Abstract: This invention is related to a wheel speed sensor module 100. The wheel speed sensor module 100 comprises a housing 10 for mounting a wheel speed sensor 20 and an encoder wheel 30. A central hub 40 is provided at inner surface of the housing 10 for mounting the encoder wheel 30. A mounting hole 50 is provided at outer surface of the housing 10 for inserting the wheel speed sensor 20 inside the housing 10 such that a predetermined gap is maintained between the wheel speed sensor 20 and the encoder wheel 30. Claims:1. A wheel speed sensor module (100) comprising a housing (10) for
mounting a wheel speed sensor (20) and an encoder wheel (30),
characterized in that
a central hub (40) at inner surface of said housing (10) for
mounting said encoder wheel (30);
a mounting hole (50) at outer surface of said housing (10) for
inserting said wheel speed sensor (20) inside said housing
(10) such that a predetermined gap is maintained between
said wheel speed sensor (20) and said encoder wheel (30).
2. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said housing (10) is removably attached to a wheel hub of
a vehicle.
3. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said encoder wheel (30) has a central hole for fixing
around said central hub (40) of said housing (10).
4. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said encoder wheel (30) is inserted until a particular
position on said central hub (40) of said housing (10).
5. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said encoder wheel (30) is a toothed encoder wheel (30).
6. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said encoder wheel (30) is a magnetic encoder wheel (30).
7. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said predetermined gap is a vertical gap between said
wheel speed sensor (20) and said encoder wheel (30).
8. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein said predetermined gap is a horizontal gap between said
wheel speed sensor (20) and said encoder wheel (30).
9. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein at least one primary washer is inserted in said central hub
for adjusting position of the encoder wheel (30) and/or said
predetermined gap.
10. The wheel speed sensor module (100) as claimed in claim 1,
wherein at least one secondary washer is inserted in said mounting
hole for adjusting position of the wheel speed sensor (20) and/or
