SUMMARY

The invention is a grinder for grinding foodstuffs, particularly to grind wet foodstuffs such as rice, pulses, and cereals, Specifically, the present invention is an improved design with improved in base stone such that cup shaped improved conical V grooved base stone design makes improvement in the efficiency of the grinding process. It uses two rollers which can make the grinding process fast and avoids heat and the improvement in the base structure will give a traditional hand-operated grinding quality in the batter, the same is achieved by using two rollers fixed angularly at least more than 15 degrees above the conical base stone. The rollers are designed like a countersink head screw to match the conical base stone which has a deep 'V' groove with an included angle above 30 degrees which seems to be like 'W'. This helps in achieving at least 80%of the base stone diameter as a grinding length (rollers and base stone contacting area) ie 200 mm of 250mm diameter of base stone. Wherein the existing grinders utilizes only 130mm of grinding length and mainlythe existing base stones are flat or may be slightly declined or inclined wherein the present invention uses the base stone, a cup shaped V grooved form. The rollers or roller stones outer diameter is seated in one side of the V groove base and the chamfer of the rollers are seated in the bottom of the V groove and finally one face of the rollers seated in the other side of the V groove. The base stone is designed in such a way that the contact point between the rollers outside diameter and rollers phase is utilized maximum grinding area. Particularly 80% of base stone contacting point is utilized. Thus achieving the maximum grinding length where the time consumption for grinding process is very negligible. The present invention is novel in utilizing both base and outer diameter of the grinding rollers. The above improvement in the grinder is suitable for table top, tilting and commercial grinders.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION.

The invention uses one outer diameter of rollers, chamfer and in one face it makes all different grinding operations like
1. Bottom Face of rollers makes pre-grinding
2. The top Chamfer area of rollers makes rough grinding in the bottom face
3. The final stage of grinding is carried out by straight roller area which crushes the rough ground batter to a smooth fresh quality batter similar to the skating method.
4. Top chamfer at both rollers is making fine grinding.

In the invention, the rollers are fixed with a shaft in the center bore and both sides of the shaft are compressed uniformly by a plate spring towards the tapered 'V' grooved bottom stone resulting in great, smart and quality batter. This design is unique and first of its kind where the rollers rotate with conical base stone axially and simultaneously moves up and down rhythmically by vertical spring action similar to traditional hand grinding operation, that is axial compression of the rollers against the conical base stone angle wherein the roller stones (1) and base stone (2) contacting on optimum angle is 450 , the v groove creates a skating performance by rotating and moving up and down, also when the roller moves downwards and heavy crushing takes place as the pressure in V belt operation.

The most important aspect of the present invention is that the grinding involves three stages, three different levels. It also involves three kinds of grinding like skating, v-groove crushing and face grinding which takes place at three different speeds thus providing high performance achieved.

This present invention is more advantageous as the performance is increased and the time taken reduced by 95%, wherein the existing grinders cannot achieve the same. The grinding time is very minimal when comparing with existing grinders. The grinding length is doubled wherein the existing grinders utilize only half of the length. Both Dual V groove, skating mechanism are introduced and utilized for third stage grinding for high-speed production of batter.

In one aspect of the invention, the wet grinder is designed in such a way that the roller stones and base stone are contacting at an angle optimum to exhibit a fine grinding of materials like rice, wheat, etc.

In other aspects, the tapered portions of the base stone and roller stones are grinding the materials finely when the contacting surface of the roller stones and base stones at a predetermined angle.

Fig1A-1C illustrates multiple views of the present invention wet grinder as one of the embodiments in the invention. Fig2A,2B illustrates the conical V grooved base stone portion and the bottom structure forming “w” shape as an improved structure of grinding process in the main embodiment.wherein the improved wet grinder comprising of inwardly tapered rollers (1) and base stone made to be contacted at predefined angle 450 and the base stone is V-grooved conical base stone (2)

The conical V-grooved base stone (2) is having larger profile at its upper portion and lower profile at its bottom portion and the center portion is having a hole such that the base stone can be inseparably fixed to the shaft.

It is another embodiment in the invention that the pluralities of shafts (not shown) may be arranged inside the base stone (2) to fix the roller stones (1) as shown in figure 1, wherein the conical V-shaped base stone (2) is making contact with the roller stones at angle formed by the profile arrangement as shown above. The V-grooves in the base stone (2) is larger its top portion and gradually decreases towards bottom, such arrangement is making the roller stones(1) and base stone (2) contacting at necessary angle to grind the materials faster and getting finely colloidal batter.
It is one of the embodiments in the invention that the angle between the roller stones (1) and the V-groove of the base stone (2) is an optimal angle at which the grinding is carried faster and smoother.

The roller stones (1) are finely fixed in the shafts (not shown) with necessary bolts and nuts in order to protect the rollers jumping out from the base stone (2) while running condition, the roller stones (1) may also be tightened together by using suitable jointers.

In the figure, it is shown like the roller stones (1) are attached to the jointer above the center shaft. But is obvious to the person skilled in the art to joint the rollers using such type of jointers in a known way are numerous.

From figure 2, the edges of the base stone (2)inside and roller stones (1) makes a contact to form a shape of “w” thereby the conical V-grooved base stone (2) and roller stones(1) forming an angle to grind faster.

The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention
