PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

Field of invention:
The present invention is related to cab mountings of a commercial vehicles and more particularly it relates to an improved front cab mounting system for a commercial vehicles to improve its performance under the influence of impact forces.
Background of invention:
Commercial vehicles passenger cabin, known as cab, is mounted to the chassis frame through cab mounts. In the event of an accident, the cabin is exposed to high longitudinal impact forces. Under these forces the cabin structure has a tendency to buckle reducing the survival space required for occupants. Therefore the cabin structure needs to be strong enough to avoid the undesired buckling. In the process, the cab mounts are loaded with higher forces. Ultimately the forces are transferred to their mounting fasteners. The said mounting fasteners are vulnerable for failure under shear forces. Failure of the said fasteners leads to separation of the cab from the chassis frame which results into excessive bodily injuries to the occupants.
Objects of invention:
The main object of the present invention is to provide an improved front cab mounting system for vehicles.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved front cab mounting system which reduces the cabin buckling.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an improved front cab mounting system which reduces the shear forces on the mounting fasteners of the cab mounts.
