A System For Light Duty Vehicle Powertrain To Meet Bs 6 Emission With Hot Intake Charge Induction

Abstract: A system for light-duty vehicle powertrain to meet BS-6 Emission with hot intake charge induction is provided. The system comprises the intake conduit (109) with the throttle valve (110). The intake conduit (109) is connected to the intake manifold (104). The turbocharger is attached directly to the exhaust manifold (101), the turbine (106) of the turbocharger is operated through exhaust gas from an engine (102) to drive the compressor (107) of the turbocharger, which pumps compressed air by compressing fresh air received from the atmosphere and send hot compressed air to the intake manifold (104) through the intake conduit (109). The exhaust gas recirculation system comprises the EGR control unit (116) which controls a temperature management device (112) and a valve (111) that sends hot and cold exhaust gas based on the engine (102) operating parameters. The system reduces the NOx pollutant and particulate matter from the exhaust gas of the engine (102). [Figure 2]
