b. a social networking website for storing all the information, and
c. the communication means such as internet for effective communication.
2. A method for advanced social networking platform comprising of
a. logging into website platform by user which comprises of professional, educational and problem solving forums;
b. registering into the website platform by user;
c. linking action item for accomplishing one goal by user;
d. sharing one goal by user with at least one other registered user of the website having similar interests for feedback; and
e. analyzing feedback from other registered users of the website having similar interests.
3. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the said messages include text, picture and video messages.
4. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the said sharing information includes knowledge, expertise, skills, experience, in-progress goals status, and completed goals status.
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a social networking platform. The present invention more particularly relates to a an advanced social networking platform for sharing content and to impact positive social measurements and generational awareness for improving community cultural and economic values.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Targets are a projected state of affairs that a person or an entity plans to achieve as a personal or organizational end result. Often, people stop at the discovery of their goals, because either they lake resources or they do not solicit guidance to accomplish their planed goals. Many people would like to support others in planning and achieving their goals, but they don't find a mass communication platform to share their expertise and experience with others.
Networking helps to expand personal or professional advantages to each other by sharing information and user gets benefitted by sharing the information. The technological advances have made it easier to contact each other, but still it requires a person-to-person contact. The e-mail systems are well known to the public. These systems transmit information among the users, where each user is identified by a unique e-mail address. The e-mail systems serve as an effective tool for mass communication depending upon the availability of e-mail address directories to the users. However, the e-mail address directories, are not available free of charge, or may be too expensive to purchase from independent sources/suppliers. Some sources may be offering e-mail systems free of charge for using such free of charge systems, the users are bombarded with unsolicited advertisements based on the personal information requested, which include hobbies, traits, education level or occupation. This may pose a significant nuisance when the user is anxiously awaiting an e-mail message from another person. The e-mail systems may be useful for advertising and marketing, as they generate money based on subscription cost or by advertising to the users. These e-mail systems are quite limited in their usefulness for sharing goals with each other.
So there is a need for many people to interact with each other and to share their experiences with each other. So there is a need for a communication platform where people can share their experiences with each other. DEATILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention is an advanced social networking platform on website. An advanced social media platform consisting of a network that comprises of dynamic database driven platform that enables interactive web content creation, collaboration, and exchange. The network is a social platform for publicly declaring the will of positivism, associated with the gathering of human knowledge that are reliably organized for shared studies.
The features of the advanced social networking platform are as follows.
1) Newsfeed features:
This is the basic and main feature through which users are exposed to the content posted in the network. A particular updates are selected to show the users every time they visit their feed out of average updates.
The new home page feature news feed highlights the information that include profile changes, upcoming events and birthdays among other updates. This feature helps spammers and other users to manipulate these features by creating illegitimate events or posting fake birthdays to attract user’s attention to their profile. The new home page feature creates an alternative home page in which users saw a constantly updated list of their friends' activity. Another part of the news feed feature is the mini feed that shows updates about the user, the user can delete events from the mini feed so that they are no longer visible to profile visitors. The user can delete events from the Mini feed after the appearance of events so that they can show top stories and most recent stories in one feed, and the option to highlight stories to make them top stories, as well as to un-highlight stories. News Feed make it too easy for other people to track activities like changes in relationship status, events, and conversations with other users. Through this feature, users are able to control the types of information which is shared automatically with friends. Users may prevent friends from seeing updates about several types of especially private activities. Users are given the option of removing updates from any application as well as choosing the size they show up on the page.
2) Friends:
Friend requests can be sent to other friends by using this advanced social networking platform. The user has the option of decline, delete, and allow the friend request. Declining the friend request or hiding it using the "Not Now" feature. Deleting a friend request removes the request, but does allow the sender to resend it in the future. The "Not Now" feature hides the request but does not delete it, allows the receiver to revisit the request at a later date. The present invention do not notify the user about unfriended but there are scripts that provide this function. Differences between ages, few mutual friendships were the dominant factors which are related to unfriending. The present invention has some privacy features to restrict content to certain users on a specific list.
3) Wall:
This feature allows the posting of messages often short of temporal notes for the user to see while displaying the time and date at the time the message is written. It is visible to anyone with the ability to see her full profile and friends wall posts also appear in the user’s News feed.
Users can post texts, attachments to the wall. Users can track their fan pages using this feature. The user’s name is put and a brand, an event or a group in a post such that it is connected to the wall of the Facebook page being tagged and make the post appear in news feeds and with the selected friends. The Wall (homepage of user)also displays other events that happened to the user's profile. This includes the timeline about change in information, change in profile picture, connection with new people.
4) Timeline:
This feature is for revamping users profiles in order to show content based on year, month and date. "Cover" photos are introduced, taking up a significant portion of the top of pages, and a redesigned display of personal information such as friends, likes and photos appeared on the left-hand side, while story posts appears on the right. The new design introduces flexible sizing for story posts in the feed, along with more prominent location and photo placement. The Timeline also encourages scrolling, with constantly loading story posts of users' pasts.
5) Likes and Reactions:
There is a like button on the advanced platform which helps the user to easily interact with status updates, comments, photos, links shared by friends, videos and advertisements. Once a user clicks a comment or a photo, the designated content appears in the News Feeds of that user's friends, and the button also displays the number of other users who have liked the content, including a full or partial list of those users
6) Comments:
This feature helps to add GIF images with comments. The eagerly-awaited feature can be accessed using the GIF button located beside the emoji picker.
7) Messages:
Messenger feature is for instant messaging service in which users can send messages to each other as well as users can make video calls, voice calls both in one-to-one interactions and in group conversations. Some features, including sending money and requesting transportation are also included. User can share photos and videos in a story-format with all their friends with the content disappearing after 24 hours. Reactions lets users tap and hold a message to add a reaction through an emoji and lets users in group conversations type to give a particular user a notification. This platform allows users to interact with each other and they can do business by tracking purchases and receiving notifications and interacting with customer service representatives.
8) Notifications:
Notifications tell the user that something has been added to his or her profile page. For eg: a message being shared on the user's wall or a comment on a picture of the user or on a picture that the user has previously commented on. Initially, notifications for events were limited to one per event; these are eventually grouped category wise. For instance, 10 users having liked a user's picture now count for one notification, whereas in the earlier stages, these would have accounted for ten separate notifications. The number of notifications can be changed in the settings section, to a maximum of 50.
9) Groups:
Groups can be created by individual users. Groups allow members to post content such as links, media, questions, events, editable documents, and comments on these items. Groups are used for collaboration and allow discussions, events, and numerous other activities. They are a way of enabling a number of people to come together online to share information and discuss specific subjects.
Open, closed and secret are all the features that shows the members, their comments are visible to the public but they cannot interact without joining, the groups, the members are visible to the public but their comments are not visible until the user has joined the group and nothing can be viewed by the public unless a member invites another user to join the group respectively.
Some applications of this advanced social networking platform are events, places, marketplace, photos and videos respectively.
Event feature allows user to know about the upcoming events in their community and to rearrange social gatherings. Events are shared by specifying event name, network, host name, event type, time of the event, location, list of friends which are invited. Events can be public or private. Private events are not shared in such type of platform. Only public events are shared on such platform and private events feed stories are also not visible to users which are not invited. When setting up an event the user can choose to allow friends to upload photos or videos.
Marketplace allows users to post classified ads within sale, housing, and jobs categories.
Places feature help the user to know the user’s friends where they are at the moment.
This platform allows users to upload photos, and to add them to albums. This feature helps users to identify people to tag in uploaded photos. Video platform allows users to upload recorded videos or live videos from their webcams. The service supports the ability to "tag" friends in similar ways to photos.
