Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a water purifier assembly wherein provided with water leakage sensing and indicating means comprising interconnected modules for filtration decontamination and disinfection of water flowing there through provided with a sensor electronically sensing water leakage at any desired point to signal the PCB programmed to alert the customer and to deactivate a valve means to stop water and power supply to said purifier.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to a water purifier provided with water leakage sensing and indicating means.
BACKGROUND ART
Currently available water purifying systems have series of interconnected cartridge and modules capable of removing suspended impurities, sediments bacteria and other contaminants. Such purifiers are susceptible to water leakage through various joints filters and inter connections. Leakage of water arises out of improper fixing and mounting of the modules and joints as well as due to wear and tear of the unit. High pressure water input and flow through the unit may also lead to leakage. Water leakage understandably damages the unit and affects the surrounding area of installation.
THE FIELD OF THE INVENTION
It has been necessary to sense and indicate water leakage from a water purifier assembly due to the reasons stated above. It is an object of this invention to sense leakage of water from the modules of an integrated water purifying system and to signal and alert the customer about it.
Yet another object of this invention is to stop to input of water once the leakage is sensed and to cut off power supply to prevent short circuitry and allied consequences.
Accordingly this invention provides a sensor for sensing water leakage in a water purifier assembly. This sensor senses any leakage of water electronically and signals the PCB attached to the purifier unit. The PCB is programmed to activate the electromagnetic valve depending on the signals received from said sensor. The PCB is also programmed to provide audio/video signals to alert the customer in the event of
water leakage. The electric power supply and the water inlet will also be deactivated in the event of water leakage. It is understood that the PCB is programmed accordingly.
The sensor means may be located at any suitable position of the integrated water purifying assembly.

Obvious modifications and alterations known to persons skilled in the art are within the scope and ambit of the appended claims.
WE CLAIM:
1. A water purifier wherein provided with water leakage sensing and indicating means comprising interconnected modules for filtration decontamination and disinfection of water flowing there through provided with a sensor electronically sensing water leakage at any desired point to signal the PCB programmed to alert the customer and to deactivate a valve means to stop water and power supply to said purifier.
2. The water purifier as claimed in claim 1, wherein said valve means is an electromagnetic valve.
3. The water purifier as claimed in claims 1 and 2, wherein said sensor is programmed to emit audio/video signals on detection of water leakage.
4. The water purifier as claimed in claims 1 to 3, wherein said sensor activates/deactivates the valve means to control electric power and water supply.
5. A water purifier assembly provided with water leakage sensing and indicating means substantially as herein described with reference to the figures in the accompanying drawings.
