, Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to electrical devices in vehicles. In particular, the present disclosure pertains to a design of a top cover and mounting brackets for an electric component assembly.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Fuse or relay box covers are casings that surround electrical fuses in order to provide insulation and protection against water or contamination. Fuse or relay box covers can be used in conjunction with fuse or relay box holders or cassettes designed to hold the fuse or relay itself.
[0004] However, in the existing covers there is no common design of the top cover for different varieties of cassettes. Each cassette requires its own cover design, also combined assembled cassettes fit in frame and single cover fits on frame. Only single variant cassettes are used under each cover. Hence designing top covers for every cassette is not only time consuming but also expensive as well. Moreover, mounting provision is inbuilt in cassette or frame and hence it is not possible to interchange its location as per requirement. Further, assembly of top cover and mounting brackets with the cassette are interdependent on each other.
[0005] Therefore, there is a requirement of a design of a top cover and a mounting provision that can overcome aforementioned problems and challenges in the art.
[0006] All publications herein are incorporated by reference to the same extent as if each individual publication or patent application were specifically and individually indicated to be incorporated by reference. Where a definition or use of a term in an incorporated reference is inconsistent or contrary to the definition of that term provided herein, the definition of that term provided herein applies and the definition of that term in the reference does not apply.
OBJECTS OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE
[0007] Some of the objects of the present disclosure aimed to ameliorate one or more problems of the prior art or to at least provide a useful alternative are listed herein below:
[0008] An object of the present disclosure is to provide for top cover design that can cover multiple number of cassettes and combinations thereof.
[0009] An object of the present disclosure is to provide for a mounting bracket that can fit to any cassette as per the position requirement.
[0010] An object of the present disclosure is to provide for a top cover and mounting brackets that are independent of each other.
