Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a compact and automatic interlock system comprises a gas flow sensor to sense and measure the flow rate of gases, an inlet hose for gas inlet, an outlet hose for gas outlet, electromagnetic relays for activation and de-activation of the system, indication lamps for visual signification of presence of shield gas, and a gas cylinder for storing argon gas. Hence, a high energy efficient, compact & automatic interlock system has been developed to ensure Argon gas purging in the inner side of the tube during weld operation in Induction Pressure Welding (IPW) Machine & eliminates the practice of manual process of Argon gas detection
