, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention generally relates to the field of an evaporative air cooler, wherein simultaneously it is provisioned for performing effective action of mosquito/insect repellent,
Background of the invention:
Conventionallyan evaporative air cooler, and its function is merely to provide people with a suitable temperature environment. Main season for the use of an evaporative air cooler is the summer, when mosquito-bites on people are very rampant and which not only affect the people's work, study and life, but also harm people's health. Such air coolers are primarily responsible for providing cool air to a particular area or enclosure/room. A conventional air cooler, while supplying to cooled and conditioned air to an enclosure/room, is not supposed to restrict mosquitoes/insects in the said enclosure/room.There are electric mosquito/insect repellent devices available in the consumer markets however they have their own limitations towards controlling mosquitoes. For almost all kind of popular mosquito/insect-repellent device, electricity is needed. Thus there is need for a suitably positioned socket as an electrical outlet, so that electric mosquito repellent device can create effective impact as mosquito/insect repellent.
Thus arranging a mosquito repellent device and keeping it functional at a wall mounted electric socket or at an extension board/socket with long wire, is not always convenient. Such an arrangement of mosquito repellent device and its operationcreate localized effect, particularly in case of a large room/enclosure and having certain confined corners. Sometimessuch conventional application of mosquito repellent cause an electric shock due to long extended wire and/or improper electricity connection.
Therefore, the present invention is intended to make and propose such an evaporative air-cooler, which is capable of working as mosquito repellent; particularly when employed to provide cool and conditioned air to an enclosed room/enclosure.
Prime object of the invention is to propose a novel evaporative air-cooler with provision of simultaneous function as mosquito repellent.
Another prime object of the present invention is to propose an evaporative air cooler with at least one mosquito-repellent device either inbuilt within the body of said cooler or optionally and detachably mounted there to, and wherein said evaporative air-cooler is characterized innon-interrupted functioning of said mosquito repellent(s) even though the air-conditioning and air-delivery operations of said evaporative air-cooler is stopped or switched Off.
Another object of the instant invention is to propose such an evaporative air-cooler wherein its at least one body panel is created with electrical connection point (socket) for attaching an optionally selected mosquito repellent device such as an ultrasonic insect repellent device or the insect repellent photovoltaic device or a chemical based repellent device.
Another object of the instant invention is to propose such an evaporative air-cooler wherein its at least one body panel is created with mosquito/insect repellent as an integrated component thereof.
Another object of the invention is to propose such an evaporative air cooler, which substantially eliminates/alleviates the disadvantages in the prior known air coolers as mentioned hereinabove.
PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRIOR ART:
Existing evaporative air cooler, and its function is merely to provide users with a suitable temperature environment. The use of evaporative air cooler is mostly during summer season, when mosquitoes breed in large number and mosquito bite on people is very rampant. Such mosquito bites, not only adversely affects people’s work, study and life, but it also causes serious harm to people’s health. Even during other seasons, mosquito bites continue to cause serious health hazard to people. Thus, there is need for a evaporative air cooler with temperature control function, which will give users a more comfortable environment but an evaporative air cooler which would free users from the menace of mosquitoes and mosquito bites.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to an improved evaporative air cooler construction provisioned with at least one mosquito/insect-repellent device, mainly comprising of a cooler body, comprising of its front& back panels, side panels, top panel and bottom panel; a cooler pad assembly adjacent to at least one of the side panels; a motorized air moving device (axial or centrifugal or cross-flow fan); a water circulation system and a water storage tank; and an electricity regulated control panel.
The mosquito repellent device or component, provisioned with the said evaporative air-cooler, is optionally selected as an ultrasonic insect repellent, photoelectric insect repellent or a chemical repellent.
The mosquito/insect repellent component of said air-cooler is preferably fixedly provisioned on the front panel or on the back panel or on control panel of the air cooler body.
The body of said evaporative air-cooler is so constructed that it can integrate an ultrasonic insect repellent device or the insect repellent photovoltaic device from outside of the said air-cooler and the same be operated by means of power cord from the electronic PCB.
The evaporative air-cooler is so provisioned that either the mosquito/insect repellent fixedly integrated component or the independent/ optionally chosen mosquito/insect repellent device or both can be directly connected to external power supply point and thus the same will be capable of function even after stopping the air-cooler operation of the said cooler. Further, the electric regulator panel of the said evaporative air-cooler is optionally mounted with at least one electric connection points (sockets) towards connecting the said mosquito/insect repellent(s).
The air delivery in the present invention cooler is guided by a set of horizontal and vertical louvers (air guides). Both horizontal as well as vertical louvers can oscillate.
With the arrangements made in the said evaporative air-cooler as mentioned herein above, there are many advantages and positive effects, namely:-
(i) to provide people with a suitable temperature and conditioned air zone which is almost free from any mosquito or insect;
(ii) Ultrasonic insect repellent or insect repellent photovoltaic power cord to the electronic PCB is connected, no insect repellent again to find a dedicated power outlet, it will not pull a long power line, and human activities affect the beauty of the room, but do not due to pull long power cable caused by an electric shock.
(iii) As an evaporative air-cooler is generally positioned near the human activity or at the prime location in the enclosed room/enclosure and also due to functioning of the said air-cooler, the mosquito/insect repellent device(s) (or integrated such component(s)) perform effectively towards restricting the mosquitoes/insects in the desired area/enclosure, including such corners which are normally not reached and usually act as safe hide-points for the mosquitoes/insecticides.
(iv) Theconstruction and the structure of the said evaporative air-cooler is simple and the said mosquito/insect repellent provisions are easy to use.
The evaporative air cooler of the present invention is designed to be used for the convenient cooling of any room or similar enclosed or open space such as house, office, shop, warehouse, manufacturing location, process industry, assembly hall, restaurant etc.
