4. DESCRIPTION

TECHNICAL FIELD

[001] The present disclosure relates to a field of illuminating objects. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to an illumination arrangement seamlessly integrated with commercial appliances.

BACKGROUND

[002] Conventionally, the posters or stickers depicting the product available in the commercial refrigeration appliances are pasted over the commercial refrigeration appliances to attract the customers, create brand awareness and create impulsive purchase decisions. These stickers or posters used are normally approved art works of companies who want to have these stickers/posters pasted on the appliance to generate high brand awareness and brand recognition. However these posters are visible only up to a limited distance and are unnoticeable in dark.

[003] Typically, to overcome the above mentioned problem some kind of back lighting is provided behind these posters/stickers. These back lighted stickers/posters are normally and visibly add-ons to the commercial refrigeration appliances. The lighting is enclosed in heavy, protruding, thick and bulky, high electrical power consuming box shaped containers, through which light emitted is not uniform in nature and whose front end visible to customers side is pasted with the sticker/poster that needs to be illuminated. These box shaped containers while do an adequate job of illuminating the poster/sticker from behind they by virtue of inherent design cannot be seamlessly integrated into the commercial refrigeration appliance without being seen as an add on box to creating seamlessness between the container and the commercial refrigeration appliances. This very noticeable separation between the lighting box and the appliance does not allow for box and appliance assembly to look seamlessly integrated and look aesthetically pleasing and professional to look at. This does not allow the good professional appearance to the freezer display in line with the brand values and the company images.

[004] Presently, the freezers are having a set of advertising light boxes located at the top, side, front or back and inside of the commercial refrigeration appliance. This type of lighting is not conducive for saving electrical energy, and occupies high amount of space for these lighting systems manufacturing cost is also high. Further, the lamps used in these boxes are typically designed to operate for short durations of time between 1000 and 20000 hours.

[005] The existing advertising freezer lights are placed inside the box shaped containers. But this lighting system consumes more electrical energy, it has a possibility of damaging easily and the life time of these lights is very less. Thus the light-appearance in above the light distribution pattern has very poor appearance for advertising the images of the companies related to products.

[006] In the light of aforementioned discussion there exists a need of an illumination arrangement seamlessly integrated with a commercial appliance.

The terms "a" and "an" herein do not denote a limitation of quantity, but rather denote the presence of at least one of the referenced item. Further, the use of terms "first", "second", and "third", and the like, herein do not denote any order, quantity, or importance, but rather are used to distinguish one element from another. For a better understanding, components of the described embodiment are labeled with three digit component numbers. In general, the same first digit is used throughout the entire component numbers numbered and labeled within a figure. Like components are designated by like reference numerals throughout the various figures.

[0017] Referring to FIG. 1 is a diagram 100 light emitting diode strips arranged with the boundary edges of a freezer. According to a non limiting exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the display sheet includes one or more light emitting diode strips 102a and 102b, an edge light sheet 104 and a top door 106. For convenience the present disclosure discusses about a freezer, which is a commercial appliance including a commercial dispensing, vending, cooling or heating appliance. However it should be understood that in practice any of the commercial appliance can be used as similar as the freezer. The freezer which may include but not limited to cold storage compartment, any product storage unit and the like. The freezer is included with the top door 106 to provide a hygienic environment inside the freezer.

[0018] In accordance with a non limiting exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the freezer wall affixed with the one or more light emitting diode strips 102a and 102b at boundary edges to provide an effective illumination. Though not depicted in Figure 1, a gasket affixed to the top door 106 is used for covering a space between the freezer and the top door 106 for preventing the temperature leakage of the compartment. The edge light sheet 104 affixed between the one or more light emitting diode strips 102a and 102b to cover the front wall or side walls of the freezer for generating a line of light output and to provide an effective view of the characters displayed over the edge light sheet 104.

[0019] According to a non limiting exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, the one or more light emitting diode strips 102a and 102b are used to provide a physical attachment and electrical connectivity to the one or more light emitting diodes which are arranged on it for generating the illumination in a required angle.
