Abstract: The invention discloses a turbocharger 10 for vehicle. The turbocharger 10 comprises a first turbine wheel 22 and a second turbine wheel 24. The first turbine wheel 22 and said second turbine wheel 24 are arranged in an exhaust path 15 of the vehicle. The second turbine wheel 24 is arranged concentrically around the first turbine wheel 22. The second turbine wheel 24 is coplanar to the first turbine wheel 22. Further, the second turbine wheel 24is larger than the first turbine wheel 22. (FIGURE 2)
Claims:1.A turbocharger (10) for vehicle, said turbocharger (10) comprises:
? a first turbine wheel (22) and a second turbine wheel (24);
? said first turbine wheel (22) and said second 5 turbine wheel (24)
are arranged in an exhaust path (15) of said vehicle,
characterized in that
? said second turbine wheel (24) is arranged concentrically
around said first turbine wheel (22).
2.The turbocharger (10) of claim 1, wherein said second turbine
wheel (24) is coplanar to said first turbine wheel (22).
3.The turbocharger (10) of claim 1, wherein said second turbine
wheel (24) is larger than the first turbine wheel (22).
4.The turbocharger (10) of claim 1, wherein the first turbine wheel
15 (22) rotates when pressure of exhaust gas is lesser than a threshold.
5.The turbocharger (10) of claim 1, wherein the second turbine wheel
(24) rotates when pressure of exhaust gas is more than the
threshold.
6.The turbocharger (10) of claim 1 further comprises a pivotable lever
20 (26) having a first end (28) and a second end (30), said first end (28)
of the pivotable lever (26) is coupled to inner periphery of said
second turbine wheel (24) .
7.The turbocharger (10) of claim 6, wherein said first end (28) of the
pivotable lever (26) is coupled to inner periphery of said second
25 turbine wheel (24) through an elastic element (34).
8.The turbocharger (10) of claim 6, wherein said second end (30) of
said pivotable lever (26) pushes at least one blade (36) of said first
turbine wheel (22), when said second turbine wheel (24) is rotated
by the exhaust gas having pressure more than said threshold.
9.The turbocharger (10) of claim 6 further comprises at least one
angled tooth (38) at outer periphery of said at least one blade (36) of
said first turbine 5 wheel (22).
10.The turbocharger (10) of claim 9, wherein said pivotable lever (26)
blocks said angled tooth (38) to prevent rotation of said first turbine
wheel (22) in anti-clockwise direction. , Description:The invention discloses a turbocharger 10 for vehicle. The turbocharger 10
