An Ignition Switch Device Of A Vehicle

Abstract: Present disclosure relates to an ignition switch device (100) of a vehicle. The ignition switch device (100) includes a body (40), a barrel (10), an actuator, a carrier, and a 5 microswitch (70). The body (40) may be configured to be coupled to a frame of the vehicle. The barrel (10) may be rotatably positioned within the body (40) and defined with a keyhole slot (20) formed at a first end of the barrel (10). The actuator (94) may be rotatably coupled to a second end of the barrel (10). The carrier (50) may be rotatably coupled to the actuator (94). The microswitch (70) may be electrically coupled to an 10 electronic control unit and positioned proximal to the carrier (50), The carrier activates the microswitch (70) in a first position to switch ON ignition condition and the carrier deactivates the microswitch in a second position to switch OFF ignition condition.
