Abstract: ABSTRACT AIRMIX MECHANISM FOR A VEHICLE The present invention relates to an air mix device for a manual HVAC installed in a vehicle comprising a rotational to linear motion converter comprising cylinder comprising helical recession on an outer curved surface of the cylinder; a shaft coupled to the cylinder, wherein a knob is to couple to the shaft and a rotation of the knob rotates the shaft and the cylinder; a movement ring having at least one protrusion wherein the protrusion is to fit in the helical recession of the cylinder and the rotation of the cylinder in clockwise direction moves the movement ring upwards and the rotation of the cylinder in anticlockwise direction moves the movement ring downwards; a longitudinal member attached to the movement ring such that the longitudinal member moves upward and downward with the movement of the movement ring.
