Specification

Field of the Invention
The present invention particularly relates to an automated infant protection system for protecting the infants from falling from the bed.
Background of the Invention
Most times while sleeping the infants roll towards the edge of the bed and falls down due to lack of any kind of support and gets injured sometimes minor sometimes major. Sometimes the parents are unable to take care of the child due to any circumstances.
US8782836B2 says that a restraint device is disclosed for immobilizing an object, such as a child during diapering. The restraint device includes a strap extending through a base at a midsection thereof to prevent the object from rolling in a lateral direction. The device can also include a harness located within a pad of the base to firmly hold the strap in place. The harness can have a stiffness greater than the pad to provide the rigidity necessary to hold the strap in place, while having a hardness less than the support to provide comfort to the object restrained on the device. A cover can surround the base and can include sleeves to enclose a strap and protect the base from outside material such as excrement from a child.
Research Gap:
• The device is an automated system where human intervention is very less.
• The system uses a camera module for its working.
• The device is connected to the mobile phone through the internet.
• Gets activated whenever the infant approaches the side of the bed.
CN106510297A says that the invention provides a falling prevention bed with a falling protection device. The falling prevention bed comprises a falling prevention bed body, the protection device, and inflatable bags. The falling prevention bed body comprises baffles and a bed board. The baffles are installed at the bed head and the bed tail of the bed board correspondingly. The protection device comprises a third buffer layer. A plurality of hooks is installed on the two sides of the bottom of the third buffer layer. Each hook relates to one end of the corresponding inflatable bag in a hooked mode, and the other end of each inflatable bag is movably connected to the corresponding baffle. According to the falling prevention bed with the falling protection device, an infant can be effectively prevented from falling off the bed directly, meanwhile, the protection device can be directly pushed into the bottom of the falling prevention bed body when not needed, the space is saved, operation is easy, humanization and professionalization are higher, the falling prevention bed is suitable for being applied and popularized in homes, through the arrangement of the inflatable bags, the infant can be effectively prevented from falling from the two ends of the protection device, and the inflatable bags are filled with air, so that the infant is effectively prevented from being injured after knocking against or bumping into something.
Research Gap:
• The system is motorized I.e., equipped by motors on the hinges which comes up when the child is near the bed side.
• the reaction time of the device when installed quite low and way efficient than any conventional method.
• In terms of space consumed, the device is installed only once on the side of the bed. Hence consuming a minimal space.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts, in a simplified format, that are further described in the detailed description of the invention.
This summary is neither intended to identify key or essential inventive concepts of the invention and nor is it intended for determining the scope of the invention.
Most times while sleeping the infants roll towards the edge of the bed and falls down due to lack of any kind of support and gets injured sometimes minor sometimes major. Sometimes the parents are unable to take care of the child due to any circumstances.
Figure 1. displays the generalized diagram of the invention in which the whole system is defined. The arms ((101), (102), (103)) are attached to the bed (106) through a hinge system which allows the arms to move when the baby is approaching the side of the bed (106). The whole process is governed by the camera module (105) there the camera sensor and computing unit rests. The dotted lines shown in figure 1 are the imaginary lines which can only been seen by the camera and computing unit through which the system can judge whether the infant can fall or is safe.
