Field of Invention:
The present invention relates to an air therapy plate, in particular to a seat massage plate. The air therapy plate has bulges to massage a gluteus of a user and more particularly the invention relates to the air therapy plate that provides soft massage to the entire gluteus.

Background of Invention:
The benefits of massage on the health of human have been known for many centuries. One of the types of massage therapy, referred to as acupressure, involves massage of biologically active points and localized morphological regions along the spinal column, neck and other sites on the human body. It is recognized by massage therapists, physical therapists and chiropractors that acupressure can augment the function of the internal organs of the body, and also provide relief to people suffering from back and neck pain, pain associated with stress, sport tension, etc.
On the other hand, western medical thinking suggests that the biologically active points are related to the nervous system of the organism. Thus, massage of the active points may stimulate the production and release of endorphins, which serve to reduce the sensation of pain and affect emotions. It is known that the effect of acupressure therapy can be improved by heating the regions to which massage is applied, owing to the increase of the circulation of blood and energy. In addition, it may be necessary for pressure to be applied over a continued period of time. In this case, manual application of pressure is subject to shortcomings, especially when it is attempted by the patient himself, both because of difficulties in locating the appropriate pressure points, as well as the difficulties associated with the continuous maintenance of pressure on the points over an extended period of time.
Various pressure applying devices are known for continuous application of pressure to certain active points. The prior art document U.S. Pat. No. 4.433,683 describes a hand-held maniputable exercise-massage device which enables the user to use it as a rolling or massaging implement for reducing tension and relieving body aches and pains. The device comprises opposed spring-biased handle portions having mounted there between pluralities of roller members so that the user may distend the handles to obtain arm and hand exercising and may use the device for rolling action on the back of the neck or the like, to relieve tension, knotted muscles and, generally, impart a relaxing sensation to the user.
Another prior art document ZL201120385769.1 discloses such a human spine curve massager. The human spine curve massager consists of a bottom plate and a massage block fixed on the bottom plate. It is composed of a support block and an electronic oscillator. The upper surface of the massage block and the support block form a curved surface similar to the curve of the human spine; when the body lies on the massager, the human spine can be completely relaxed in a natural state. In the part that feels fatigue and pain, the high-frequency pulse current generated by the electronic oscillator is used to stimulate the physical therapy through the massage block, which will have a better effect on relieving fatigue and soreness.
For most people, maintaining the same posture for a long time is one of the main causes of spinal injuries. For example, people who work at desks with their heads down usually sit in front of the computer for a long time. The normal state of life, this puts a great load on the spine, and it is prone to spinal abnormalities. Spine abnormalities can not only cause neck, shoulder and back pain, numbness of the limbs, but also affect the blood vessels near the spine, interfere with the nerves that manage the internal organs, and cause systemic disorders such as breathing, digestion, and circulation, leaving many people in a painful or sub-healthy state. This seriously affects people’s work and quality of life.
However, the massagers in the above patents all have a common problem, that is, the massager needs to be connected to a power source during use, and the action of the massager must be driven by a motor or an electronic oscillator. Once the electronic circuit is damaged or malfunctions, the massager cannot operate normally. The service life of the massager is limited by the electronic equipment. Moreover, the electronic equipment has the risk of leakage, which causes safety hazards in use. Secondly, the massager using the electronic drive device is usually large in size and complex in structure., Poor mobility and portability, resulting in insufficient flexibility in use; in addition, the massager in the above-mentioned patent is generally relatively fixed during use, and the massage head on the massager can only move back and forth. To achieve passive massage of local acu points on the cervical spine or spine, it is impossible to further realize the active exercise and movement of the nerves in the spinal canal and the internal organs of the thoracic and abdominal cavity, and the overall health care effect is not good.
In general, there is a theory that low back pain is caused by tension in the lower back and buttocks and in manual therapy such as massage, the tension in the lower back and buttocks is released by the hands of a therapist. In particular, it is said that it is effective to apply pressure to the acupuncture points located in the back of the pelvis, especially the ischium (the acupuncture points located at the connection between the buttocks and the thighs or their surroundings). However, a conventional hip massager (massage chair, roller bed, etc.) has a moving roller, and the roller moves back and forth so as to massage from the back to the waist in the supine or sitting posture of the subject. However, there is a problem that it does not effective pot or its peripheral part. In addition, with conventional hip and buttock massagers, the subject can simply leave the body to a moving roller, or with the help of another person, a therapist, to move the hips and buttocks at will or at will. There is a problem that it is difficult to knead.
Therefore, in order to solve the problems in the above-mentioned patents and achieve the purpose of optimizing the structure and improving the health care effect, further improvements are needed for this type of massager.

Fig.7 illustrates the enlarged view of the central bulge (15) as mentioned in Fig. 1 of the present invention. The center bulge (15) also contains the small protuberance (16) to provide specific point massage on the gluteus. The center bulge (15) is greater in height with respect to the other bulges (14) on the plate (11). The height of the center bulge (15) is 32.2 mm ± 0.5 mm and the length (P1) of the center bulge (15) is 52.0 mm ± 0.5 mm and the width (R1) of the central bulge (15) is 62.2 mm ± 0.5 mm as shown in fig. 7.

As aforesaid, the bulges (14) have been arranged at particular heights, shape and length, so when the pressure points are pressed in the user gluteus due to self pressure of the body, the blood circulation reaches from the back, spine to the head and makes the body fit and flexible.

Furthermore, there is a specific reason to design this plate (11) in such a way that the bulges (14) with small protuberances (16) have been arranged to enhance blood supply to each and every part of the user body through the gluteus. When an individual seats on the plate (11) according to present invention, each and every pressure point in the gluteus is pressed that enhances the blood supply to the particular organ. The user feel the pain in a particular point that is good for the body as it will enhance the blood supply to the organ which will remove toxins from the blood and those toxins will be flushed from the body through urine, stool or perspiration and user feel light and energetic in the body.

The present invention provides easy to carry and easy to use the plate (11) for pain relief and helps to enhance the blood supply to each and every organ in body in just 15 (fifteen) minutes through the air therapy by just lying/seat on the plate (11). The user utilizes the plate (11), as shown in one embodiment, as illustrated in Fig. 1, by placing the plate (11) on a support surface. The user seats onto the plate (11). The user can massage the gluteus area utilizing body weight to bring attention to the area allowing to apply a sustained focused pressure, for as long as they want as per the user’s convenience.

Although the preferred embodiment as well as the preparation and use have been specifically described, it should be understood that variations in the preferred embodiment could be achieved by a person skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the invention. The invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments which are merely illustrative and not intended to limit the scope of the invention as defined in the claims.
