FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an automatic jack.
PRIOR ART
Presently available, motorized jack either uses hydraulic power, balloon jack or manual jack operated by motor additionally. The known technologies consume more electricity of about 18A to 20A to lift up and require 8A and 1m for lifting down. Further, all jacks lift up or down vertically.

US 5,085,407 relates to a motorized jack assemblage for vehicles. This takes the form of a kit containing a motor and reduction gear linkage adapted to be energized from the cigarette lighter or other source of electrical power in the vehicle. The gear linkage is adapted to drive mechanical coupling means, which keys into and operates a lift jack, which in one case is part of the standard equipment for the vehicle, and in another case is a jack with a specialized base which is part of the kit.
IN 196928 In the field of lifting devices, conventional Jacks like Screw Jacks, Pneumatic & Hydro-Pneumatic Jacks are used. But they've disadvantages in the form of complex mechanisms, heavy equipments, operational risk 8s requirement of more effort. So as a one device solution to all these problems, this Hydraulic Jack was conceptualized. Herein, 4 Hydraulic Jacks are provided to at suitable places near the 4 wheels of

the vehicle. A manually operated Non-Return Valve is provided at on the fluid line from master cylinder to a 5-way valve so that fluid does not return back to the master cylinder. With the pressing of brake pedal, the fluid goes from master cylinder to the 5-way valve & then to the jack on the tyre which is to be lifted, all by operating a knob on the dashboard of vehicle.
WO 2004/069596 A2 A motorized scissor jack is provided including upper and lower limit switches. The motor is connected with a drive assembly that extends and retracts the jack through a displacement screw. The motor has two speeds. The jack is connectable to a vehicular or standard alternating current power source. The upper and lower limit switches limit the extension and retraction of the jack to defined peak and bottom points. The jack is configured for operation in inclement weather.
WO 2002/066361 A lightweight, portable jack for a wheeled vehicle is provided. The jack includes a high-torque electric motor (18) adapted to use the electric power supply from the vehicle through electrical connectors connectable to the terminals of the vehicle battery (42) or through use of an electrical connector which may be plugged in to the cigarette lighter receptacle. The jack is fully movable from a recessed position within a low profile casing and is operated by a remote control device (53) so that is can lift the wheel of a vehicle from an operator position well out of the path of traffic or, if desired, from inside the vehicle. The jack disclosed is of lightweight construction so that it can be removed from storage and positioned by practical.

IN207127 A motor-operated jack for vehicles is disclosed. In the motor-operated jack of this invention, a lifting unit consists of a spiral lifting ram (105) having an internal thread (105a) limitedly formed at a lower portion of spiral lifting ram (105), thus reducing its frictional resistance. A pin (103c) is held in a horizontal groove (103b) formed at the top end of a primary screw (103). This pin is slightly projected into two longitudinal holes symmetrically formed at the top portion of a secondary screw (104). A coil spring (103d), a spring cover (103e) and a snap ring (103f) a sequentially laid on the top of the pin (103c) such that the snap ring (103f) is seated in an annular groove (104d) formed the inner surface of the top one of the secondary screw (104) , thus allowing the coil spring to bias the pin (103c). This second screw (104) is thus prevented from being raised along with spiral lifting ram (105). A support ram "(107) , having a top support (107a) and an external thread (107b), is movably fitted in a gap between the secondary screw (104) and the spiral lifting ram (105)

while engaging with an internal thread (105c) of the spiral lifting ram (105) at the external thread (107b), thus allowing user to control the moving stroke of the lifting unit as desired.

The multifunctional electric jack has the double functions of both jack and electric spanner, and especially, the control switch circuit makes it possible for the jack to stop in any required position, stop automatically after reaching the rated...
IN 197887 The invention provides an apparatus for lifting small four-wheeler or three-wheeler vehicles. It consists of a helical compression spring, which rests on a rectangular base plate. The energy stored in the helical compression spring, in the compressed condition is used to lift the load of the vehicle. A standing lever is manually operated to compress and decompress the helical compression spring. A rectangular link accommodates one end of this standing lever and also directs a pushrod. One end of the push rod is directed by the inclined slots in the rectangular link and its other end is guided.by pushrod guides moving inside a cylinder which is threaded partially at outside. To keep the helical compression spring in compressed condition, a locking hook to the rectangular link and a hinged hook that is hinged to the rectangular base plate are incorporated. The hinged hook is moved by a set of tension springs, one of which is fixed to the rectangular base plate.

threaded shaft. The ring gear has a toothed inner perimeter engaging the threaded shafts. An interconnected set of gears is provided in the housing to connect the ring gear to a rotating shaft of the motor. A lifting head is coupled to the top end of the threaded shaft.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to provide an automatic jack, which overcomes disadvantages associated with the prior arts.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an automatic jack, which is simple in construction.
Further object of the present invention is to provide an automatic jack, which is efficient.
Yet further object of the present invention is to provide an automatic jack, which can also be operated manually.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided an automatic jack comprising of a motor connected to a screw by means of a gear to actuate lowering/lifting arms connected to each other.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWING

Further objects and advantages of this invention will be more apparent from the ensuing description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawing and wherein:
Fig. 1 shows: Automatic jack of the present invention.
DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE DRAWING
The present invention discloses an automatic jack as shown in fig. 1. Said jack comprising of a tubular section accommodating D.C. motor connected to a planetary gear. The planetary gear is provided in connection with a screw. Said screw is disposed between bearing on both sides.
Said planetary gear comprising of a number of gear tiers. The motor drives central gear of first tier of gears in which the central gear drives both side gears mounted on a disc to transmit the power to central gear of second tier of gears. Again, said central gear of second tier drives both side gears mounted on another disc in the same manner described hereinabove.
Finally, the screw gets operational to actuate lifting/lowering arm connected thereto by means of a nut. Further, the D.C motor is connected to a lifting/lowering arm.

The aforesaid arms are provided outside the tube and connected to each other as shown. The upper arm is provided with a resting point to support the vehicle.
Said jack is provided with a stand at the bottom. The jack thus obtained is connected to a cable provided with a switch wherein farther end of said cable is connected with the car for drawing power from the car battery during use. The switch is used for lifting or lowering the arms.
The jack of the instant invention can also be operated manually in case of power failure.
The jack consumes only approx. 1.5 Amp to lift up in two minutes and approx. 1 Amp to bring down in one minute. This is because the movement takes place in angular manner whereas in the prior art the movement occurs vertically, which requires more power and time.
Advantageous Features
- Stays fixed in uplifted condition.
- Cost effective.
- Higher load carrying capacity.
- Angular movement of the lowering/lifting arms.
- Consumes very less electricity and time during operation.
- Can lift even a fully loaded four wheelers/six wheelers.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM:
