Abstract: A System for Multimedia Contents Retrieval from Onboard Satellite Content Servers by Mobile Terminals Multimedia (or TV/HDTV/ Electronic Display Terminal) information received from the content servers present on the satellites to regional server and from the regional server to Mobile Terminal through short range wireless, The Mobile Terminal decodes, compresses and sends to the server through the base station to server using MIPv6/802.XX standards A Mobile Terminal is connected to the Television or High Definition Television through a regional short range wireless. The mobile phone has a processor, memory, the multimedia content decoder, Video/Audio/data playing system, clock, wireless transmitting and receiving system and other related components or devices. The wireless transmitting and receiving system send the compressed multimedia information by the processor to the server through base station using Mobile IPv6 or 802.XX standards. The connecting mobile terminal to the regional server can specify the system information, size and resolution of the image, frames etc. to the regional servers. The mobile terminal can use multiple (single) mobile display monitors for displaying the multimedia (TV/Electronic Display Terminal/HDTV) image in variable sides and resolution. The mobile terminal can display the image, which is stored in the server or processed in the mobile terminal on the multiple mobile monitors and also has the option to display with required resolution on TV Electronic Display Terminal/High Resolution Terminal.
INTRODUCTION:
The multimedia information is rich in video, audio, images, data etc. Lots of establishments do store the multimedia data in a remote server and the volume is also very large. In the present scenario people want to access the data, video and audio where ever they move, walking and positioned with ease. The transmitting conditions are very severe or too costly to afford. Present technologies have server concept for storing the multimedia content. However server/client technologies do not ease the retrieval of the content from any location for want of proper infrastructure. Also, the client server model provides access to very specific operator defined content, which restncts other users of their choice.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
To get the data where ever it required, it is convenient to have the multimedia data hosted on content servers onboard satellites, which are in higher orbits, or low earth orbits. The main problem is the high speed download of live or stored multimedia data which are retrieved from one or multiple content servers which can be a movie from TV or HDTV information and viewing, storing and playing the same through a embedded device like mobile or PC or PDA from the inside or outside the building fitting to the new wireless communication networks. So we need good compression technologies than the present and scalable compression bit rates as per the user requirement.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides the receiving of the multimedia information from the content servers, which are positioned onboard satellites. From onboard satellites to regional sen/ers and from the regional servers to the Mobile terminal through IP way and short-range wireless technologies. The mobile terminal decodes the multimedia information signal, compresses and transmits through the wireless transmitter to a base station and from base station to home server or outside server. For transmitting from Mobile terminal to base station and then to server MIPv6/802.xx standards are used.
Further the mobile terminal can have multiple monitors and can also receive multiple servers or channels. The interface to mobile terminal can be high resolution TV or Electronic Display Terminal or Projector for further displaying high-resolution images. The compression schemes can be MPEG standards or proprietary standards. The mobile terminal has the feature in which it can dynamically select the size of the image or the channel to view on single or multiple mobile monitors.

Also illustrates the embodiment of Mobile Terminal specifying the system info, resolution etc.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
The preferred embodiments are described are as follows.
Fig 1 illustrates the embodiment of multimedia information received from the content servers present on the satellites and from content servers to regional server, and from the regional server to Mobile Terminal through short-range wireless. The Mobile Terminal decodes, compresses and sends to the server through the base station to server using MIPv6/802.XX standards
The system according the embodiment has Content Servers on the satellites Television 11 which transmits the required channel of multimedia information to regional servers 12 and from the regional servers to the Mobile Terminal 14 through IP way and short-range wireless 13. The multimedia data is decoded, compressed and transmitted by wireless transmission by transmitter to base station 17 and then to home server (or outside server) 16 through MIPv6/802.xx protocols 15. Before transmitting to base station 17, the image, audio and data can be played in the Mobile Terminal 14.
Fig 2 illustrates the embodiment of Mobile terminal with multiple monitors receiving the multimedia data from the content servers present on the satellites to regional server and from the regional server to mobile terminal through IP way and short-range wireless. The Mobile Terminal is decoding, compressing and transmitting to the server using MIPv6/802,XX standards, and displaying then same from server and mobile terminal on high resolution display terminal. Also illustrates the embodiment of Mobile Terminal specifying the system info. resolution etc.
The system according the embodiment has Content Servers on the satellites 21 which transmits the required channel of multimedia information to regional servers 22 and from the regional servers 22 to Mobile Terminal with monitors 24, 25 through IP way and short range wireless (after receiving the mobile terminal information like size, resolution etc) 23. The multimedia data is, decoded, compressed and transmitted by wireless transmission by transmitter to base station 28 to home internet (outside server) 27 through MIPv6/802.xx protocols 26. Before transmitting to base station 28, the image, audio and data can be played in the Mobile Terminal with monitors 24,25. The mobile terminals can receive multimedia data or multiple TV Channels and play the same, and transmit to server 47. Before and after transmitting to base station 28, the image, audio and data can be played in the Mobile Terminals 24,25 and TV (or High Resolution Display Terminal or any electronic display terminal) 29. We can also receive back the stored multimedia information and play and display the same on any electronic display terminal or high-resolution display terminal) 29 from the server 27 through 802.xx networks. The system according the embodiment has Mobile Terminals 24,25 can dynamically select the image sizes for the both terminals or single terminal from different content servers or channel 1, after transmitting the mobile terminal information like size, resolution etc through short range wireless INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY:
1. Universal Access of content storage by Mobile Terminals
