TITLE: HOOK-IN-SHOULDER AND A FASTENING FOR FASTENING A RAIL TO A CHANNEL SLEEPER USING THE SAME. An improved hook-in-shoulder unit for use in fastening of rail to steel channel sleeper with liner and elastic rail clip comprising a T-head protion; a stem portion havinhg its bottom and formed ont he middle top surface of said T-head portion; and a tunnel in the shoulder head formed on the top end of said stem portion; the side vertical face of said T-head portion; and a said vertical face of said stem portion being positioned in one or more predetermined vertical [planes, said side vertical face of said tunnel shoulder being slightly off-set to lie on a second predetermined inner parallel plane, said tunnel shoulder being provided with a horizontal under surface being parallel to the horizontal top surface of said T-head and said tunnel shoulder being provided with side vertical wall faces rising frombottom and co-terminating into an arched roof top through a hollow portion formed underneath.
