3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed : -
Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to amusement device. More particularly it relates to an amusement article being used in water parks.
Prior Art:
Amusement and theme parks are terms for a group of entertainment attractions and rides and other events in a location for the enjoyment of large numbers of people. An amusement park is more elaborate than a simple city park or playground, usually providing attractions meant to cater to children, teenagers, and adults.
A water park is an amusement park that features water play areas, such as water slides, spray grounds (water playgrounds), lazy rivers, or other recreational bathing, swimming, and bare footing environments. Water parks in more current states of development may also be equipped with some type of artificial surfing or body boarding environment such as a wave pool or Flow Rider.
Some of the water park amusement systems are referred herein below.
Patent publication WO2007019278 (A2) discloses a water amusement ride system. The system may include a first channel of water. The first channel may function to convey participants in a first direction. The system may include a second channel of water. The second channel may function to convey participants in a second direction. The second direction may be different from the first direction. The system may include a first adjustable flow controller positioned in the first channel of water. The system may include a third channel coupling the first channel, upstream of the first adjustable flow controller, to the second channel. The first adjustable flow controller may function at least in part to control the flow of water through the third channel The system may be part of a continuous water ride.
Patent publication US2010009767 (Al) discloses a rotating ride for use in water parks and other settings to provide ride passengers or park guests with an interactive water experience. The ride includes a structural system with a drive that rotates a support structure such as a wheel frame about a central axis or hub. The ride includes a plurality of vehicles that each includes a body with seating for passengers and that is connected to the support structure and rotates with it. The vehicle assembly includes a water release mechanism that is passenger operable to release water from the vehicle as it is moved through the ride path. The vehicle body may include a water storage reservoir storing a volume of water that then can be selectively released by the passenger. The stored water may be caught as it pours over the vehicle or the vehicle may pass through a pool to scoop up the water.
Patent publication WO9845006 (Al) discloses a water ride for use in a leisure park comprising an inclined hollow rotating tube having an internal screw thread. The first end of the tube is at a lower water level and the second end of the tube is at a higher water level. Accordingly, a user entering the tube at one level can be carried to the other level by a body of water moving along the internal screw thread as the tube rotates about its axis.
The conventional water parks are having full of thrill and fun in terms of the water rides. However they are still lacking in thrill and fun in the area of water pool and its related amusement attractions. Hence there is a need of development in the area of water pool related amusement attractions in water parks.
Object of the Invention:
The main object of the present invention is to provide an amusement article being used in water parks which can be easily installed in the water park.
Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement article being used in water parks which can increase amusement level in the water park.
Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement article being used in water parks which is safe.
Summary of the Invention:
Accordingly to achieve the aforesaid objects the present invention provides an amusement article being used in water park equipment for accommodating and subsequently automatically discharging the water after a predetermined period, the amusement article comprising:
a first container for accommodating the water to be discharged, the first container being divided into two parts by means of a partition, the first container comprises a water discharge port at bottom in one of the two parts of the first container;
a water discharge mechanism to be placed inside the one of the two parts of first container which includes the water discharge port, for providing a discharge path for the water;
a second container to be placed inside the other part of the first container which does not comprises the water discharge port;
a balancing mechanism having two ends, at one end of the balancing mechanism the water discharge mechanism is connected and at other end the second container is attached,
wherein the water discharge mechanism, the second container and the balancing mechanism are arranged in such manner that at initial position the water discharge mechanism shuts the water discharge port and thus water gets collected in the first container, after reaching a certain height water is transferred to the second container, as the water is transferred to the second
container the water is filled in the second container, due to balancing effect the water discharge mechanism opens the water discharge port for providing discharge path to the water and the water discharge mechanism again shuts the water discharge port when the second container gets empty.

As referred to figures 1 and 2, an amusement article (1) is shown. The amusement article (1) is used in water park equipment for accommodating and subsequently automatically discharging the water after a predetermined period. The amusement article (1) includes main container (2), small container (5), water discharge mechanism (8,9) and balancing mechanism (12).
The main container (2) accommodates the water to be discharged. The main container (2) is divided into two parts by a partition (4). The main container (2) includes a water discharge port (3) at bottom in one of the two parts. The small container (5) is situated inside the other part of the main container which does not comprise the water discharge port. The main and small containers (2, 5) are connected through pipe (11). The pipe (11) is provided in the partition (4) at a height depending upon the placement of the small container (5) inside the one of the parts of the main container (2).
The water discharge mechanism (8, 9) is provided inside the one of the two parts of main container (2) which includes the water discharge port (3). The water discharge mechanism provides a discharge path for the water. The water discharge mechanism consists of a means having size and shape sufficient to shut the water discharge port. According to one of the embodiment of the invention the means includes ball and cage assembly (8, 9). In this assembly ball (8) is held by a cage (9). The cage links (10) of the cage (9) supports the ball (8). The ball and cage assembly (8, 9) get fitted over the water discharge port (3). A ball (8) is provided to create a buoyancy effect to open the water discharge port (3) of the main container (2).
The balancing mechanism (12) consists of two ends. At one end of the balancing mechanism the water discharge mechanism (8, 9) is connected with the help of cage link (10) and at other end the small container (5) is attached with the help of link (7).
The water discharge mechanism (8, 9), the small container (5) and the balancing mechanism (12) are arranged in such manner that at initial position the water discharge mechanism (8, 9) shuts the water discharge port (3) and thus water gets collected in the main container (2), after reaching a certain height water is transferred to the small container (5), as the water is transferred to the small container (5) the water is filled in the small container (5), due to balancing effect the water discharge mechanism (8, 9) opens the water discharge port (3) for providing discharge path to the water and the water discharge mechanism (8, 9) again shuts the water discharge port when the small container (5) gets empty.
In one of the embodiment of the invention the small container (5) may comprises a door (6) for emptying the small container. The door can be manually or automatically operable. In absence of door, an operator is required to emptying the small container so that cycle can be repeated. The predetermined period for accommodating and subsequently automatically discharging the water depends upon size of the main container and small container.
Working of the invention:
Water is poured into the main container (2) till the pipe (11) attached in the partition (4). After this level the water starts falling into the small container (5) through the pipe (11) provided in the partition (4). When the small container (5) is filled with the water it comes down and the water discharge port (3) in the main container (2) gets open by combination of balancing action and buoyancy force. The small container (5) gets empty when its door (6) is open. After small container (5) gets empty it-goes to its original position and the water discharge port (3) in the main container (2) gets close and this cycle is repeated again and again.
Further modifications and alternative embodiments of various aspects of the invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art in view of this description. Accordingly, this description is to be construed as illustrative only and is for the purpose of teaching those skilled in the art the general manner of carrying out the invention. It is to be understood that the forms of the invention shown and described herein are to be taken as the presently preferred embodiments.
