An Exhaust System Of A Vehicle

Abstract: An exhaust system (200) of a vehicle (100) is disclosed. The exhaust system (200) comprises an exhaust pipe (202) fluidly connectable to an engine (110). The exhaust pipe (202) comprises a first portion (204) and a second portion (206). At least one exhaust gas purification device (210) is connectable between the first portion (204) and the second portion (206). The exhaust system (200) further comprises at least one sensor (218) disposed on downstream end of the at least one exhaust gas purification device (210). The exhaust pipe (202) defines a medium turbulence zone (220), and the at least one sensor (218) is positioned in the medium turbulence zone (220) within a distance of four times a maximum cross-sectional diameter of the at least one exhaust gas purification device (210).
