Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles.
PRIOR ART
Conventional LPG pipes are made of annealed copper material with PVC coating, which are manually routed on the Vehicles by hand bending without usage of any joint. This consumes lot of time for assembling them on LPG vehicles with lot of variations between the vehicles for this pipe fitment. Therefore, it is not suitable for mass production of LPG vehicles for online Assembly in shop.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to provide an improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles, which overcomes disadvantage(s) associated with the known art.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles, which is effective.
Further object of the present invention is to provide an improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles, which is simple in construction.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided an improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles wherein copper LPG pipe with end fittings are provided at one end and other end of joint is connected to steel LPG pipe with end fittings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWING
Further objects and advantages of this invention will be more apparent from the ensuing description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawing and wherein:
Fig. 1 shows: improved joint of the present invention for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles.
DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS;
The present invention discloses an improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles. Steel pipes are required to avoid the manual routing and variations on vehicles. LPG Valves and other mating parts are suitable for sealing with copper LPG pipes with end fittings. Hence, small copper pipe can be provided near LPG Valves and steel pipe can be provided on rest of area. Presently, no connections are available which can take care for Copper pipe and end fittings at one end and other end with Steel pipe and end fittings.
Reference may be made to fig. 1, wherein Copper LPG Pipe with end fittings are provided at one end and other end of Joint is connected to Steel LPG Pipe with end fittings.
Advantageous features of the invention
1. At One end of Joint Copper LPG pipe with end fittings can be provided and other end can be connected to Steel LPG Pipe with end Fittings.
2. Suitable for Sealing of LPG at High pressures at both ends for respective end fittings.
3. Suitable for online Assembly on vehicles.
4. No variations of LPG pipe routing between the vehicles.
5. Productivity is improved due to two piece construction of LPG Pipes with usage of Joint as preformed LPG pipes can be used for both steel and copper LPG pipes.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM;
1. An improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles wherein copper LPG pipe with end fittings are provided at one end and other end of joint is connected to steel LPG pipe with end fittings.
2. An improved joint as claimed in claim 1, suitable for Sealing of LPG at High pressures at both ends for respective end fittings.
3. An improved joint as claimed in claim 1 or 2, suitable for online Assembly on vehicles.
4. An improved joint as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein no variations of LPG pipe routing is observed between the vehicles.
5. An improved joint for steel and copper LPG pipe connection in LPG vehicles substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
