1 INTRODUCTION
A module designed to be incorporated into a unique content playback device, which stores a library comprising of a multitude of content, to deduce a users possible preferences.
The output of the module is a presentation of a concise list of suggested selections out of the overall library based upon the mood of the user, time of day, number of persons present, gender of those present, friends or family amongst those present, in addition to genre, director, actor cast, music composer etc. provided as input to the prediction model.
2.0 Detailed Description
The system described is unique technique, which will allow a multimedia content (audio as well as video) playback system to intelligently estimate a specific user's content preferences, by creating a dynamically updated and continuously refining model of the user's present as well as past selections of content for playback.
The "predictor module" will attempt to estimate the subscriber's preferences for multimedia content, and display them on the User Interface of the playback unit. Based upon user feedback and a multitude of other refined, the "Inteffrgence" behind setectfon of content wili be constantly refined to enable a very accurate prediction, and provide maximum customer satisfaction along with optimal utilization of download bandwidth.

The parameters used by the "predictor module" to make its selections will include for the first time ever things like time of day, time of year, proximity of annual holidays, the mood of the user, number of people present, their profiles if available, their gender, their being either friend or family in addition to genre, director, cast etc, Fig 1 is a schematic view of the system.
