An Arc Chute Unit For A Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (Mccb)
Abstract: Described herein is an arc chute unit [122] for a pole assembly [102] of a moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) [100], comprising: an arc chute member [122a]; and an arc chute holder member [122b] including: a pair of vertically extending side portion [122c]; a front connecting portion [122g] extending between the pair of vertically extending side portion [122c]; and a rear connecting portion [122h] extending between the pair of vertically extending side portion [122c]. Notably, the arc chute holder member [122b] is adapted to fittingly hold the arc chute member [122a] over a base section [122d] defined in each of the pair of vertically extending side portions [122c], such that a side wall section [122e] defined in each of the pair of vertically extending side portions [122c] extend at least partially within the arc chute member [122a].
