Abstract: Abstract: 5 The present invention discloses an improvement over the Indian Patent no. 357944 and relates to a woven fabric (1A) and method of manufacturing the same. It discloses a woven fabric(1A) having warp threads (1B) and weft threads (1C) respectively in warp direction and weft direction. The plurality of yarns aligned in warp direction are interwoven with a plurality of yarns in weft direction, wherein 10 either weft and/or warp threads of said fabric are selected from a group of threads consisting of jute yarn (2) and non-jute yarn (3) such as natural or synthetic yarn or combination thereof, wherein jute yarn (2) is pre-treated yarn and are present at least up to 5% but not more than 80% of the weight (gsm) of said fabric, and remaining are threads of non-jute yarn (3).
