FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an improved fender assembly.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART
Fender assembly for the Agricultural tractor is used to carry the load of the co-operators, attachments mountings along with the vibration of the tractor during running and operations. This increases the load on the Fender assembly.
The fender assembly for the Agricultural tractor protects the operator from the rear wheel, guards the operator from direct splash of mud from rear tyre support canopy (max. weight of 50 Kg.), supports the running board and ROPS., seating provision for the co-operator and also for the mounting provision of the handtool and tool boxes. The fender assembly rear comprises of the sheets and plates. They are attached with the help of the arc welding, nuts and bolts. Presently, the Agricultural tractor is provided with several features like ROPS, Canopy and the provision for the operators. Tractor runs with a certain vibration and is not provided with suspension system (because of the cost impact and the space constrain). This is attached with the axle as a rigid body so that the entire vibration and bumps is directly transferred to the Fender. This makes the fender to work under the critical conditions, which results in development of a stress on the reinforcement plates and crack from the welding joints.

Reference may be made to fig. 1 showing fender assembly rear wherein right hand side sheet and centre support are attached with each other with the help of the arc weld from one side. High electric current at the starting and at the ending generates lot of stress at the welding joints and the fender assembly is rigidly mounted on the axle. The entire vibration is transferred from the chassis to the main body due the lack of suspension system even though the rubber pad is provided between the axle and the fender assembly, but they are not much capable of absorving the vibration.
Further, some times the tractor used in the field as well as on the road with lot of optional attachments mounted on the fender. This causes development of the load on the fender. Due to these load, the fender starts cracking from the joints. As this increases, there is the danger of fender cracking or accident.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide an improved fender assembly to eliminate fender cracking from the welding joints.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved fender assembly to increase the strength of the welding and fender assembly.
Further object of the present invention is to provide an improved fender assembly for reduced stress level relieving stress.

STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided an improved fender assembly comprising of C-type welding between right hand side sheet and centre support to improve strength of the welding.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
This invention discloses an improved fender assembly comprising of C-type welding between right hand side sheet (2) and centre support (4) in fig. 1. This provision improves strength of the welding.

A test was conducted on the accelerated vibration test rig with the both known and the improved fender assembly for 30-50 hours. The results are as shown in fig.4, 5, and 6. No deformation was found in case of the present invention after the trail of 50 hours. Thus, it increased life of fender by atleast 20%.
The improved welding process of the present invention overcomes the fender-cracking at the center channel and improves the strength of fender. The welding process is shown in fig. 2 and 3.

It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

1. An improved fender assembly comprising of C-type welding between right hand side sheet and centre support to improve strength of the welding.
2. An improved fender assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein said C-type welding is indicated in fig. 2 and 3.
3. An improved fender assembly substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
