Figure 1 illustrates Circuit diagram of system for integration of a ladder light and a cabin light.
[0011] The figure depicts various embodiments of the present disclosure for purposes of illustration only. One skilled in the art will readily recognize from the following discussion that alternative embodiments of the structures and methods illustrated herein may be employed without departing from the principles of the disclosure described herein.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0012] Some embodiments of this disclosure, illustrating all its features, will now be discussed in detail. The words "comprising", “having”, and "including," and other forms thereof, are intended to be equivalent in meaning and be open ended in that an item or items following any one of these words is not meant to be an exhaustive listing of such item or items, or meant to be limited to only the listed item or items. Although any systems and methods similar or equivalent to those described herein can be used in the practice or testing of embodiments of the present disclosure, the exemplary, systems and methods are now described. The disclosed embodiments are merely exemplary of the disclosure, which may be embodied in various forms.
[0013] Various modifications to the embodiment will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art and the generic principles herein may be applied to other embodiments. However, one of ordinary skill in the art will readily recognize that the present disclosure is not intended to be limited to the embodiments illustrated but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and features described herein.
[0014] The present disclosure discloses a system for integration of a ladder light with a cabin light to enhance the operator safety and to overcome the hindrance of accessing the cabin during night shift operations in areas such as mines that are normally pitch dark with dusty environment. In accordance to the present invention a direct switching control of the cabin roof lamp has been given from a ladder light switch.
[0015] Figure 1 shows a circuit diagram of the system for integration of a ladder light with a cabin light. From the figure 1 it may be observed that the system consists of two power supplies connected to a cabin roof lamp switch (5) and the ladder lamp switch (7). When the Ladder lamp switch (7) is turned ON, the ladder lamp (11) is illuminated and a power is supplied to the relay (13), which is normally closed. A connection is established from relay (13) to the cabin roof lamp (9) and the cabin roof lamp switch (5). Thus, the cabin roof lamp (9) is illuminated when the ladderlamp switch (7) is ON.
[0016] In one embodiment another ladder lamp switch (7) is mounted inside the cabin of the vehicle to form a two way switch with ladder lamp switch (7) mounted in close proximity of the ladder to turn ON or OFF the roof lamp (9) and ladder lamp (11) simultaneously while boarding or alighting from the vehicle as per requirement.
[0017] Further, the invention can be used, but not limited to, in the following applications.
[0018] A system for integration of a ladder light and a cabin light function on a vehicle comprises of ladder lamp switch (7) configured for integral operation of ladder lamp (11) and roof lamp (9). The ladder lamp switch (7) is configured to be mounted at a close proximity/on of the ladder and inside the cabin. The ladder lamp switch (7) mounted in close proximity/on the ladder and in the cabin form a pair of two way switch to optionally switch ON or OFF the ladder lamp (11) and roof lamp (9) as per requirement. The relay (13) is configured to turn ON or turn OFF the roof lamp (9) and ladder lamp (11) simultaneously on operation the ladder lamp switch (7). The power supply (1) is DC voltage power supply
[0019] Exemplary embodiments discussed above may provide certain advantages. Though not required to practice aspects of the disclosure, these advantages may include those provided by the following features.
[0020] Some embodiment may provide easy access to the cabin of the vehicle and avoid accidents in the dark and dusty conditions.
