BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[004] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.

[005] The Panel is made up of tubes welded with the 12mm fin at both sides. Slots of 150mm length and 6mm wide is made by cutting the fins as located in drawing. Lug plate assembly is made up of two parallel plates with washer plate welded in between to maintain the gap. These plates are of thickness 6mm. At bottom end of parallel plates one 20mm thick plate with centered hole is welded horizontally, keeping the top end free. At Top free end, similar 20mm plate is welded after inserting it in panel slots provided in panels. After inserting the lug plate assembly into the slot from bottom, 20mm plate is welded on top free end of lug plate assembly and fit up of lug plate assembly completed.

[006] In a vertical panel 20 numbers of lug plate assembly are provided. First slots of 6mm are made at various location as per drawing. One person inserts the lug plate assembly into the slots from downwards and holds it after reaching at proper height. Another person checks the alignment of parallel plates and puts 20mm thick plate horizontally and welder carries out the welding of 20mm thick plate with vertical plates. Total 3 manpower is required to complete one lug plate assembly fit up. Moreover, cycle time of process is also more.

[007] Hence there is a need to develop a safe and simple alternative for doing the lug plate assembly fit up with less manpower and with reduced cycle time.
