3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improved arrangement for phase and neutral terminals in single module modular devices. More particularly, the invention is concerned about providing an improved arrangement for phase and neutral terminals in a single module so as to make the arrangement compact and with simple and easy assembling/de-assembling.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
There are many applications in modular devices where both phase and neutral terminals are required. One of these application in modular devices where both neutral and phase terminals are required for operation is Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB).A residual current device (RCD), similar to a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB), is an electrical wiring device that disconnects a circuit whenever it detects that the electric current is not balanced between the energized conductor and the return neutral conductor. Such an imbalance is sometimes caused by current leakage through the body of a person who is grounded and accidentally touching the energized part of the circuit. A deadly shock can result from these conditions. RCDs are designed to disconnect quickly enough to mitigate the harm caused by such shocks although they are not intended to provide protection against overload or short-circuit conditions.
A Residual Current Breaker with Overload (RCBO) is a combination of an residual current device (RCD) and a miniature circuit breaker (MCB).
Conventional Residual Current Circuit Breaker device (RCCB) has two-module arrangement for their operation in which they provide phase terminal and neutral terminal side by side to each other. Now a day's all modular switches are coming in

single module. The RCCB requires both phase and neutral terminal for their operation. The conventional RCCB is not compatible with the present single module modular switches.
US 5,841,616 discloses a module for use with the circuit breaker, the module being arranged to be mounted on an end of the circuit breaker and to monitor and/or control the circuit breaker and/or an electrical circuit control thereby in use. The module can be active or passive, and, where circuit breakers are ganged in side-by-side relationship, the module can be equal in width to the width of the gang breaker unit to which the module is mounted. The invention also resides in the combination of a module and a circuit breaker.
US 7,221,548 discloses a test circuit is provided, which is independent of a power supply and which enables a circuit breaker to be tested in a reliable manner. The test circuit includes a test coil, which is devoid of electric potential and is wound around a totalizing current transformer. The test coil is preferably short circuited using a test switch and a connectable load. This simulates the occurrence of a residual current. The selection of an appropriate connectable load allows the sensitivity of the current circuit breaker to be tested in an advantageous manner.
The disadvantages with the prior art devices needed more space and is not compact as the two different terminals were placed in separate module. Further to make the present day single module modular switches compatible with the RCCB it is necessary to have provision for both the terminals in single module and such design was not found in the prior art.
Further RCCB in 2 modules are widely in use of our present day to day life. Some people are providing RCCB in single module also but they are not electromechanical, they are electronic. In which neutral wire is provided as an integral part of the switch

without having separate terminals for it. In that case if user wants to remove the neutral wire he needs to first open the cover. So the replacement procedure when neutral gets damaged is complicated
Thus there is a need to provide an improved Residual Current Circuit Breaker Device (RCCB) that integrates both phase terminal and neutral terminal in single module and easy to replace the damaged terminals.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The basic object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.
One of the objects of the present invention is to provide an improved arrangement for phase and neutral terminals in single module modular devices.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved single screw single module arrangement.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an arrangement which is compact and compatible with the present day single module modular switches .
Yet another object of the invention is to provide a cost efficacious arrangement.
Yet another object of the invention is to replace the damaged terminals and then install the new terminals in an user freiendly way.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to one aspect of the present invention there is provided an improved arrangement in single module for phase and neutral terminals in single module modular devices, said arrangement comprising:
(i) housing;
(ii) nut means fixed substantially transverse to said housing;
(iii) screw means operatively fastened to said nut means;
(iv) movable top terminal means which is in substantial tangency with the cease of said screw;
(v) bottom terminal means fixed with said housing at a predetermined proximity from said movable terminal;
(vi) insulating bridge means located in-between said top terminal and said bottom terminal means; and
(vii) plurality of slider means located on walls of said housing in operative engagement with the said insulating bridge such that movement of said screw in downward direction provides corresponding movement of said top terminal whereby said top terminal co-operates with said bridge means thereby moving said bridge means over the slider means so as to establish connection between said top terminal and bottom terminal.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
Figure 1 (a) illustrates a plan view of the arrangement of terminals in single module.
Figure 1 (b) illustrates an isometric view of the arrangement of terminals in single module.

Figure 2 illustrates Exploded view of the assembly. Figure 3 illustrates Exploded Terminal Assembly.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention uses a single screw to tight both phase and neutral terminals in single module modular devices which is an improved version of the existing conventional single modular devices.
Following are the parts added to the said improved assembly/device: Screw (1), Nut (2), Insulating bridge (3), Bottom terminal (4), Housing (5), Top terminal (6), Top opening in housing (7), Bottom opening in housing (8), slider means (9).
The installation procedure for the two terminals that is the phase and the neutral terminal in a single module with the help of single screw is explained below: -
When operator rotates the screw (1) it moves forward against the nut (2) that is fixed in the housing (5). The top terminal (phase terminal) is fixed/in contact/tangency at the bottom of the screw. So top terminal also moves forward (downward) with the screw, when the screw gets rotated to move forward against the fixed nut. The housing (7) comprises of the top opening in housing (7) and bottom opening in housing (8). Phase wire is inserted from the top opening in housing (7) where it gets tight between the moving terminal (phase terminal) and the insulating bridge (3). Once phase wire gets tight then further rotation of screw causes the bridge to move forward (downward) with the top terminal, which also moves downward. Hence the bridge starts moving down when the top terminal gets engaged. Now neutral wire inserted from the bottom opening in housing (8). Bottom terminal (4) (neutral

terminal) is fixed in the housing. So neutral wire gets tight between bottom terminal and the moving bridge.
The slider means (9) comprises of plural rails located on the walls of the housing. The insulating bridge (3) is operatively engaged to the rails (9) and the movement of the
screw (1) in downward direction provides corresponding movement of the top
terminal (6) which
moves the bridge means over the rails (9) which establishes
connection between the top terminal (6) and bottom terminal (4).
Further when one of the terminals gets damaged then, only the screw has to be un-tighten, so as to remove and replace the damaged terminals.
The invention has been described in a preferred form only and many variations may be made in the invention which will still be comprised within its spirit. The invention is not limited to the details cited above. The structure conceived is susceptible of
numerous modifications
and variations, all the details may furthermore be replaced
with elements having technical equivalence. In practice the materials and dimensions
may be any according to the requirements, which will still be comprised within its
true spirit.
