A Terminal Hinge Cover Unit For A Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (Mccb)
Abstract: Described herein is a terminal hinge cover unit [110] for selectively covering/uncovering a termination portion [116] of a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) [100], comprising: a substantially rectangular plate [118] including a central portion [118e], wherein the central portion [118e] defines a normal surface region [118f] and a depressed surface region [118g]; and at least one snap attachment section [120] extending laterally from the depressed surface region [118g] of the central portion [118e] thereof. Notably, in a locked state, the at least one snap attachment section [120] snap fits with at least one snap fitment slot section [122] on the termination portion [116] defined by the mid-cover assembly [106]. While, in an unlocked state, the at least one snap attachment section [120] is released from the at least one snap fitment slot section [122] of the termination portion [116] defined by the mid-cover assembly [106].
