The present invention lies in an automatic wounded cops / bobbin feeding mechanism for magazine winding machine. Said automatic wounded cops / bobbin feeding mechanism comprises a longitudinal movement conveying elements; a cops tilting mechanism; a cops lifting mechanism; a yarn extraction system, a rotating mechanism and a control unit. Said longitudinal movement conveying elements comprising an electrically operated motor adapted to run a plurality of conveyor drive rollers, thereby running a track being in surface contact with said rollers to transport plurality of cops trays. Said Cops lifting mechanism comprises an automatic three axis pick and place mechanism adapted to pick the cops from the track and place the wounded cops into the magazine by using the motor with three axis screw rod/cylinder, two conversion plates/ pushing plates fitted at top sides of the cops tray and connected with a delivery chute. Said cops tilting mechanism is adapted to tilt the cops for its proper orientation in the delivery chute through a changeover mechanism. Said yarn extraction system comprises a suction nozzle adapted to suck the yarn end and a gripper to maintain the proper gripes between the wounded yarn and its tube. Said rotating mechanism adapted to rotate the wounded cops with respect to its orientation. Said control unit is configured to control the movements of said cops tilting mechanism, rotating mechanism and pick and place mechanism upon receiving signals from a plurality of sensors positioned at those mechanisms.

Present invention is detachable and independent and the stability of the whole system remained almost unaffected. The wounded cops / bobbin feeding automatic mechanism for magazine winding machine is able to place the wounded cops in the magazine with respect to the yarn orientation by means of pneumatic/ screw rod control mechanism within its operation. Said wounded cops / bobbin feeding automatic mechanism consists of longitudinal movement conveying elements, Cops tilting mechanism, Cops lifting mechanism, yarn extraction system and rotating mechanism. Said mechanisms are connected by longitudinal travel motor operated conveying elements. Said wounded cops / bobbin feeding automatic mechanism further comprises a controlled frequency chamber assembly connected with an orientation changer mechanism and the rest of the mechanisms are connected with electric drive control which is controlled by sensor. A mini hopper is attached with controlled frequency chamber at bottom of the conveyor, consists of nylon bush to carry the wounded cops. The controlled frequency chamber is used to store the wounded cops and is having the provision for deliver the cops to the orientation and its change over mechanism. This entire assembly is fitted with bottom railing and its support.

In one of the embodiment of present invention, there is provided a geared motor adapted to run the system and the controlled frequency chamber deliver the wounded cops one by one into the rotating mechanism. The rotating mechanism rotate the wounded cops with respect to its orientation and the pulling mechanism pull the yarn end and insert into the cops and the cops locate into the nylon bush. Due to the travel system, the cops/bobbin with nylon bush travel along with holder. The three-axis rotating pick and place mechanism pick the cops and place into the magazine. The three-axis rotating pick and place mechanism will run up to the entire length of the machine. There are two cop changer plates are fitted at top sides of the cops tray and it is connected with delivery chute. These arrangements are used to hold and drop a cop on the tray and then change its orientation and drop into the delivery chute.

Due to the provision of cops’ travel mechanism, the bottom track facility and its actuation mechanism, it does not create much movement of cops into the belt conveyor and maintain the comfortability. The speed of the cop belt conveyor is 2 m/min. The operation will be repeated to reach the cops into the conveyor and then cops will be placed in to the magazine by the three axis arm.

Figure 1 illustrates the overall view of the wounded cops segregation and orientation of the hopper arrangement (1) and conveying system (2) and tilting indexing mechanism (3) and its assembly and the front view of the cops transporting box with auto cop orientation system according to the present invention.
