Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to the field of medical science and healthcare settings, and more particularly, the present invention relates to an adjustable seat for enhanced accessibility and safety in residential and healthcare settings.

[002] The following discussion of the background to the invention is intended to facilitate an understanding of the present invention. However, it should be appreciated that the discussion is not an acknowledgment or admission that any of the material referred to was published, known, or part of the common general knowledge in any jurisdiction as of the priority date of the application. The details provided herein the background if belongs to any publication is taken only as a reference for describing the problems, in general terminologies or principles or both of science and technology in the associated prior art.
[003] For individuals with physical disabilities bathroom accessibility presents a significant challenge, as many available seating options lack adaptability to different user needs, or specialty seating are often limited in functionality or require substantial modifications to the bathroom structure. This invention seat design consists of an adjustable, easily adaptable seat that seamlessly attach to standard toilets making it suitable for healthcare facilities, elderly care, and home use.
[004] The adjustable seat offers unique features designed to enhance user independence, safety, comfort, a half-seat assembly, height adjustability, cushioned supports, and a mobility-stability mechanism with caster wheels and a locking system. This innovative design allows easy attachment to and detachment from existing toilet structures, making it suitable for various physical conditions and environments. This innovative defecation postural modification device is designed to replicate the squatting position, which is more conducive to efficient bowel movements by aligning the recto anal canal and increasing abdominal pressure. The device promotes hip flexion and straightens the anorectal angle by integrating an adjustable, extendable footrest with a lifting mechanism to achieve a squatting-like posture while seated on a Western toilet this posture reduces strain on the pelvic muscles, particularly the hip flexors, and supports the natural movement of the bowels, enhancing ease of use and overall comfort.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[006] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, which at least one embodiment herein satisfies, are as follows.
[007] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by providing the Adjustable seat for enhanced accessibility and safety in residential and healthcare settings.
[008] Another object of the present invention is to provide the Adjustable seat for enhanced accessibility and safety in residential and healthcare settings that optimizes anorectal alignment by modifing the angle and height to simulate squatting.
[009] Another object of the present invention is to provide the Adjustable seat for enhanced accessibility and safety in residential and healthcare settings that facilitates pelvic floor muscle function by providing precise height adjustments that aid in healthier bowel movements.
[010] Another object of the present invention is to provide the Adjustable seat for enhanced accessibility and safety in residential and healthcare settings that supports the obturator internus and levator ani muscles by allowing for greater hip flexion, leading to less straining and more complete bowel evacuation.
[011] Another object of the present invention is to provide the Adjustable seat for enhanced accessibility and safety in residential and healthcare settings that offers an ergonomic solution for those seeking to improve defecation posture on Western-style toilets, supporting a natural, strain-free experience.
