The main object of the invention is to develop electrical energy usage metering and electrical circuit control with integrated features of wireless home smart grid gateway inclusive of unique identifier (GUID) or meta-data that can be used for comparisons of data (related to electrical energy usage and control data, smart home grid data and media data) especially since the representation of the same logical entity is often different in different databases.
Another object of the present invention (Tbox module) is to provide a converter utility apparatus that normalizes all the various exchange formats supported by PIM, and fills default values for all important meta-data, like revision, last-modified, and GUID etc. The first time the Tbox is used to sync, it first collects all the information and into its own Parent DB and performs a merge, filling in all the needed fields as part of the converter utility.
Similarly, yet another object of the invention is to develop an apparatus which provides syncing data (contacts, tasks, calendar, pictures, music, video, podcasts) from internet to the Tbox Server and then onto the plurality of home devices like iPod, CellPhone, laptop etc, based on sync-profile setup in the Tbox box. This is done via multiple south-bound interfaces to home-devices such as Serial, Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet, and northbound to the Internet via Ethernet / WiFi / SIM-ME / USIM-ME interface connection to the Home Modem (DSL, WiMAX etc).

Hardware interface (7) is VGA out
Hardware interface (8) is VoIP Phone jack, Soft PBX for Home use
Hardware interface (9) is Serial
Hardware interface (10) is ZIGBY
Hardware interface (11) is Z-WAVE
Hardware interface (12) is GSM 11.11 SIM-ME
Hardware interface (13) is GSM 11.11 USIM-ME
Hardware interface (14) is 10/100/1000 Ethernet
Hardware interface (15) is interactive touch screen display
A converter utility that normalizes all the various exchange formats supported by PIM, and fills defauh values for all important meta-data, like Revision, Last-Modified, and GUID etc., the first time the Tbox is used to sync, it first collects all the info and into its own Parent DB and performs a merge, filling in all the needed fields as part of the converter utility.
The irmovation also provides the secure, deterministic and reliable data over the wireless and wired media using Zigbee, Z-Wave, and 802.1 la/ b/ g/ n protocols.
The present invention acts as key component of Smart Grid which helps reducing peak loading on the sub- station and generation unit by dynamically reducing transient load requirements and providing electrical energy dynamically to residential, commercial and industrial units.
There is provided "Reliability" of electrical energy supply and "Quality" of electrical energy supply to the smart grid deployed to residential, commercial and industrial units.
The following features are also provided as act to key component of smart grid: -
• Complete integration of dynamic pricing and demand/supply principles to manage the grid.
• dynamic balancing with centralized and distributed resources
• Real time monitoring of IPP injections into the Smart Grid.
• Sharing data of all generating stations, receiving stations and sub stations of the entire grid.
• Generation of daily sub-station reports
• Real time generation, transmission and consumption reports. Real time fault detection and isolation
• Operation of all the circuit breakers.
• Monitoring of all generating stations - Solar / Wind generation unit, Bio-mass generation unit.
A GUID for all PIM data are provided.
A superset of all properties with respect to a PIM type are provided.
By using device of the present invention interested members of a household keep track of other family members meeting, without actually being part of the meeting. Calendar invites are sent to "interested" family members, in a calendar-info mode, which is a novel concept.
Syncing music and videos from Internet to Tbox and further on to Media Devices in Home in a way that avoids duplicate entries. Usually if the same music is present with 2 diff file names, the music is synced twice. This claim does the hash-checksimi of the mp3/video content and does not sync if the file already exists (i.e. if the checksum match).
Auto upload and download of pictures to/from Picasca / Facebook etc from home devices based on User Profiles applied on the Tbox device.
The Tbox provides real time and scheduled remote monitoring and controlling of smart appliances.
Tbox provides real time and scheduled remote monitoring and controlling of smart home security devices using wireless sensors including smoke detection, fire detection, motion detection, temperature monitoring, humidity monitoring, and air quality monitoring.
A Home Device type (e.g. cell phone) registers with the Tbox, the Tbox remembers all the properties that this particular Home Device supports and marks it in its internal Database. This is done individually for all Home Devices. Later when this Home Device syncs with the Tbox, the Tbox now knows exactly what all properties this device understands, and can do clean sync (in both directions, picking up only those properties that were earlier registered with this Home Device).
The above also helps in the following scenario. Is a device supports the bare minimum information for a contact (for example, name and cell number), while another supports more (for example photo, office email addresses), plus non-standard extensions (spouse name) - the normalization in the Tbox to a common DB format, would ensure that each device is sent the info it supports.
