The slot in plate is made in arc shape to adjust the angle of the punches. There is one center punch (4) and two side punches (3). One center bolt (5) is fitted at top of slotted plate (2). Center punch (4) is tightened in the center bolt (5) to adjust the height of the same. Side punches (3) are welded with threaded rods at back side to tightened the side punches with back-side bolts (7). TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to an apparatus for fabrication of welded walls/panels made of tubes of various sizes and specifications for high temperature and high pressure applications. The invention also relates to an apparatus for doing the cutting punch of panel end tubes. More particularly, the invention relates to an apparatus which can enable the cutting punch on panel end tubes and making it easier and accurate cutting. This is considered as more accurate, safe and efficient with reduced manpower and cycle time for of water wall panels
BACKGROUND

[0003] In power plants, the spiral and vertical panels / walls form the walls surrounding the furnace, where the fuel is burnt and the heat is transferred to the medium flowing inside the tubes. The furnace walls consist of setting of required number of panels as per drawing. The Length of the panels varies from 2 to 20 meters and the number of tubes per panel / wall varies from 22 tubes to 400 tubes with outside Diameter ranging from 38.1 mm to 76.1 mm.
[0004] These panels have to be cut accurately by oxy acetylene gas cutting and then chamfering afterwards. Before start of gas cutting marking has to be ensured by putting punch on each tube. Normally 3 punches have to be made with single punch tool at 3 locations over top of tubes. These punches should be made in same arc manually. Marking has to be done first with thread mixed with chalk dust. Afterwards center punch has to be done on all tubes followed by side punches on both sides of center punch at equal distance. This process is not only time taking but also accuracy is compromised in making all three punches in one arc.
[0005] If the punching is not proper cutting will be improper leading to reworks such as length shortage, repeated cutting in same tube and leading to more time and more man power, which is not desirable.

Claims:We claim:
1. An apparatus (A) for carrying out precise punch cuttings on panel tubes, the apparatus comprising:
a hollow tube acting as lifting handle (1), and the lifting handle (1) is fitted with an arc shaped slotted plate (2)
wherein the apparatus has a center punch (4) and two side punches (3), positioned adjacent to the center punch (4);
a center bolt (5) configured at the top of slotted plate (2);
a center punch (4) is tightened in the center bolt (5) to adjust the height of the same;
a plurality of side punches (3), welded with threaded rods at the back portion to tighten the side punches with back-side bolts (7).
2. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein by tightening and loosening the back-side bolt (7) the side punches (3) angle and height can be adjusted for any diameter of tubes.
3. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1 is kept on the panel job (6), wherein after that first of all center punch (4) height is locked with center bolt (5) in such a manner that pointed portion should touch the panel tubes.
4. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the two side punches (3), angle and height are adjusted in such a manner that pointed portion of punches should touch the top of tube.
5. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein once the apparatus is set, it can be hammered at top to get punch impression (8) of three punches at the same time.
6. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1 provides the flexibility of usage to a plurality of panel tubes.
7. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1 provides the flexibility for any diameter and material of panel tubes.
8. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus provides the provision of usage in any position on panel tubes.
9. The apparatus (A) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the apparatus can be used for high temperature high pressure applications.
