Claims:1. An anti-acne cosmetic synergistic composition comprising geraniol in the range of 0.01-5 wt % with respect to the composition, at least one anti-bacterial agent in the range of 0.00001-0.05 wt % with respect to the composition and at least one acceptable additive.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein geraniol to the at least one anti-bacterial agent w/w ratio is in the range of 1: 0.01 - 1: 0.001.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one acceptable additive is selected from (a) at least one preservative; (b) at least one feel enhancer; (c) at least one neutralizer; (d) at least one emollient; (e) at least one humectant; (f) at least one structurant; (g) at least one chelant; and (h) optionally water.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the anti-bacterial agent is selected from a group consisting of erythromycin, azithromycin, clarithromycin, tetracycline, minocycline and clindamycin.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the preservative is selected from group consisting of methyl paraben, ethyl paraben, propyl paraben, butylparaben, imidazolidinyl urea, diazolidinyl urea, methylchloro-isothiazolinone, methyl-isothiazolinone, iodopropynylbutylcarbamate, and methyl-dibromoglutaronitrileand is present in the range of 0.005 to 0.5 wt % with respect to the composition.

The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the feel enhancer is selected from group consisting of linear and cyclic polydimethylsiloxanes, volatile silicones, alkyl citrate and alkyl tartrate, stearate esters, myristate esters, lactate esters, palmitate esters, adipate esters, oleate esters, cholesterol derivatives, waxes, essential oils and extracts and is presentin the range of 0.01 to 25 wt % with respect to the composition.
7. The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the neutralizer is selected from group consisting of triethanol amine and, sodium hydroxide and is present in the range of 0.0004 to 0.4 wt % with respect to the composition.

The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the emollient is selected from group consisting of amodimethicone, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, caprylyl glycol ehg, cetylpalmitate, cyclo-dimethicone, dimethicone 500, dimethicone satin, glycerin, iso-dimethicone copolymer, isododecane, isoeicosane, isolanolin, isopropyl myristate, jojoba gel, lanolin alcohol, mineral oil, natural gel-wax, octyldodecanol, peg-8 dimethicone, petroleum jelly, (petrolatum)polyamide 3, polyisobutene 1200, polyisobutene 250, and squalene and is present in the range of 0.05 to 20 wt % with respect to the composition.

The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the humectant is selected from group consisting of algae extract, aloe vera powder, arnica extract, hydrolyzed baobab protein, caprylyl glycol, ceramide complex, coenzyme q10, hydrolyzed collagen protein, colloidal oatmeal, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed jojoba protein, hydrolyzed keratin protein, lacto-ceramide, matrixyl s-6, propylene glycol, rhubarb root extract, and sodium pca and is present in the range of 0.01 to 10 wt % with respect to the composition.

The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the structurantis selected from group consisting of starch, alginate, guar gum, glycol stearate,carbomers, silicone based polymers, acrylate copolymer, and cellulose based polymers and is present is in the range of 0.01 to 7 wt % with respect to the composition.
11. The composition as claimed in claim 3, the chelant is selected from group consisting of tetrasodium ethylene-diamine-tetraacetate, disodium ethylene-diamine-tetraacetate, ethane 1-hydroxy-1, and 1-diphosphonate and is present in the range of 0.01 to 0.5 wt % with respect to the composition.
12. The composition as claimed in any one of claims 3, wherein water is in the range of 10 to 98 wt % with respect to the composition.
13. A process for the preparation of the anti-acne synergistic composition as claimed in claim 1.

14. The composition as claimed in any one of claims 1-3, wherein the composition is used in the form of soap, cream, lotion, gel forms.
