Technical field of the invention
[0003] The present invention relates to an apparatus for instant perfume spraying with an accidental spray obstructer that prevents accidental spraying of the perfume. More particularly, the invention relates to an attachable mini-perfume sprayer which enables the apparatus to be attached with an external device.

Background of the invention
[0004] Perfume is a fragrant liquid made by fusion of aromatic chemicals and oil extracted from nature. The perfume manufacturing method involves the process of extracting oil from different ingredients which are further blended together with alcohol to obtain a fragrant liquid. The liquid perfume is then transferred into a fragrance emitting apparatus, for usage by the consumer.
[0005] The fragrance emitting apparatus works on the principle of air-flow and suction flow which comprises a container at the bottom and head at the top of the apparatus. The head comprises a trigger level which triggers a pump when the user activates the spray button. The pump draws fluid from the container to a nozzle positioned at the head of the apparatus by means of a narrow tube attached to the pump. The nozzle placed at the tip of the head dispenses liquid perfume out from the container into surrounding air.
[0006] The fragrance from perfume reduces body odor temporarily and requires the user to spray the perfume repeatedly in short intervals for an everlasting effect. This compels the user to carry a bulky fragrance emitting apparatus everywhere. Further, the fragrance emitting apparatus is susceptible to accidental spraying when the user unintentionally actuates the spray atomizer. Consequently, many attempts have been made to create a mini-perfume spray device which is portable, provides attachment system and prevents accidentally spraying of the perfume from the apparatus.
[0007] The United States Patent Publication No US20130164178A1 discloses “Fragrance Dispenser for use with portable electronic device”. A cover for holding and protecting a scent insert for use with a portable electronic device or other electronic device such as an IPOD, IPAD, MP3 player, laptop, for example, including a pocket for holding a removable scented insert. The pocket is an integral part of the cover or a removable pocket which is held on to the outside of the cover with an adhesive, for example. The aromatic insert is a scent impregnated porous plastic insert or plastic insert having a permeable layer sealed with nonpermeable peel-able layers of plastic or paper film wherein a top layer is removed as desired, thus releasing the desired aroma. The exterior surface of the pocket is porous or includes apertures or slits for transferring the scent outside of the pocket insert holder. The present invention provides pleasant fragrant smell from the electronic device to which a fragrance dispenser is attached. The disadvantage of the present invention is that the perfume liquid cannot be sprayed out from the fragrance dispenser to the surrounding air or body.
[0008] The France Patent Publication No FR2926445A1 discloses “Mini perfume sprayer for being attached to mobile telephone, has hooking system for attaching sprayer to portable telephone, and filter system to avoid unexpected emerging of liquid from bottle when bottle is in tilted position”. The sprayer has a mini bottle having spraying function and integrated with a screw-able lid, where the bottle contains perfume. A filter system is arranged in a manner to avoid unexpected emerging of the liquid i.e. perfume, from the bottle when the bottle is in tilted position. A circular ring made of a hooking system is attached to the sprayer to a portable telephone via a mini cord, where the cover is formed of sealing joints. The disadvantage of the present invention is that the attachment of mini-perfume sprayer is limited only to a telephonic device by means of an extra circular ring and the mini-perfume sprayer requires extra filter system to be arranged in the bottle in order to prevent the unexpected flow of the perfume liquid.
[0009] The mini-perfume spray devices described in the above-mentioned prior arts still suffer from several drawbacks.
[0010] Hence, there exists a need of a perfume spray device which is portable, which prevents accidental spraying of the perfume liquid and provides attachment system to attach a mini-perfume spray apparatus to any device as per the user’s requirement.
Summary of the invention:
[0011] The present invention overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art by providing an apparatus for instant perfume spraying with a provision for reducing accidental spraying. The apparatus comprises a mini-perfume spray container constructed from a resilient material which aids in securely containing the liquid fragrance within the mini-perfume spray container. The mini-perfume spray container is constructed to enable the fitment of the mini-spray perfume container with any external device such as flat surfaces of mobile cellular devices, personal computers, music players and other external devices. Further, the apparatus comprises a spray pump which is connected to the mini-perfume spray container, wherein the spray pump dispenses the liquid fragrance when manually actuated by one or more users.
[0012] A spray atomizer is housed within the spray pump through which the liquid fragrance changes physical state from liquid to gas and is dispensed for usage. The apparatus also comprises an accidental spray obstructer that prevents unintended actuation of the spray atomizer by providing a choice of slider or flap type mechanism to lock the spray atomizer thereby avoiding wastage of the perfume liquid. Further, at least two pairs of clips are attached to the mini-perfume spray container in order to detachably attach the apparatus to any external device with ease.
[0013] The size of the mini-perfume spray container makes the apparatus portable and enables the user to carry the apparatus for usage in any circumstance. At least two pairs of clips attached to the mini-perfume spray container further enhance the portability of the apparatus and enables the apparatus to be attached to any flat external surface. Accidental spraying of the liquid fragrance is greatly reduced by the implementation of the accidental spray obstructer which prevents the spray pump from being actuated when it is not required by restricting the movement of the spray pump when the accidental spray obstructer is engaged. Further, the accidental spray obstructer acts as a mechanical barrier for the spray atomizer and prevents the liquid fragrance from dripping out of the apparatus when its usage is unintended. The accidental spray obstructer is implemented in either a slider mechanism or flap mechanism as per the requirement of one or more users.

Detailed description of the invention:
[0019] Reference will now be made in detail to the description of the present subject matter, one or more examples of which are shown in figures. Each example is provided to explain the subject matter and not a limitation. Various changes and modifications obvious to one skilled in the art to which the invention pertains are deemed to be within the spirit, scope and contemplation of the invention.
[0020] The present invention provides an apparatus for instant perfume spraying with an accidental spray obstructer. The spray pump dispenses liquid perfume from a mini-perfume spray container towards nozzle upon manual actuation of the spray atomizer. The accidental spray obstructer prevents unintended actuation of the spray atomizer by enabling the provision of a slider or flap type mechanism to lock the spray atomizer thereby avoiding wastage of the perfume. The apparatus comprises two pairs of clips provided at the rear end of the mini-perfume spray container which enables the apparatus to be attached with an external device as per the user’s requirement.
[0021] Figure 1a illustrates an apparatus (100) for instant perfume spraying with a provision for reducing accidental spraying. The apparatus (100) comprises a mini-perfume spray container (101), spray pump (102), spray atomizer (103), and an accidental spray obstructer (104). The mini-perfume spray container (101) is a circular shaped container preferably made up of a polypropylene material which is placed at the bottom of the apparatus (100). The spray pump (102) is inserted into the mini-perfume spray container (101) such that the tube of the spray pump (102) is submerged in the liquid fragrance present inside the mini-perfume spray container (101). The spray atomizer (103) is disposed on top of the mini-perfume spray container (101) and the base of the spray atomizer (103) is connected to the spray pump (102). The accidental spray obstructer (104) is enabled with a provision of a slide type or flap type opening provided on the surface of the mini-perfume spray container (101) for the purpose of enclosing the spray atomizer (103) by engaging the accidental spray obstructer (104).
[0022] The mini-perfume spray container (101) is shaped cylindrically and may have a pre-defined diameter such as in the range of 45-55 millimeters and thickness such as in the range of 10-12 millimeters. The liquid fragrance is administered inside the mini-perfume spray container (101) and the spray pump (102) dispenses the liquid fragrance from the mini-perfume spray container (101) upon manual actuation of the spray atomizer (103). The liquid fragrance is dispensed out through a nozzle placed in the spray atomizer (103) directly onto the body or apparel of the user. The liquid fragrance dispensed from the mini-perfume spray container (101) for each stroke in the spray atomizer (103) is very less in quantity such as 0.07 milliliters.
[0023] Figures 1b and 1c illustrate the accidental spray obstructer (104) in disengaged and engaged configurations of the slider type mechanism. In this mechanism, a slider (104a) slides along the guide of the mini-perfume spray container (101) thereby locking the spray atomizer (103). The accidental spray obstructer (104) prevents faulty actuation of the spray atomizer (103) by the user. When the user wants to spray the fragrance, the accidental spray obstructer (104) is disengaged, thereby allowing the user to access the spray atomizer (103).
[0024] Figures 1d and 1e illustrate the accidental spray obstructer (104) in disengaged and engaged configurations of the flap type mechanism. In this mechanism, a flap (104b) unlocks the guide of the mini-perfume spray container (101) from one side thereby allowing the user to access the spray atomizer (103). The accidental spray obstructer (104) prevents faulty actuation of the spray atomizer (103) by the user. When the user wants to spray the fragrance, the accidental spray obstructer (104) is disengaged thereby allowing the user to access the spray atomizer (103).
[0025] Figure 1f illustrates the clips (105) provided at the rear-end of the mini perfume spray container (101). At least two pair of clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d) are detachably attached to an external device by means of a collapsible grip accessory fixed to at least two pairs of clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d). The clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d) ensure reliable and secure fitment of the apparatus (100) to flat surfaces of external devices such as mobile phone covers, laptop surfaces, wallet surfaces and so on.
[0026] Thus, the present invention provides an apparatus (100) for instant perfume spraying with an accidental spray obstructer (104), which does not require external power supply since it works on a simple, effective and in-expensive micro-sprayer mechanism to spray or dispense perfume instantly by means of a spray pump (102). The accidental spray obstructer (104) prevents wastage of the perfume liquid by locking the spray atomizer (103). Further, the apparatus (100) provides at least two pairs of clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d) to facilitate attachment of the apparatus (100) to any device thereby making it portable for the user.

,CLAIMS:We claim:
1. An apparatus (100) for instant perfume spraying with a provision for reducing accidental spraying, the apparatus comprising:
a. a mini-perfume spray container (101) for containing the liquid fragrance;
b. a spray pump (102) which is mechanically connected atop the mini-perfume spray container (101) for administering or dispensing the liquid fragrance from the mini-perfume spray container (101) upon actuation of the spray pump (102);
c. a spray atomizer (103) which is housed within the spray pump (102) through which the liquid fragrance changes physical state from liquid to gas and is dispensed upon actuation of the spray pump (102);
d. an accidental spray obstructer (104) that is mechanically connected to the spray atomizer (103), wherein the accidental spray obstructer (104) prevents the spray pump (102) from being actuated by locking the spray pump when it is not required and comprises:
i. a slider mechanism (104a) or flap mechanism (104b) which ensures elimination of accidental spraying of the liquid fragrance when the spray pump (102) is actuated;
e. at least two pairs of clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d) provided at the rear-end of the mini-perfume spray container (101), wherein the pairs of clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d) enable the fitment of the mini-perfume spray container (101) with an external device using a collapsible grip accessory which is affixed to at least two pairs of clips (105a, 105b, 105c, 105d).
2. The apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the exterior construction of the mini-perfume spray container (101) enables comfortable fitment of the mini-perfume spray container (101) with an external device.
3. The apparatus (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mini-perfume spray container (101) is constructed from a resilient material which aids in securely containing the liquid fragrance within the mini-perfume spray container (101).
4. The apparatus (101) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the spray pump (102) comprises a mechanical means of actuation which facilitates the instantaneous dispersion of liquid fragrance from the mini-perfume spray container (101).
