Abstract: ABSTRACT “AN ELECTRONIC MULTI FRAGRANCE DISPENSER SYSTEM THROUGH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION AND A METHOD THEREOF” The invention provides a method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in order to achieve the diffusion of customized fragrance and a combination of multiple fragrance(s) in a single module through wireless communication. The present invention proposed a system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser comprising control system (101), stepper motor controlled rotating table (102), fragrance vaporizing system (103), linearly actuated stepper motor (104), plurality of fragrance cartridges (105), underneath stepper motor (106) and blower fan. Figure 1 on sheet no. 1 of the drawings may accompany the abstract when published.
DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic fragrance dispenser through wireless communication. More particularly, the invention provides the electronic fragrance dispenser including bipolar stepper motor(s) for achieving diffusion of customized fragrance and a combining of multiple fragrance(s) in a single system. Moreover, this invention is controlled through smartphone which makes it pragmatic, reliable and user friendly for the consumers to adopt it.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Aroma emitting devices are well known and are commonly used in homes and commercial establishments to provide a pleasant atmosphere for people in given areas. Such devices passively or actively transmit aromas to the general surroundings. Examples of passive devices include air wicks, scented gel-packs, and aromatic sticks resting in a bottle of aromatic liquid and protruding out of the bottle so that the liquid is absorbed and drawn upward through the stick where upon, the liquid evaporates from the surface of the stick. One type of active aromatic device is plugged into an electrical power outlet, whereupon, a small heating element heats an aromatic liquid containing member thus causing the liquid to evaporate and escape into the adjacent surroundings. Another example of an active aromatic device is powered by battery or wall outlet and sprays an aromatic mist periodically into a room. Aromatic devices are commonly used by individuals who enjoy various selected scents. Further, the use of such aromatic devices has been found to improve or enhance the general demeanour of individuals in a particular surroundings. Certain scents have been found to cause desirable mood changes in people in general.
Devices that are only capable of dispensing a single scent suffer from the drawback that, after a relatively brief period of time, people become used to the scent and do not tend to notice it as much as when the device is first activated. In other words, "fragrance fatigue" can occur whereby a person's olfactory organ becomes "saturated" with a particular smell or fragrance and the individual becomes insensitive to the presence of the particular fragrance. Therefore, some efforts have been directed toward developing devices capable of emitting a single scent that address the problem of fragrance fatigue. Other efforts have been made to develop devices that are capable of emitting multiple scents. A number of patents have been directed to devices that are capable of emitting multiple scents.
Few conventional fragrance dispensers include basic components such as a motor for driving a fan, an electrical or mechanical power source for supplying power to the motor, and a fragrance source. These conventional fragrance dispensers however have several disadvantages. Some of the key drawbacks generally include an excessive number of components, which can make the device difficult and expensive to manufacture. Additionally, because of the excessive number of components, the odds of essential components being damaged or destroyed during use is increased, thus rendering the device inoperable. Because of design flaws, conventional fragrance dispensers can also be dangerous to operate as they may require the handling of corrosive components such as batteries, which may be corroded by, for example, interaction with the fragrance material or other such materials. Moreover, for the average consumer, conventional devices can be difficult to operate as they may require sophisticated assembly, disassembly and operation procedures.
WO2017062485A1 is a scent dispenser suitable for use in enclosed environments, for instance for use in vehicles. The scent dispenser includes a housing, a holder having a number of scent cartridge receivers to a hold a number of scent cartridges, and a number of baffles or shutters, each with a port, and which are selectively positionable with respect to respective ones of the scent cartridge receivers and, hence, with respect to the scent cartridges held by the scent cartridge receivers to selectively dispense scent from the scent cartridges. This invention lacks in achieving accurate dispensing of the fragrance in the fragrance system and further this invention does not provide a consumer with option of a customized fragrance as per choice of the user.
While conventional fragrance dispensing devices provide a means of automatically dispensing fragrance, such devices are often difficult to operate because of their design complexity. Such devices also do not adequately dispense fragrance over a large area. Moreover, such devices include multiple components that can be difficult to manufacture and assemble, thus making the device expensive and unreliable. Therefore, there is a need exists for an electronic multi fragrance dispenser through wireless communication that can be easily assembled, includes fewer parts, and it can be operated by the user in a highly convenient, simple manual fashion but that can also be provided with programming control, and that can be manufactured, and hence sold, at a low cost.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of this invention is to provide a method and system of an electronic multi fragrance dispenser through wireless communication.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an electronic multi fragrance dispenser system comprising two bipolar stepper motors, microcontroller board, a plurality of fragrance cartridges, mixing pan with magnetic stirrer & heater and blower fan.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in order to achieve the diffusion of customized fragrance and a combination of multiple fragrance(s) in a single module.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser which is controlled through Smartphone in order to make it pragmatic, reliable and user friendly for the consumers to adopt it.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser which is controlled by Bluetooth through an android application.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an electronic multi fragrance dispenser system which dispenses fragrance in micro liter range.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the precise dispensing and dispersing mechanism in a single system.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide electronic multi fragrance dispenser system which mainly requires 2 bipolar steppers motors with 1.8-degree rotation angle.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide first stepper motor with a linear actuator with the pitch length of 1.25 mm.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the linear actuator with minute pitch length which is used to control the dispensing mechanism accurately in a vertical architecture.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the second underneath stepper motor which comprises 10-12 fragrance cartridges at desired position for accurate dispensing.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the required operating voltage and current of electronic multi fragrance dispenser system.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in which input code is send by the user through android app.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in which the input code is transmitted to ATMEGA micro controller through Bluetooth.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a heart of the electronic multi fragrance dispenser system which is a micro controller.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide microcontroller which is used to control electronic multi fragrance dispenser by means of two bipolar stepper motor and integrated chips.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide accurate dispensing by means of underneath stepper motor which rotates in a circular direction.
Yet another object of the present invention is to dispense the required amount of fragrance by means of linearly actuated stepper motor which rotates in a vertical direction.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a method of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in which fragrance drops are collected in a small pan and dispersed to environment by magnetically controlled stirrer, blower fan and a heater.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, the main embodiment is to provide a method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in order to achieve the diffusion of customized fragrance and a combination of multiple fragrance(s) in a single module through wireless communication.
In yet another embodiment of the present invention is proposed a system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser comprising control system, stepper motor controlled rotating table, fragrance vaporizing system, linearly actuated stepper motor, plurality of fragrance cartridges , underneath stepper motor and blower fan.
In yet another embodiment of the present invention is proposed a system in which it is controlled through smartphone in order to make it pragmatic, reliable and user friendly for the consumers to adopt it. This invention provides precise dispensing and dispersing mechanism in a single system at the same time dispenses fragrance in microliter range with an appropriate linear movement of stepper motor.
In yet another embodiment of the present invention is proposed a system which mainly requires 2 bipolar steppers motors with 1.8-degree rotation angle. In this, first linearly actuated stepper motor having a pitch length of 1.25 mm which is used to control the dispensing mechanism accurately in a vertical architecture and second underneath stepper motor which comprises a plurality of fragrance cartridges at desired position for accurate dispensing. A fragrance vaporizing system comprises a mixing pan, a stirrer that is preferably a magnetic stirrer and a heating element that is preferably a heating nichrome wire.
In yet another embodiment of the present invention, input code is send by the user wirelessly using a smart device through an inbuilt application i.e. android app which is transmitted to the control system i.e. an ATMEGA microcontroller through a wireless communication channel preferably Bluetooth. ATMEGA microcontroller is the heart of the electronic multi fragrance dispenser system which is used to control by means of two bipolar stepper motor and integrated chips. This invention provides accurate dispensing by means of underneath stepper motor which rotates in a circular direction simultaneously dispenses the required amount of fragrance by means of linearly actuated stepper motor which moves the linear actuator in a vertical direction. Now the fragrance drops are collected in a small pan and dispersed to environment by magnetically controlled stirrer, blower fan and a heater.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will now be described in detail hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in which a preferred embodiment of the invention is shown. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiment set forth herein. Rather, the embodiment is provided so that this disclosure will be thorough, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
In the main embodiment of the present invention, the invention relates to the method and system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser in order to achieve the diffusion of customized fragrance and a combination of multiple fragrance(s) in a single module through wireless communication.
In another embodiment, the present invention provides a system of electronic multi fragrance dispenser comprising control system (101) comprising a microcontroller board, stepper motor controlled rotating table (102), fragrance vaporizing system (103) comprising a mixing pan with magnetic stirrer & heater (103), a linearly actuated stepper motor (104), a plurality fragrance cartridges (105), an underneath stepper motor (106) and blower fan (107).
Referring to Fig. 1, the present invention relates to a system in which it is controlled through a smart device such as a smart phone in order to make it pragmatic, reliable and user friendly for the consumers to adopt it. This invention provides precise dispensing and dispersing mechanism in a single system at the same time that dispenses fragrance in microlitre range with an appropriate linear movement of stepper motor. Therefore, the multi fragrance dispenser system (100) comprises of:
a) a housing (108) having at least one opening (107) and a blower fan for fragrance dispersion;
b) a plurality of cartridges (105) each cartridge containing a fragrance;
c) a rotating table (102) having a plurality of grooves to removably hold the plurality of cartridges (105);
d) at least one stepper motor (106) positioned below the rotating table (102) for rotating said rotating table (106);
e) at least one linear actuated stepper motor (104) positioned above the rotating table (102) for selectively dispensing fragrance from said cartridge (105);
f) a fragrance vaporizing system (103) positioned below the rotating table (102) for collection and vaporization of the fragrance, said vaporizing system being controlled by a control system (101) paired with a wireless input unit; and
g) a power supply unit for powering the blower fan, control system (101) and said stepper motors (104), (106);
wherein,
said linear actuated stepper motor (104) has a predefined pitch length to allow vertical pressing and dispensing a desired amount of fragrance into the fragrance vaporizing system (103);
said stepper motor (106) allows selective rotation of rotating table containing the fragrance cartridges (105), further allowing selectively dispensing multiple fragrances from said cartridges (105) to the fragrance vaporizing system (103); and
said fragrance vaporizing system (103) comprises of a mixing pan with a magnetic stirrer for collecting and mixing a plurality of fragrances and a heating element for vaporizing the fragrance collected in the mixing pan.
The present invention relates to a system that preferably requires 2 bipolar steppers motors with 1.8-degree rotation angle. In this, first linearly actuated stepper motor (104) having a pitch length of 1.25 mm is used to control the dispensing mechanism accurately in a vertical architecture and second underneath stepper motor (106) which comprises a plurality of fragrance cartridges (105) at desired position for accurate dispensing. Here, the power supply unit is preferably a 12 V and 2A power supply.
In another embodiment, input command is sent by the user using a smart device through an inbuilt application i.e. android application which is transmitted to control system comprising an ATMEGA microcontroller (101) through wireless communication means i.e. Bluetooth. ATMEGA microcontroller is the heart of the electronic multi fragrance dispenser system which is used to control by means of two bipolar stepper motor and integrated chips. This invention provides accurate dispensing by means of underneath stepper motor (106) which rotates in a circular direction simultaneously dispenses the required amount of fragrance by means of linearly actuated stepper motor (104) which rotates in a vertical direction. Now the fragrance drops are collected in a small pan (103) and dispersed to environment by magnetically controlled stirrer, blower fan (107) and a heater. The method of multiple fragrance dispensing using multi fragrance dispenser system (100) comprising the steps of:
a) receiving an input command wirelessly from an input unit for dispensing fragrance;
a) rotating a rotating table (102) removably holding a plurality of fragrance cartridges (105) using at least one stepper motor (106) positioned below the rotating table (102) upon actuation from input command in step a);
b) resting the rotating table (102) after rotation in step b) to a position to dispense the fragrance to a fragrance vaporization system (103);
c) dispensing fragrance in a desired amount in mixing pan to press fragrance cartridge by vertically moving a linear actuated stepper motor (104) after rotating table (102) rests to a position in step c);
d) vaporizing the fragrance dispensed in step d) by simultaneous stirring and heating of fragrance in the fragrance vaporization system (103); and
e) dispersing the vaporized fragrance obtained from step e) using a blower fan;
wherein,
multiple fragrance is dispensable by repeating steps b) to d) for plurality of fragrances before vaporizing of fragrance in step e);
said stepper motors (106) is bipolar and has a rotation angle of 1.8 degree; and
the desired amount of fragrance is in range of 20 to 50 micro liters per press.
EXAMPLE 1
Dispensing two fragrances using the multi-fragrance dispenser system
The multi fragrance system comprising at least one housing (108) having at least one opening (107) and a blower fan; a plurality of fragrance cartridges (105) each containing a fragrance; a rotating table (102) holding plurality of cartridges (105); at least one stepper motor (106); at least one linear actuated stepper motor (104); a fragrance vaporizing system (103) comprising a mixing pan, magnetic stirrer and heating element; a control system (101) paired with a wireless input unit; and at least one power supply unit for powering the multi-fragrance dispenser system.
The multi-fragrance system is paired with a smart device preferably a smart phone via a wireless communication means such as Bluetooth. The smart device is having or installed with an application where the user can choose a single or plurality of fragrance of choice for dispensing. Therefore, dispensing two fragrances comprises the steps of:
a) opting code for fragrance 1 and fragrance 2 for dispensing in an application in the smart phone;
b) pairing the smart phone with the multi-fragrance dispenser via a wireless communication channel such as Bluetooth;
c) sending the command for dispensing to multi-fragrance dispenser from smart phone;
d) receiving the command by microcontroller for dispensing fragrance 1 and fragrance 2;
e) rotating the rotating table by actuating underneath stepper motor on receiving microcontroller command to position of fragrance 1 cartridge and resting it;
f) actuating the linear actuated stepper motor to vertically move the linear actuator to dispense the fragrance 1 into the mixing pan;
g) repeating steps e) to f) for dispensing fragrance 2 in the mixing pan;
h) stirring fragrance 1 and fragrance 2 using a magnetic stirrer for customized fragrance as per choice of user;
i) vaporizing the customized fragrance using a heating element; and
j) dispersing the vaporized fragrance using a blower fan.
Here, the customized fragrance is a mixture of fragrance 1 and fragrance 2 selected by the user such as rose as fragrance 1 and jasmine as fragrance 2. Likewise the user can choose from as many cartridges installed in the multi-fragrance dispenser. A multi-fragrance dispenser can hold up to 10-12 cartridges at the same time in the rotating table. However, the multi-fragrance dispenser can be scaled to hold more fragrances in the rotating table.
EXAMPLE 2
Dispensing three fragrances using the multi-fragrance dispenser system
The multi-fragrance system is paired with a smart device preferably a smart phone via a wireless communication means such as Bluetooth. The smart device is having or installed with an application where the user can choose a single or plurality of fragrance of choice for dispensing. Therefore, dispensing three fragrances comprises the steps of:
a) opting code for fragrance 1, fragrance 2 and fragrance 3 for dispensing in an application in the smart phone;
b) pairing the smart phone with the multi-fragrance dispenser via a wireless communication channel such as Bluetooth;
c) sending the command for dispensing to multi-fragrance dispenser from smart phone;
d) receiving the command by microcontroller for dispensing fragrance 1 and fragrance 2;
e) rotating the rotating table by actuating underneath stepper motor on receiving microcontroller command to position of fragrance 1 cartridge and resting it;
f) actuating the linear actuated stepper motor to vertically move the linear actuator to dispense the fragrance 1 into the mixing pan;
g) repeating steps e) to f) for dispensing fragrance 2 and fragrance 3 in the mixing pan;
h) stirring fragrance 1, fragrance 2 and fragrance 3 using a magnetic stirrer for customized fragrance as per choice of user;
i) vaporizing the customized fragrance using a heating element; and
j) dispersing the vaporized fragrance using a blower fan.
Here, the customized fragrance is a mixture of fragrance 1, fragrance 2 and fragrance 3 selected by the user such as rose as fragrance 1, lavender as fragrance 2 and jasmine as fragrance 3. Likewise the user can choose from as many cartridges installed in the multi-fragrance dispenser. A multi-fragrance dispenser can hold up to 10-12 cartridges at the same time in the rotating table. However, the multi-fragrance dispenser can be scaled to hold more fragrances in the rotating table.
Hence, the multi-fragrance dispenser can be scaled to hold plurality of fragrances and a user can dispense plurality of fragrances to make a customized fragrance as per choice wherein the quantity of fragrance dispensed is accurately controlled using the linear actuated stepper motor with a defined pitch length that is enabled to dispense a controlled amount of fragrance. The user can alter the fragrances as per choice and mood.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
Many modifications and other embodiments of the invention set forth herein will readily occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention pertain having the benefit of the teachings presented in the foregoing descriptions and the associated drawings. Therefore, it is to be understood that the invention is not to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed and that modifications and other embodiments are intended to be included within the scope of the appended claims. Although specific terms are employed herein, they are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation.

We claim:
1. A multi fragrance dispenser system (100) comprising of:
a) a housing (108) having at least one opening (107) and a blower fan for fragrance dispersion;
b) a plurality of cartridges (105) each cartridge containing a fragrance;
c) a rotating table (102) having a plurality of grooves to removably hold the plurality of cartridges (105);
d) at least one stepper motor (106) positioned below the rotating table (102) for rotating said rotating table (106);
e) at least one linear actuated stepper motor (104) positioned above the rotating table (102) for selectively dispensing fragrance from said cartridge (105);
f) a fragrance vaporizing system (103) positioned below the rotating table (102) for collection and vaporization of the fragrance, said vaporizing system being controlled by a control system (101) paired with a wireless input unit; and
g) a power supply unit for powering the blower fan, control system (101) and said stepper motors (104), (106);
wherein,
said linear actuated stepper motor (104) has a predefined pitch length to allow vertical pressing and dispensing a desired amount of fragrance into the fragrance vaporizing system (103);
said stepper motor (106) allows selective rotation of rotating table containing the fragrance cartridges (105), further allowing selectively dispensing multiple fragrances from said cartridges (105) to the fragrance vaporizing system (103); and
said fragrance vaporizing system (103) comprises of a mixing pan with a magnetic stirrer for collecting and mixing a plurality of fragrances and a heating element for vaporizing the fragrance collected in the mixing pan.
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said stepper motor (106) is bipolar and has a preferable rotation angle of 1.8 degree.
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the linear actuated stepper motor (104) has a preferable pitch length of 1.25 mm.
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the control system (101) comprises a microcontroller which is preferably an ATMEGA controller.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the wireless input unit includes a smart device with an inbuilt application.
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the desired amount of fragrance is in range of 20 to 50 micro liters per press.
7. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the power supply unit is preferably a 12 V and 2 A power supply.
8. A method of dispensing multiple fragrance using a multi fragrance dispenser system (100) comprising the steps of:
a) receiving an input command wirelessly from an input unit for dispensing fragrance;
b) rotating a rotating table (102) removably holding a plurality of fragrance cartridges (105) using at least one stepper motor (106) positioned below the rotating table (102) upon actuation from input command in step a);
c) resting the rotating table (102) after rotation in step b) to a position to dispense the fragrance to a fragrance vaporization system (103);
d) dispensing fragrance in a desired amount in mixing pan to press fragrance cartridge by vertically moving a linear actuated stepper motor (104) after rotating table (102) rests to a position in step c);
e) vaporizing the fragrance dispensed in step d) by simultaneous stirring and heating of fragrance in the fragrance vaporization system (103); and
f) dispersing the vaporized fragrance obtained from step e) using a blower fan;
wherein,
multiple fragrance is dispensable by repeating steps b) to d) for plurality of fragrances before vaporizing of fragrance in step e);
said stepper motors (106) is bipolar and has a rotation angle of 1.8 degree; and
the desired amount of fragrance is in range of 20 to 50 micro liters per press.
9. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein the input unit includes a smart device with an inbuilt application.
10. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein said fragrance vaporizing system (103) comprises of a mixing pan with a magnetic stirrer for collecting and mixing a plurality of fragrances and a heating element for vaporizing the fragrance collected in the mixing pan.
