Abstract: The system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle comprises; Control mounting bracket assembly fitted on vehicle structure, clamps provided on said vehicle structure, Clutch cable routed through said clamps, clutch cable stop bracket mounted on gear box with fasteners, yoke fitted in clutch housing of said gear box. The said control mounting bracket assembly comprises clutch pedal assembly, Said clutch pedal assembly comprises clutch pedal, cable mounting hole provided on said clutch pedal, Pin for locking of said clutch pedal assembly, plurality of bushes and locking clips. Said clutch pedal assembly comprises clutch pedal connected with pivot tube. Said clutch cable comprises outer cover and inner cable having 7 x 19 construction Said clutch cable which is having two ends, one end of said clutch cable is connected to clutch pedal assembly and other end of said clutch cable is fitted to yoke. Said clutch cable is routed through at least three clamps provided on vehicle structure to avoid sharp bend while routine on vehicle. Said clutch cable stop bracket is fitted on gear box with at least two fasteners having M12 threading. Said yoke comprises two end portions. One end is for connection to clutch release bearing and at the other end, clutch cable is locked. Said system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle is simple in construction and cost effective.

PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the
manner in which it is to be performed.
FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to clutch pedal effort system for a vehicle and more particularly it relates to a system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Clutch pedal effort in automobiles plays an important role in determining the driver comfort level. The clutch cable selection, cable routing, overall pedal ratio, clutch cable holding bracket, bush at clutch pedal pivot are the governing factors for clutch effort. Cable selection includes the construction of the cable along with material.
Generally cable of 1 x 19 construction, stainless steel inner cables are used, plastic bush which are fitted at pedal hinge location, which are not dimensionally stable and having more friction, clutch cable holding brackets which flexes during operation which add more effort and reduces the cable efficiency. Cable routing with sharp bend increase friction and reduces cable efficiency and life of cable is short due to cable damage.
OBJECTS OF INVENTION
The main object of this invention is to provide a system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle.
Another object of this invention is to provide a system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle with selection of cable with proper construction.
Yet another object of this invention is to provide a system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle with improved cable routine.
Yet another object of this invention is to provide a system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle which reduces friction at pedal pivot.
Yet another object of this invention is to provide a system for reducing of clutch pedal effort for vehicle which is cost effective and simple in construction.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle comprises; control mounting bracket assembly fitted on vehicle structure, clamps provided on said vehicle structure, clutch cable routed through said clamps, clutch cable stop bracket mounted on gear box with fastener, yoke fitted in clutch housing of said gear box, locking clip provided on said control mounting bracket assembly for locking of pin, bush provided in pivot tube of clutch pedal, said pin provided in said control mounting bracket assembly for fitment of clutch pedal assembly ,said clutch pedal assembly comprises clutch pedal having optimum pedal ratio which is fitted in said assembly control mounting bracket assembly through said pivot tube and said pin .
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein said bush is press fitted in said clutch pedal assembly at both ends of said pivot tube.
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein said pin is inserted through said bush and locked with said locking clip at both ends on said control mounting bracket assembly.
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein said clutch cable with its one end is fitted to clutch pedal and
other end to said yoke at gear box end and is routed through said clamps provided on said vehicle structure.
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein outer cable of said clutch cable is locked in said clutch cable stop bracket which is provided on said gear box.
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein said clutch cable stop bracket comprises face which is parallel to said yoke when said yoke is at its released position at which maximum effort required for releasing clutch when said clutch pedal is in pressed condition.
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein said face of said clutch cable stop bracket comprises hole for locking one end of said clutch cable.
A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, in accordance with this invention, wherein said face comprises inclined slot for inserting and locking said clutch cable from outside which is provided at suitable angle to prevent said clutch cable coming out while working on vehicle.

The said control mounting bracket assembly comprises clutch pedal assembly, Said clutch pedal assembly comprises clutch pedal, cable
mounting hole provided on said clutch pedal (13), Pin for locking of said clutch pedal assembly (12), plurality of bushes (10) and locking clips (9).
Said clutch pedal assembly (12) comprises clutch pedal (13) connected with pivot tube (14).
Said clutch cable (3) comprises outer cover and inner cable having 7 x 19 construction. Said clutch cable (3) which is having two ends, one end of said clutch cable (3) is connected to clutch pedal assembly (12) and other end of said clutch cable (3) is fitted to yoke (6).
Said clutch cable (3) is routed through at least three clamps (2) provided on vehicle structure (8) to avoid sharp bend while routine on vehicle.
Said clutch cable stop bracket (4) is fitted on gear box (7) with at least two fasteners (5) having Ml2 threading.
Said yoke (6) comprises two end portions (a, b). One end (b) is for connection to clutch release bearing and at the other end (a), clutch cable (3) is locked.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Referring now to the drawings wherein the showings are for the purpose of illustrating a preferred embodiment of the invention only, and not for the purpose of limiting the same.
Now referring to figures 1 to 6, In accordance with this invention, a system for
reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle, said system fitted on its position on
vehicle structure (8) which comprises;
Control mounting bracket assembly (1) fitted on vehicle structure (8), clamps (2)
mounted on said vehicle structure, Clutch cable (3) routed through said clamps ,
clutch cable stop bracket (4) mounted on Gear box (7) with fasteners (5). The
said control mounting bracket assembly (1) comprises clutch pedal
assembly(12), Said clutch pedal assembly (12) comprises clutch pedal (13) ,cable
mounting hole provided on said clutch pedal (13), Pin (11) for locking of said
clutch pedal assembly (12), plurality of bushes (10) and locking clips (9).
Said clutch pedal assembly (12) comprises clutch pedal (13) connected with
pivot tube (14).
Said clutch cable (3) comprises outer cover and inner cable having 7 x 19
construction Said clutch cable (3) which is having two ends, one end of said
clutch cable(3) is connected to clutch pedal assembly (12) and other end of said
clutch cable (3) is fitted to said yoke (6).
Said clutch cable (3) is routed through at least three clamps (2) provided on said
vehicle structure (8) to avoid sharp bend while routine on vehicle.
Said clutch cable stop bracket (4) is fitted on gear box (7) with at least two
fasteners (5) having Ml2 threading.
Said yoke (6) comprises two end portions (a, b). One end (b) is for connection to
clutch release bearing and at the other end (a), clutch cable (3) is locked.
Clutch pedal assembly (12) comprises clutch pedal (13) having optimum pedal
ratio (c/d) which is fitted in said control mounting bracket assembly (1) through
pivot tube (14) with pin (11).
Pluralities of Bushes (10) are press fitted in said clutch pedal assembly (12) at
both ends of said pivot tube (14). Said pin (11) which is inserted through said
bushes (10) and locked with locking clip (9) at both ends on said control
mounting bracket assembly (1).
Clutch cable (3) with its one end is fitted to clutch pedal and other end to said
Yoke (6) at said gear box end. Said clutch cable (3) is routed through suitable
number of clamps (2) provided on vehicle structure (8). Bush material is selected
which is having following properties; self lubricating, not affected by fluids,
takes up edge loading and compensates for misalignments, completely Lead
Free, dimensionally stable over long life, having higher load carrying capability,
light weight.
The bush plays important role as it reduces friction at pivot end. Bush is fitted
between said Pin and said Pivot tube.
Cable routing reduces the frictional losses and increases cable efficiency which
accounts for reduction of effort.
Pedal ratio includes selection of optimum pedal ratio for balancing Pedal effort
and Pedal Travel.
Clutch cable stop Bracket includes rigid bracket for holding cable with surface
holding cable is aligned with Yoke surface at position where clutch release load
is maximum.
Bush at pivot end is devised in such a way that it reduced the friction while
operating pedal at Pivot.
Clutch cable stop bracket (4) is fitted on gear box (7) with suitable number of
fasteners (5) having suitable size.
Outer cable of said clutch Cable (3) is locked in said clutch cable stop bracket (4)
which is provided on said Gear box (7).
Different cables of 3x7(21 wires), 7x7(49 wires) ,7x19(133 wires) and stainless steel wire rope is used on a vehicle wherein preferably 7x19(133 wires) is selected for maximum load efficiency which reduces to clutch pedal effort. Clutch cable stop bracket (4) which is fitted with suitable number of fasteners (5) having suitable size on gear box assembly (7).
clutch cable stop bracket (4) comprises face (15) which is parallel to said yoke (6) when said yoke (6) is at its released position at which maximum effort required for releasing clutch when said clutch pedal is in pressed condition. Clutch cable stop bracket (4) comprises face (15) comprises hole for locking one end of said clutch cable (3). Said Face (15) comprises inclined slot for inserting and locking said clutch cable (3) from outside. Said face (15) comprises said slot which is provided at an angle to prevent the said clutch cable (3) from coming out while working on vehicle.
The foregoing description is a specific embodiment of the present invention. It should be appreciated that this embodiment is described for purpose of illustration only, and that numerous alterations and modifications may be practiced by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. It is intended that all such modifications and alterations be included insofar as they come within the scope of the invention as claimed or the equivalents thereof.
WE CLAIM
1. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle comprises; control mounting bracket assembly fitted on vehicle structure, clamps provided on said vehicle structure, clutch cable routed through said clamps, clutch cable stop bracket mounted on gear box with fastener, yoke fitted in clutch housing of said gear box, locking clip provided on said control mounting bracket assembly for locking of pin, bush provided in pivot tube of clutch pedal , said pin provided in said control mounting bracket assembly for fitment of clutch pedal assembly, said clutch pedal assembly comprises clutch pedal which is fitted in said control mounting bracket assembly through said pivot tube and said pin .
2. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein said bush is press fitted in said clutch pedal assembly at both ends of said pivot tube.
3. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein said pin is inserted through said bush and locked with said locking clip at both ends on said control mounting bracket assembly.
4. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein said clutch cable with its one end is fitted to clutch pedal and other end to said yoke at gear box end and is routed through said clamps provided on said vehicle structure.
5. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein outer cable of said clutch cable is locked in said clutch cable stop bracket which is provided on said gear box.
6. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein said clutch cable stop bracket comprises face which is parallel to said yoke when said yoke is at its released position at which maximum effort required for releasing clutch when said clutch pedal is in pressed condition.
7. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein said face of said clutch cable stop bracket comprises hole for locking one end of said clutch cable.
8. A system for reducing clutch pedal effort for vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein said face comprises inclined slot for inserting and locking said clutch cable from outside which is provided at suitable angle to prevent said clutch cable coming out while working on vehicle.
